00:00There is a special feeling in the Queen's Park Cricket Club.
00:03It's barely been a day since they've won the TTCB T20 Festival and the buzz is still there.
00:10Coach of QPCC, David Fulong, indicated the excitement involves more than winning the crown.
00:15He says it was extra meaningful to prove doubters wrong.
00:19Winning is always a good feeling, you know, to do it eight times and, you know, especially when you defend
00:25the title.
00:27At the beginning of the tournament, you know, we weren't at our strongest.
00:30Many people didn't think that we would get out of the group stage.
00:34So, you know, I think a plus, you know, knowing that our youngsters, you know, came to foe, you know,
00:40it shows that our developmental program is doing well.
00:44He gave credit to the youngsters in the team who stepped up when it mattered.
00:48He had some vital performances from some of them, like Young Davis, Varsan Singh, which I think was outstanding with
00:55the ball.
00:56So that, you know, our journey, while it was a little rocky at times, but again, the youngsters are the
01:03ones who pulled us out of it so that, you know, our future looks well.
01:07As for the tournament MVP, Kadeem Allen, he believes he gave a great showing but still thinks he has some
01:13areas to improve on.
01:14I think Kadeem had an excellent T20 tournament.
01:19I think that, you know, it was, he could have done better and I'm sure that he will admit it.
01:25You know, he scored 225 runs at an average of 45 with that last innings, especially of 116 against in
01:34the final, you know.
01:35But, you know, I think he batted well, he hits the ball well.
01:39I think he just needs to work a little hard at his game and I think that, you know, he
01:44could reach very far in the T20 format of the cricket.
01:47In the meantime, their eighth title will be placed on the trophy shelf by the players who were rewarded with
01:53the belief that anything is possible.
