01:00alarm fire uh as uh and they continue to try to to get it under control and and uh you

01:06just hope for the best possible resolution from this point forward thinks about as as much as we

01:44is he content to be running back three if he is maybe he just wants to stay in arizona maybe

01:49know he's got roots there and he doesn't want to move but uh i i would i would be real
01:54interested
01:55to see if if scouts could look at him and and and determine how much gas he has left in

02:01you know and if it's a good fit maybe maybe it's no longer a good fit because that was a

02:05role clayton adams had for him design the offense around james connor strength just as he did you know
02:11with the colts and now with the cowboys around javante william strength but that's one name
02:16taylor decker is a good veteran he wants he wants a lot of money i think his market value according
02:22to spotrack is 20 mil pff grade approaching 70 last year which is significantly above average
02:29uh left tackle but i think if they hadn't gone after a guy like taylor decker right now it'd be
02:33a surprise if they if they did when the offseason started that would have been one of my top priorities
02:38can we can we improve our floor at tackle um yeah maybe that maybe it's on the cards if you
02:45have a
02:45a training camp injury or some guy just massively underperforms maybe tyler guyton disappoints the
02:51coaches again with how he he shows up and goes about his business it's uh i guess it's comforting
02:56to know a player of that quality is still out there and available if they need them yeah i think

02:59that would be you know injury related uh i think they're going to give guyton every chance to earn
03:04this job and you know hopefully he does i mean i think that he needs if he can stay on

03:09and he shows the strides that he took last year before the injury in camp they'll be in a good
03:13spot but uh decker's definitely a name that i would kick around 100 and connor's coming off that foot
03:18injury only played three games last year so you have to check out the health okay yeah that's right he

03:45maybe jonah williams is the most likely out of this list first round pick they look to resurrect
03:51their career yeah i can see that and probably wouldn't be overly expensive that guy was such a
03:54disappointment in cincinnati yeah but uh he he signed with arizona with clayton adams in 2024
04:00maybe he can get something from him and then then he went out and missed uh what 19 of the

04:07he's only played in 15 games yeah he's been a hurt guy he's he's he's a banged up bust so

05:01yeah can george pickens be that everything yeah you know because i feel like especially with shoddy
05:07they're thinking we only are going to pay a certain amount of guys on every football team it's somewhere
05:11between six and 14 depending on how many awesome players you have and how aggressive your ownership is
05:15with writing checks and if we're gonna say you we want you to be a culture guy it's not good
05:22enough
05:22to just be amazing on sunday is it you know and then on top of that can you be maybe
05:27more of an
05:27unselfish football player can you block better george pickens should be a hell of a blocker
05:31yeah yeah at that size for sure and he he loves to kick db's butts he does he likes to
05:37get in fights
05:37you can legally kick this guy's ass yeah you know and now maybe it's a conditioning thing you know
05:43maybe you it's hard it is it is hard to play defense and score 30 in basketball it is hard

05:49run great routes and yak everybody and jump over dudes and be the hardest dude to tackle in the
05:53league and and also block your ass off you know maybe that's maybe that's why you have blocking
05:58specialists as your your fourth wide receiver something like that but um i i think the point
06:04plays and for it to be number one on the list i you know from calvin walkins he's dialed in
06:08he knows
06:09what the team's looking for for sure i mean and you do have teams like some of the the best
06:13shanahan offenses the mcveigh offenses they got wide receivers that are willing to block i mean
06:18that's just the the nature of the beast look at puka nakua i mean puka is a monster when it
06:23comes
06:23to blocking and he's also a dog getting targeted almost more than anyone in the league making big
06:28plays like i'd be putting on i'd be showing all my wide receivers look what puka's doing oh i'm in
06:33ross st brown and yeah st brown's another great example like these guys are prolific they're
06:38productive they're some of the best in the sport and they're also willing to do the the dirty work
06:44game changer and that's not just you george that's right everyone in this wide receiver
06:48and we talk about chunk runs that helps you with that oh yeah i mean how how is jameer gibbs
06:53and
06:53christian mccaffrey and and you know kyron williams all these guys like when you get to that second and
06:58third level a lot of that is because of your running or your wide receivers blocking along the edge
07:02if he wants to accept that challenge and look it in the eye and look in the man in the
07:06mirror and say
07:07i'm going to be the 100 best employee i could there will be no doubt in my mind that when

07:12get to the end of the year the cowboy should pay him and not cd lamb how many times do

09:09can he shine in this new system i i think it'd be the absolute best version of himself um you

09:22couple of points in in his career but at this point i'm just it's not belief it's just like i'm

09:27my fingers crossed for the guy you know he's he's he's one of the easier dudes to root for he's

09:31character he's a culture guy he's a leader he's the back of the defense in a lot of ways like

09:37exudes that that kind of energy that that you need at key spots so if he could be good i

09:42could you know be a multiplier type effect around that locker room but you gotta you gotta play well
09:47to get that status to impact guys to inspire guys guiding it for make or break you think i do

09:54yeah yeah this is it man and and it's similar to over shown in the sense that a lot of

10:00simply staying healthy that we've seen over shown actually be the dominant player on the field and

10:10nate thomas the 2024 seventh rounder he was he was decent in a couple of games last year kind of
10:16shaky at others but it seems like they want to give him a shot and he's strong as hell so

10:21cool if if nate thomas can have a good off season and show up significantly better deron bland at six
10:26coming back from the foot as a rock who at seven revel at eight uh cowboys now have 11 corners

10:3390 man roster i saw that's like that's like 12 percent of your team is corners right now so they

10:38looking for answers they are prospecting hard and all these guys have an opportunity caleb downs at
10:43nine can he live up to the hype you know a lot of expectations for this guy and then scoony

10:48you know it's it's it's just a deal where talk about make or break i mean are you gonna make

10:53roster yeah i guess they just they just need trig to be so good that the scoony becomes a fourth
