00:38the traits, the arm talent was visible. So was the mobility and the willingness to attack defenses
00:44downfield. And maybe, most importantly, the competitiveness. There were moments when
00:49Dart looked capable of becoming the quarterback that the Giants have spent years searching for.
00:54But right now, flashes, there aren't enough. Because year two changes the evaluation.
01:00Dart isn't the rookie learning on the fly anymore. He's the starting quarterback of a team trying to
01:05establish a new identity under John Harbaugh. And that means the Giants need to see progress,

01:41in all of football. Darnell Mooney, we know that he can add speed. Darius Slayton, he can stretch the
01:47field. And Otto Beckham Jr., he's back and he gives Dart another experienced target. And this Giants
01:53backfield should give the offense multiple ways to attack defenses. So this isn't just about
01:59evaluating Dart anymore. It's about seeing what Dart can do with an offense that should give him
02:05opportunities to succeed. And there's another important part of this equation. That's John Harbaugh,
02:10the new head coach. He has spent decades building teams around the strengths of his quarterback.
02:16Now, he and his Giants coaching staff, they've got to determine exactly what the best version
02:21of a Jackson Dart offense looks like. And Dart has talked about having more responsibility at the
02:27line of scrimmage, which is important because the next step in his development isn't just making plays.
02:32It's about controlling games, recognizing pressure, changing protections, understanding when the

03:23makes that leap this season, well then the Giants won't just have answered their biggest question for
03:272026. They may have answered their biggest question for the next decade, because the flashes are already
03:33there. The talent is already there. Now comes the part that ultimately determines what kind of
03:38quarterback Jackson Dart becomes, turning potential into consistent production. And after further review,
03:44year two, it isn't about finding out whether Jackson Dart has potential anymore,
03:48it's about finding out just how good he can actually become.
