00:00111. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:05112. Alif Lam Mim
00:12113. Do people think that they will be left alone because they say, “We believe,” and will not be tested?
00:27114. And those before them were tested, and God will surely make evident those who are truthful and He will surely make evident the liars.
00:43115. Or do those who commit evil deeds think they can outrun Us? How evil is their judgment!
00:56116. Whoever hopes for the meeting with God, then the appointed time of God is surely coming. And He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
01:10117. And whoever strives only strives for [the benefit of] himself. Indeed, Allah is free of need of the worlds.
01:22118. And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely remove from them their misdeeds and will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.
01:39119. And We have enjoined upon man goodness to his parents
01:46110. But if they strive to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them.
01:56111. To Him is your return, and I will inform you of what you used to do.
02:05112. And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely admit them among the righteous.
02:15113. And among the people are those who say, “We believe in God,” but when they are harmed for the sake of God, they consider the persecution of people as the punishment of God.
02:30114. And if victory comes from your Lord, they will surely say, "Indeed, we were with you."
02:51115. Is not God the most knowing of what is in the hearts of all people?
02:59116. And Allah will surely make evident those who believe, and He will surely make evident the hypocrites.
03:09117. And those who disbelieved said to those who believed, “Follow our way, and we will bear your sins.” But they will not bear any of their sins.
03:27118. They are liars
03:32119. And they will surely bear their own burdens and other burdens along with their own, and they will surely be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about what they used to fabricate.
03:49110. And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years less fifty years, and the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers.
04:05111. So We saved him and the companions of the ship, and made it a sign for all people.
04:17112. And [remember] Abraham when he said to his people, “Worship God and fear Him. That is better for you, if you only knew.”
04:32113. You worship idols instead of God and you invent falsehood.
04:42114. Those whom you worship besides God do not possess for you any provision. So seek provision from God, worship Him, and be grateful to Him. To Him you will be returned.
05:02115. And if you deny [the message], then nations before you have also denied [it]. And the Messenger's duty is only to clearly convey [the message].
05:16116. Do they not see how God begins creation and then repeats it? Indeed, that is easy for God.
05:28117. Say, "Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent."
05:48118. He punishes whom He wills and shows mercy to whom He wills, and to Him you will be led astray.
06:00119. You cannot escape God's power, neither on earth nor in heaven.
06:09110. And you have no protector or helper besides God.
06:19111. And those who disbelieve in the signs of God and the meeting with Him - those have despaired of My mercy, and for them is a painful punishment.
06:38112. His people's only response was to say, "Kill him or burn him," but God saved him from the fire.
06:55113. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe.
07:02114. He said, “You have only taken idols besides Allah as a bond of affection among yourselves in this worldly life.”
07:16115. Then on the Day of Resurrection, some of you will disown one another and curse one another, and your abode will be the Fire, and you will have no helpers.
07:35116. So Lot believed in him.
07:39117. And he said, “I am emigrating to my Lord. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”
07:50117. And We bestowed upon him Isaac and Jacob, and placed in his descendants prophethood and scripture, and gave him his reward in this world.
08:07118. And in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.
08:14119. And Lot, when he said to his people, “Indeed, you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you in from among the worlds.”
08:31110. Do you approach men, cut off the road, and commit abominations in your gatherings?
08:43111. But the only answer of his people was that they said, “Bring us the punishment of God, if you are truthful.”
08:59112. He said, “My Lord, grant me victory over the corrupt people.”
09:05113. And when Our messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said, “Indeed, we will destroy the people of this town, for its people have been wrongdoers.”
09:27114. He said, “Lot is there.” They said, “We know best who is there. We will surely save him and his family, except for his wife; she will be among those who remain behind.”
09:47115. When Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed by them and became impatient with them. They said, “Do not be afraid or grieve.”
10:06116. We will save you and your family, except for your wife; she will be among those who remain behind.
10:15117. We will surely send down upon the people of this town a punishment from the sky because of their wickedness.
10:30117. And We have left therein a clear sign for a people who understand.
