21:51And about a year before coming here, I lost my drag sister to depression.
22:00And, um, she harbored a lot of darkness.
22:05And, um, for people who are trans or on a journey of figuring that out, um, the country has not
22:12made itself a very safe place for those people.
22:14And to get the call that I lost my sister was so hard.
22:20And, like, one of the hardest things about that whole process was, um, I was asked to put her in
22:27makeup so she could be buried how she wanted to be seen by the world.
22:35And she was fierce.
22:37She was always fierce.
22:39And I wish that I could have reminded her how special she was more often.
22:43Well, I'm sure you made her proud today, sister.
22:45And I think you did her justice today.
22:47And thank you for sharing that with all of us, because I think it's a reminder that we forget that
22:51we all need some time, truly.
