00:05112. And the attributes are a description
00:11113. So those who restrain with restraint
00:15114. The following are mentioned
00:18115. Your God is one.
00:23116. Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the easts
00:31117. Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with the adornment of stars.
00:41118. And protection from every rebellious devil
00:48119. They do not listen to the assembly above.
00:54110. They are pelted from every side
00:58111. They will be humiliated, and for them is a punishment and a curse.
01:04112. Except for one who snatches a cluster of grapes, and is pursued by a piercing flame.
01:13111. So ask them, "Are they stronger in creation or those We have created?"
01:21112. Indeed, We created them from clay.
01:27113. They are not only strange but also mocking
01:32114. And if they are mentioned, they do not remember
01:37115. And when they see a sign, they ridicule it.
01:42116. They said, “This is nothing but obvious magic.”
01:51117. When we have died and become dust and bones, will we indeed be resurrected?
02:02118. Or our first fathers
02:08119. Say yes, and you will be humbled.
02:13119. It will only be a single blast, and behold, they will be looking on.
02:23110. And they will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!"
02:30111. This is the day of judgment which you have been denying.
02:39112. Gather together those who wronged, their spouses, and what they used to worship.
02:48113. Without God, guide them to the path of Hell
02:56114. Stop them, for they are accountable.
03:03114. Why do you not help one another?
03:08115. But today they are submissive
03:12116. And they turned to one another, asking each other questions.
03:21117. They said, “You used to come to us from the right.”
03:30117. They said, “Rather, you were not believers.”
03:35118. We had no authority over you.
03:42119. Rather, you were a transgressing people.
03:48119. So the word of our Lord is true upon us.
03:53110. We will surely taste
03:57111. So we led you astray; indeed, we were astray.
04:04112. On that Day they will all share in the punishment.
04:12113. That is how we deal with criminals.
04:18114. When it was said to them, "There is no god but Allah," they were arrogant.
04:30114. And they say, “Are we to forsake our gods for a mad poet?”
04:42115. Rather, he brought the truth and confirmed the messengers.
04:49116. You will surely taste the painful punishment.
04:56117. You will only be recompensed for what you used to do.
05:03118. Except for the sincere servants of God
05:08119. Those will have a known provision.
05:14119. Fruits, and they are honored
05:19110. In the Gardens of Bliss
05:23111. On couches facing one another
05:28112. They will be served a cup of pure water.
05:35111. White, a delight for drinkers
05:41112. There is no ghoul in it, nor will they bleed from it.
05:49113. And they have minors of both sexes.
05:55114. As if they were hidden eggs
06:01115. Then they turned to one another, questioning each other.
06:09116. One of them said, “I had a companion.”
06:18117. He says, “Are you among those who believe?”
06:24118. When we have died and become dust and bones, will we then be held accountable?
06:35118. He said, "Are you aware?"
06:41119. Then he looked down and saw him in the midst of hell.
06:48119. God said, "If you were to return
06:54110. And were it not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been among those brought forth
07:01111. Are we not going to die?
07:06112. Except for our first death, and we will not be punished.
07:13111. This is indeed a great victory
07:20112. For such a thing as this, let the workers labor.
07:26113. Is that the best of accommodations, or the tree of Zaqqum?
07:33114. Indeed, We have made it a trial for the wrongdoers.
07:40115. It is a tree that grows out of the root of hell.
07:49116. He brought them out like the heads of devils.
07:56117. They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it.
08:05118. Then they will have a mixture of boiling water on it.
08:13118. Then their destination is Hell.
08:19119. They found their fathers to be misguided.
08:29119. They are rushing after them.
08:36110. And most of the earlier peoples had gone astray before them.
08:42111. And We have certainly sent warners among them.
08:48112. So see what was the end of those who were warned.
08:55113. Except for the sincere servants of God
09:00113. And Noah called upon Us, and how excellent a responder We are!
09:08114. And We delivered him and his family from the great distress
09:14115. And We made his descendants the survivors.
09:20114. And We left for him among later generations.
09:26115. Peace be upon Noah in all the worlds
09:31116. That is how We reward the doers of good.
09:37117. He is one of Our believing servants
09:43118. Then we drowned the others
09:47119. And among his followers was Abraham.
09:54119. When he came to his Lord with a sound heart
10:01110. When he said to his father and his people, “What do you worship?”
10:08111. Do you desire false gods besides Allah?
10:15112. What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?
10:22113. He looked at the stars
10:27113. He said, “I am sick.”
10:31114. So they turned away from him, fleeing.
