21:46just commits to the left hand side
21:48and then holds that inside line of that
21:50downhill left hand up
21:52that same line Jeffrey was using
21:54earlier yeah and then through the waves
21:57so we've got 17 angles
21:58on there look just at the top of the screen there
22:00that's how he found his way through
22:02for that sixth place
22:05yeah and I wonder if Lucas
22:06has a plan here he's been stalking Kai
22:08for a few laps
22:10you kind of have to plan a pass here unless you get a mistake
22:12from the lead rider so uh
22:14he's had enough time to kind of figure out a place where maybe
22:16Kai's a little bit slower but
22:18I just you just hope
22:20that Lucas makes a smart decision here
22:22because this track is not very forgiving
22:24no no no two laps to go as well by the way
22:26and here is that battle once again
22:29one thing I've noticed about Lucas Kunin over the years
22:31if it doesn't work the first time
22:32he'll try and make it work the second time
22:34so we may try and see a repeat of the
22:37the pass
22:38at the end of these waves you can get good drive through here
22:41again look switches to the outside
22:42if you can commit here and get it right
22:45which again doesn't quite
22:47go his way he wasn't far off though was he
22:48yeah he's taking that you know that outside
22:50is pretty unorthodox slower at the beginning
22:53but quicker at the end I still think that very
22:54inside where we saw February get by Fernandez
22:56is a bit quicker though
22:58gonna try his look here wide
23:00open up the corner uses a little bit of something
23:02just to get some traction he's
23:04good through here actually
23:08yeah DeWolf takes a look over

23:11yeah not a lot of love lost between these two
23:13and you see that just the bike
23:15just stand up on on Lucas a little bit
23:18there it's just little things like that is it
23:19causing him to not have a good race no
23:21but it's it's also not inspiring any confidence
23:23for him either yeah
23:25and he does wear his heart on his sleeve like the corner to
23:27our right now that left-hander
23:29his first attempt to fast
23:32lap in time practice today
23:33Adamo was kind of on the outside and he come up to the inside drifted out
23:37and just caught the bank ever so slightly
23:38he'd gone purple purple purple at that point
23:40and then just catching that bank
23:42he threw the lap in
23:43yes it was early on
23:45but he was arms and frustrated
23:48and you know and he just needs to
23:51he's young but he needs to contain that
23:53sometimes yeah he's got
23:54DeWolf on the rope so here
23:56both riders making a couple of mistakes in quick succession
23:59coming through those last couple of corners
24:00but kind of probably closer than he has been the last couple laps
24:03yeah he's up the urgency a bit
24:04and speaking of frustration this track
24:06will frustrate you because
24:08it makes you want to ride harder
24:10when you get frustrated but the track doesn't
24:12work for you so see if this outside
24:14works it's been a little bit slower oh he actually
24:16changes lineup yeah
24:18trying to get to that outside and carry speed he might
24:20have a run this time it wasn't efficient
24:22through there though was he but can he get this bike
24:24turned this time around DeWolf will know
24:26that he's there he'll get the elbow out and he
24:28makes a mistake bounces off puts him under
24:30pressure and that's all it took in
24:32the end he parks him up can't give
24:34him a way through back up the inside and
24:36Coonan now finally up to second
24:38on the final lap
24:41maybe
24:42because the response here from DeWolf
24:44is going to have to go the long way around here
24:46now as we jump back up towards
24:48turn ten protect this inside
24:53the persistence finally paid off for Lucas Coonan
24:56to get himself into that second yeah I don't think
24:58Kai's quite done yet Lucas has got to protect
25:00these insides you see Kai getting a run up the
25:02inside there
25:04yeah and uh
25:06you've got a situation where Coonan
25:08very wise Jeffrey Herlings all like the
25:10candles here he wins the qualifying race here
25:12in France we wait for DeWolf

25:27shows why he's got that sort

25:46when you look at the uh
25:47timing seven hundreds of
25:49seventy five thousands of a second
25:51that's all it was and you know to be
25:53it would be interesting to see where Kai got
25:55him back he got a good run uh right when
25:57we were exiting the screen there but
25:59Lucas could have made that worse so
26:02give Lucas a little bit of credit for
26:04staying safe there yeah
26:06if that would have been the last race
26:08last lap last quarter for the GP win
26:10yeah Kai maybe uh he may be over the fence
26:12with that checkered flag getting a wash in
26:14somebody else's camper
26:16anyway 14 laps complete Jeffrey
26:18hurlings 3.8 seconds clear at the end
26:20gets his third qualifying race
26:22win 32 points in the qualifying races now
26:24for the bullet hrc
26:26petronus rider
26:33and we are getting ready to talk to our
26:38race winner Jeffrey hurlings
26:40that was a crucial pass that uh
26:42in terms of Jeffrey's championship
26:44because Lucas 239 hurlings 237
26:47Kuna made that pass we were going to be
26:49down to uh two points now uh
26:51out to three points now down to two points
26:53again you know what I mean it was four at
26:55the start of the day but anyway
26:58as you were yeah Lucas won't be happy
27:00with that no no no he won't he won't
27:01be happy with that but tomorrow
27:03tomorrow is an important day
