00:01More than 240 flats could be built after the council agreed to sell a city centre plot of
00:07land to a housing developer. Land at Meadow Lane near the city's air park development
00:12and the Adelphi pub could be redeveloped after early stage plans were drawn up.
00:17Leeds City Council chose to sell the site, which is part of the South Bank area,
00:21to property company Glenbrook. A planning application from the company proposed 246
00:27apartments comprising mainly of one and two bedrooms in a development of up to 24 storeys.
00:36The scheme will be discussed when the Leeds City Council's city plans panel
00:40meets on Thursday the 14th of May.
