00:00At the end of the day, do we really care what your fans of the city say about us?
00:03No, we don't.
00:04But it's always interesting to me when you hear the national media perspective.
00:08Now, true transparency, I was a part of that, right, when I was at FS1
00:12and left the station a few years ago.
00:14But the reality is that every national pundit, every step of the way,
00:20has said this is going to be a really tough matchup for the Knicks.
00:22Oh, this was going to be a really tough matchup for the Knicks.
00:25And when the Knicks basically swept through all those other teams,
00:28all those pundits, interestingly enough, went from,
00:32this is going to be a really tough matchup, you know, Embiid and Maxey,
00:35they can't beat those guys.
00:36Oh, you know, the guard play of Donovan Mitchell and Harden,
00:39you can't stop those guys, right, right?
00:41Oh, Wemby, you know, and obviously the youth and the athleticism of the Spurs.
00:46And now people are pivoting to, boy, this is going to be a really tough matchup for the Knicks.
00:51And now all of a sudden, it's the easiest road of all time to a championship.
00:55But every stop of the way, it was, oh, this is a bad matchup for the Knicks.
01:00Bad matchup.
01:01This is going to be tough for the Knicks to get by this series.
01:02Better off with the Celtics than the 76ers.
01:04But now it's like easiest road ever.
01:06And that just shows you the disingenuity of the national media
01:10that hates on everything that is New York.
01:12We're going to get back to the Knicks.
01:13I enfranç'd for the Knicks.
