00:00And then Mike Brown comes out today and says, and I didn't hear the question, but I'm just telling you
00:05what he said.
00:06Mike Brown came out and said, Mitchell Robinson did not break his pinky in game four.
00:11He also did not break his pinky during practice.
00:15When asked by the reporters then, well, if he didn't break his pinky in game four, nor did he break
00:19it in practice, how and where did he break it?
00:22Mike Brown said, that's all I'll say about the matter.
00:24I'm not discussing how and where he broke it.
00:27Now, the first thing that comes to my mind, to be fair, Mitchell Robinson, before game four, was very open
00:33about the fact that he's been struggling lately with some mental health issues, completely shut down all the social media,
00:40has been very open about the fact that he has some mental health issues that are causing him problems.
00:48And obviously, we're going to be very sensitive to that because that's real.
00:50And I'm very proud of him for the fact that he can own up to that as a man, because
00:54it's hard for men, obviously, to talk about mental health issues.
00:57But I obviously connect the two.
00:59Now, I wonder, did the mental health issues get them to a point where there was some level of violence?
01:05Not against a human being, but did he punch a wall?
01:08Did he hit something out of frustration and break his pinky?
01:11Now, at the end of the day, as long as he didn't hurt somebody else or hit somebody else, it's
01:16irrelevant how he broke his pinky.
01:19Correct.
01:19He's got a broken pinky.
01:20But that's it.
01:21Now we speculate on how he broke his pinky, and it becomes a story.
01:24We didn't – I don't understand.
01:25This one is even worse to me than the Giants.
01:28Coach, just say we're not sure when he broke it.
01:30Right.
01:30That's it.
01:31All you have to say is he went out of his way to say it wasn't during the game and
01:35it wasn't at practice.
01:36He could have said, I don't know how he broke it.
01:37He could have said, I have no idea.
01:38Well, I mean, I don't know, unless there was some sort of, you know, could it have happened before the
01:44game for, and he wasn't listed on, like, are they trying to get around some sort of, like, messing with
01:51the injury report thing?
01:53Yeah, I don't know.
01:53By saying it wasn't during the game or during practice, or could it now cause it?
01:56I have no idea.
01:57But it just seems like –
01:58Well, let me ask this.
01:59It doesn't really matter.
02:00But it's not there.
02:01Because I just said the same thing, and after I said it, I said to myself, maybe it does matter.
02:05Like, if you're a diehard Knick fan, and we're four wins away from our first championship since 1973, and a
02:12guy that we need to be on the court for the 20 or so minutes he's on the court, and
02:16maybe more than that, depending on, you know, if we're playing the Thunder or the Spurs, as a diehard Knick
02:21fan, if you find out that Mitchell Robinson broke his pinky and might be less effective than we've come to
02:27expect him to be in some type of silly off-the-court thing that he never should have been involved
02:33with, I guess it does matter.