10:41118. And to Midian We sent their brother Shu'ayb, and he said, "O my people, worship God and remember the Last Day and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."
10:56118. But they denied him, so the earthquake seized them, and they lay lifeless in their homes.
11:06119. And 'Ad and Thamud—it has become clear to you from their dwellings—and Satan made their deeds seem fair to them and averted them from the way, and they were slanderers.
11:25110. And Qarun, Pharaoh, and Haman—Moses came to them with clear proofs, but they were arrogant in the land, and they could not escape [God's punishment].
11:43111. So We seized each of them for their sin; some of them We sent upon a violent storm, some of them were seized by a blast, and some of them We caused the earth to swallow up.
12:04112. And some of them We drowned. And God would not have wronged them, but they wronged themselves.
12:22113. The example of those who take protectors other than God is like that of a spider who builds a house; and indeed, the weakest of houses is the spider's house, if only they knew.
12:46114. Indeed, Allah knows what they invoke besides Him, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
12:58115. And these are the parables We set forth for mankind, but none will understand them except those of knowledge.
13:10116. God created the heavens and the earth in truth. Indeed, in that is a sign for the believers.
13:22117. Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing.
13:38118. And the remembrance of God is greater, and God knows what you do.
13:46119. And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those among them who commit injustice.
13:58110. And say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. Our God and your God is one; and we submit to Him."
14:16111. And thus We have revealed to you the Book
14:24112. Those to whom We gave the Scripture believe in it.
14:30113. And among these are those who believe in Him.
14:37114. And none deny Our signs except the disbelievers.
14:44115. And you did not recite before it any scripture, nor did you cut it with your right hand, otherwise the falsifiers would have doubted.
14:59116. Rather, they are clear signs in the hearts of those who have been given knowledge.
15:08117. And none deny Our signs except the wrongdoers.
15:16117. And they said, "Why have signs not been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, "The signs are only with God, and I am only a clear warner."
15:36118. Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book which is recited to them? Indeed in that is a mercy and a reminder for a people who believe.
15:56119. Say, "God is sufficient as a witness between me and you."
16:02110. He knows what is in the heavens and the earth
16:07111. And those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in God - it is they who are the losers.
16:18112. And they will hasten the punishment on you
16:22113. And had it not been for a specified term, the punishment would have come upon them.
16:31114. And it will come upon them suddenly while they are unaware.
16:39115. They are impatient for you to bring about punishment, but Hell will surely encompass the disbelievers.
16:49116. On the Day when the punishment will overwhelm them from above them and from beneath their feet, and it will be said, "Taste what you used to do."
17:03117. O My servants who have believed, indeed, My earth is spacious, so worship Me alone.
17:15118. Every soul will taste death, then to Us you will be returned.
17:25119. And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely assign to them lofty chambers in Paradise beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally. Excellent is the reward of the workers.
17:46110. Those who pour out their hearts and put their trust in their Lord
17:52111. And like any creature that does not carry its own sustenance, God provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
18:08112. And if you ask them, “Who created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?” they will surely say, “Allah.” So how are they deluded?
18:26113. God expands provision for whomever He wills of His servants and restricts it for whomever He wills. Indeed, God is Knowing of all things.
18:41114. And if you ask them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its death?" they will surely say, "Allah." Say, "Praise be to Allah, but rather..."
19:04Most of them are irrational.
19:07115. This worldly life is nothing but amusement and play. And indeed, the Hereafter is the true life, if only they knew.
19:25116. So when they embark on a ship, they call upon God, sincerely devoting their worship to Him. But when He delivers them to the cold, at once they associate others with Him.
19:39117. Let them deny what We have given them and let them enjoy themselves, for they will soon know.
19:50118. Have they not seen that We have made a sanctuary secure, while people are being snatched away all around them? Then do they believe in falsehood and disbelieve in the favor of God?
20:08119. And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about God or denies the truth when it comes to him? Is there not in Hell a refuge for the disbelievers?
20:26110. And those who strive in Our cause - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.