10:35115. He turned to their gods and said, “Will you not eat?”
10:43115. Why do you not speak?
10:47116. He left them, striking them with his right hand.
10:53116. So they came to him, dancing
10:58117. He said, “Do you worship what you carve?”
11:04118. And God created you and what you do.
11:09119. They said, “Build him a structure and throw him into Hell.”
11:17119. They plotted against him, but We made them the lowest.
11:25110. He said, “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me.”
11:33111. My Lord, grant me righteous offspring.
11:38112. So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing son.
11:43113. When he reached the age of working with him, he said, “O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice you, so consider what you think.”
12:02113. He said, “O my father, do as you are commanded.”
12:09114. You will find me, God willing, among the patient ones.
12:18115. When they had both submitted and he laid him down on his forehead
12:25114. And We called to him, “O Abraham
12:32115. The vision has come true
12:35116. That is how We reward the doers of good.
12:41117. This is indeed a clear calamity
12:48118. And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice
12:53119. And We left for him among later generations.
12:58119. Peace be upon Abraham
13:03110. Thus do We reward the doers of good.
13:08111. He is one of Our believing servants
13:13112. And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous.
13:21111. And We blessed him and Isaac
13:28112. And among their descendants are those who do good and those who clearly wrong themselves.
13:38113. And We had already bestowed favor upon Moses and Aaron
13:45114. And We delivered them and their people from the great distress
13:52114. And We gave them victory, so they were the victors.
13:58115. And We gave them the clear Scripture
14:04116. And We guided them to the straight path
14:09117. And We left for them among the later generations
14:15117. Peace be upon Moses and Aaron
14:20118. That is how We reward the doers of good.
14:26119. They are among Our believing servants.
14:32110. And indeed, Elias was one of the messengers.
14:37111. When he said to his people, “Will you not fear God?”
14:44112. Do you invoke Baal and forsake the best of creators?
14:52113. God is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers.
15:01114. So they denied him, and they will surely be brought forth.
15:07115. Except for the sincere servants of God
15:12116. And our legacy is with others.
15:18117. Peace be upon Elias
15:23118. That is how We reward the doers of good.
15:29119. He is one of Our believing servants
15:35119. And Lot was one of the messengers.
15:40110. When We saved him and all his family
15:47111. Except for an old woman from the past.
15:52112. Then we destroyed the others
15:58111. And you pass by them in the morning
16:05112. And at night, do you not understand?
16:10113. And Jonah was one of the messengers.
16:15114. When he fled to the laden ship
16:20115. So he contributed and was among those who were refuted.
16:25116. Then the whale swallowed him while he was blameworthy.
16:30117. Had he not been one of those who glorify God
16:38118. To remain in its belly until the Day of Resurrection
16:45119. So we cast him out onto the open while he was ill.
16:52110. And We caused a gourd vine to grow over him.
16:59111. And We sent him to a hundred thousand or more
17:07112. So they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for a time.
17:13113. So ask them: Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons?
17:20114. Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?
17:29115. Indeed, they say, out of their own falsehood
17:38116. From their falsehood, they say
17:42117. God is born, and they are liars.
17:48118. He chose daughters over sons
17:53118. What is wrong with you? How do you judge?
17:57119. Do you not remember?
18:00110. Or do you have clear authority?
18:05111. Then bring your scripture, if you are truthful.
18:12112. And they have made a relationship between Him and Paradise.
18:19113. And Paradise knows that they will be brought forth
18:27114. Glory be to God above what they describe.
18:33115. Except for the sincere servants of God
18:38116. For you and what you worship
18:43117. You are not seductive.
18:50118. Except for those who enter Hell
18:54119. And there is none of us but has a known station.
19:03119. And we are indeed those who stand in rows
19:10110. And we are the ones who praise.
19:16111. And if they were to say
19:20112. If we had a mention from the ancients
19:28111. But we are the sincere servants of God
19:34112. But they disbelieved in Him, and they will soon know.
19:39113. And Our word has already gone forth to Our messengers.
19:46114. They are the victorious ones.
19:52115. And indeed, Our soldiers will be victorious.
19:58116. So turn away from them until the time comes.
20:03117. He made them see, and they will see.
20:08118. Are they hastening Our punishment?
20:13119. So when it descends upon their land, evil will be the morning of those who were warned.
20:22111. And turn away from them until the time
20:27111. He sees, and they will see.
20:31112. Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Majesty, above what they describe.
20:39113. And peace be upon the messengers.
20:43114. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds
