00:00But there happens to be a moment in the game yesterday
00:03that the Knicks got away with murder,
00:05and nobody wants to acknowledge it.
00:08So when Josh Hart makes the layup,
00:10and then Luke Cornett comes in,
00:12and in real time, I thought he shoved him to the ground.
00:15To be intellectually honest, he did not.
00:18He didn't.
00:18He's going to grab the ball.
00:20He does make physical contact with him.
00:22Hart goes flying.
00:24I think in retrospect, it's a good non-call.
00:26I can accept that non-call.
00:28But here's what happened.
00:30Prior to the timeout being called, which was called,
00:33because the Knicks wanted that play reviewed, obviously, right?
00:36Prior to that, you had O.G. Ananobi.
00:40You had Jose Alvarado.
00:42You had Jordan Clarkson.
00:44And it looked like D.O.R., who's obviously not going to play.
00:47What did they do?
00:48When Josh Hart's on the ground, they came off the bench.
00:52They came onto the court.
00:54And that is an immediate ejection from the game per NBA rules.
00:58Now, there was a timeout called right around the same time.
01:02So, once the timeout is called, obviously, anybody can leave the bench and come onto the court.
01:08But again, let's be honest.
01:10Those guys came off the bench and were on the court before the timeout got called.
01:15Meaning, no O.G. for two and a half quarters of that game.
01:19No Alvarado for two and a half quarters of that game.
01:23No Clarkson for two and a half quarters of that game.
01:25They would have been immediately ejected by rule by the NBA.
01:29I don't hear any Knicks fan complaining about that.
