00:06Man of the match and birthday boy, Jid Gulli, said he dreamt about getting the achievement against the Leewards Thunder.
00:12We saw the celebration, the flying all over the place. What was that about?
00:17Just to express myself, you know, I had sleep last night, you know.
00:20I said, see, I can't leave this tournament, but I'm not getting my early match.
00:22So it feels pretty good for me and I celebrate my birthday in a few hours, so thankful for everything.
00:27Captain of Leewards, Karim Agor, was disappointed they did not get the win.
00:31185, we would take that, you know, in the final. I think the guys really tried, put out a good effort.
00:38But, you know, sometimes it's just execution falls off at the end.
00:42I can hear the disappointment in your voice.
00:44Captain of the TNT Legion, Joshua Da Silva, believes that their power-packed team made the difference.
00:49We're power-packed, man. We had a lot of excellent performances.
00:53It wasn't one man that did it each time. Navin was really consistent, which was great to see.
00:58But every game, somebody put up their hand and it was a total team effort to get this victory.
01:03He believes that the tournament was a success as it lived up to the title by giving young cricketers their break to showcase their talent.
01:10I mean, it's motivating for one.
01:12It gives everybody an opportunity who might not have an opportunity to play in CPL.
01:16Some of us have, but we might not have gotten all the opportunities that we would have liked.
01:20But just for that, a youngster might have never played on TV.
01:23Just that experience alone, he might have never done an interview.
01:25All of those things. I know there was a workshop that they did to learn those things.
01:29So the initiative is excellent and we couldn't ask for a better result.
01:32And the tournament itself was a really good success.
01:34What a fun tournament. It's been full of entertainment.
01:38This is the best team, the champions of the West Indies Breakout League.
