00:13The applicant, Town Centre Securities, said it wanted to expand the growth of paddle tennis in the city.
00:19Courts on the eighth level of the car park would be close to high-rise student accommodation, restaurants and shops,
00:26and would result in the loss of 128 car parking spaces.
00:31Seven indoor courts would be housed in a detached aluminium framed structure.
00:36Leeds City Council is considering a planning application, which is out for consultation until the 3rd of June.
