00:00It's a Matt Rushmore, New York sports moment.
00:02No doubt.
00:02The only thing that comes close to it for me, if I go apples to apples,
00:06is game 686, where they were dead and gone.
00:10No chance to come back and win.
00:12Have that magical ninth inning, of course,
00:13the Mookie Wilson dribbler through Buckner's legs,
00:16and that gave them a chance to then play again
00:18and win a championship or World Series for them
00:21against the Red Sox the next night.
00:23This, obviously, is pretty damn close.
00:25While they can't win the championship last night,
00:28they can now win the title on Saturday night,
00:31and that's the best comp if you're looking for a comp.
00:34We can go through that throughout the day as well.
00:35All I can say is what we said last night on our YouTube special.
00:39This is what is so great about being a sports fan.
00:43This is why a radio station like WFEN exists.
00:46This is why we always talk about how sports is the great uniter, right?
00:51And anything can happen on any night
00:54because what we saw last night,
00:56nobody on this current planet has ever witnessed anything like it before.
01:01And you can kind of view it, I think, one of two ways, right?
01:04Depending on what glasses you're looking through.
01:06Either A, from a Spurs perspective,
01:10one of the biggest chokes in the history of sports.
01:12It's the Atlanta Falcons choking,
01:14you know, what was it, 28-3, 35-3, whatever it was,
01:18against the New England Patriots, right?
01:21Yep.
01:21From a Knick perspective,
01:23it's the greatest, grittiest comeback in the history of sports.
01:26It might be both at the same time also.
