This comforting breakfast recipe takes buttered biscuits to another level. In this video, Nicole makes hot honey ham and cheese butter swim biscuits using a melted stick of butter and a ham and cheese-infused biscuit dough. Salty, sweet, and with a hint of spice, these baked swim biscuits are best served right out of the oven.

00:00Woo! Now that's a biscuit. Hot honey, ham and cheese, butter swim. Biscuits for the win. Speechless.
00:06Start by melting a stick of butter. Just go into the microwave for about a minute until it's melted.
00:10Meanwhile, mix together your dry ingredients. A little flour, baking powder, a little bit of sugar, salt, and cayenne.
00:16Once that's mixed, toss in your ham and your cheese. I'm going to get this all coated before you add
00:20in the wet ingredients.
00:21Make a little well and pour in the buttermilk. Give it a mix and add it to your melted butter.
00:24The dough's really thick, so just kind of gently spread it to the edges best you can.
00:28Then take a paring knife and score this into nine squares. Into the oven, 450 degrees.
00:33The way that cheese kind of gets crusty on the outside, it is the perfect salty, sweet hint of spice.
00:39They melt in your mouth. It feels like a treat and breakfast all at the same time. Speechless.
00:45That's a 13 out of 10. You have to make those.
