00:10O Lord, open our lips, and our mouths shall sing your praise.
00:17O God, make speed to save us. O Lord, make haste to help us.
00:26Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
00:32is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
00:39Let us praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.
00:49I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
00:59I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
01:09God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the
01:19Father.
01:20Through him all things were made.
01:23For us men, and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit, was incarnate of
01:31the Virgin Mary, and became man.
01:35For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
01:39He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
01:46He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:52He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
01:59I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father,
02:06who with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
02:14I believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic church.
02:18I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
02:23and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
02:30Amen.
02:33The Lord be with you, and also with you.
02:39Let us pray.
02:42Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:45Christ, have mercy upon us.
02:48Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:53Our Father in heaven, holy is your name.
02:58Your kingdom come.
03:00Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
03:05Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
03:16Do not allow us to fall into temptation, but deliver us from every evil.
03:23Amen.
03:27O Lord, have mercy upon us, and grant us your salvation.
03:35Bless your ministers with righteousness, and make your chosen people joyful.
03:44O Lord, save your people, and bless your inheritance.
03:51Give peace in our time, O Lord, because there is none other that fights for it, but only you, O
03:59God.
04:01O God, make clean our hearts within us.
04:06Do not take your Holy Spirit from us.
04:15The first book of kings, chapter 12.
04:20Jeroboam built up Shechem in the Ephraimite hill country, and lived there.
04:25From there he went out and built up Penuel.
04:27Well, Jeroboam then thought to himself,
04:31Now the Davidic dynasty could regain the kingdom.
04:36If these people go up to offer sacrifices in the Lord's temple in Jerusalem,
04:40their loyalty could shift to their former master, King Rehoboam of Judah.
04:46Then they might kill me, and return to King Rehoboam of Judah.
04:53After the king had consulted with his advisors, he made two golden calves.
04:57Then he said to the people,
04:59It is too much trouble for you to go to Jerusalem.
05:03Look, Israel, here are your gods who brought you up from the land of Egypt.
05:08And he placed one in Bethel and the other in Dan.
05:11This caused Israel to sin.
05:14The people went to Bethel and to Dan to worship the calves.
05:20He built temples and high places and appointed as priests people who were not Levites.
05:27Jeroboam inaugurated a festival on the 15th day of the 8th month,
05:31like the festival celebrated in Judah.
05:34On the altar in Bethel, he offered sacrifices to the calves he had made.
05:40In Bethel, he also appointed priests for the high places he had made.
05:47On the 15th day of the 8th month, a date which he had arbitrarily chosen,
05:53Jeroboam offered sacrifices on the altar he had made in Bethel.
05:58He inaugurated a festival for the Israelites and went up to the altar to offer sacrifices.
06:06At that moment, a prophet from Judah sent by the Lord arrived in Bethel,
06:11just as Jeroboam was standing near the altar ready to offer the sacrifice.
06:17With the authority of the Lord, he cried out against the altar.
06:21Altar, altar! This is what the Lord says.
06:25Look, a son named Josiah will be born to the Davidic dynasty.
06:31He will sacrifice on you, the priests of the high places who offer sacrifice to you.
06:38Human bones will be burnt on you.
06:42That day he also announced a sign.
06:46This is the sign that the Lord has predetermined.
06:49The altar will be split open and the ashes on it will fall to the ground.
06:58When the king heard what the prophet cried out against the altar in Bethel,
07:02Jeroboam, standing at the altar, extended his hand and ordered,
07:07Seize him!
07:09The hand he had extended shriveled up, and he could not pull it back.
07:14The altar split open, and the ashes fell from the altar to the ground,
07:19in fulfilment of the sign the prophet had announced with the Lord's authority.
07:25The king pleaded with the prophet,
07:28Seek the favour of the Lord your God and pray for me, that my hand may be restored.
07:35So the prophet sought the Lord's favour, and the king's hand was restored to its former condition.
07:42The king then said to the prophet,
07:44Come home with me and have something to eat.
07:46I'd like to give you a present.
07:49But the prophet said to the king,
07:51Even if you were to give me half your possessions, I would not go with you, and eat and drink
07:56in this place.
07:58For the Lord has given me strict orders,
08:01Do not eat or drink there, and do not go home the way you came.
08:06And so he started back by another road.
08:09He did not travel back on the same road he had taken to Beth-El.
08:14This is the word of the Lord.
08:17Thanks be to God.
08:23Lord, give thanks unto the Lord, and all upon his name.
08:31Tell the people what things he hath done.
08:37Lord, let your song be of him and praise him.
08:42And let your song be of him and praise him.
08:50And let your song be of him and praise him.
08:51Rejoice in his holy name.
08:56Let the heart of them rejoice and seek the Lord.
09:04Seek the Lord and his strength.
09:08Seek the Lord and his strength.
09:15Remember the marvelous works that he have done,
09:22His wonders and the judgments of his love.
09:29For he's seen of Abraham and his sons,
09:34His children of Jacob is chosen.
09:42He is the Lord of God.
09:47His judgments are here all the world.
09:55He hath been on the mind through all this covenant and promise.
10:02As he made to a twelve generations.
10:11Even the covenant that he may prevail,
10:18And in the youth that he swear to Israel,
10:25And the appointed Tagen to Jacob for long.
10:32And to Israel, who will ever last witness to you,
10:41Say, unto thee will I give a land of favor,
10:48The Lord of all in heaven, when there were yet but a pure,
11:01And great strangers in the land.
11:09What time as they went from one nation to another,
11:15From one kingdom to another people,
11:23We suffered no men to do them wrong,
11:30But we proved even kings for their slaves.
11:36Such was my love, and to my love, and to my love,
11:45The Lord of all.
11:51The Lord of all in heaven, and the Lord of all in heaven,
12:01And destroyed all the provisional faith,
12:13Then the Lord of all in heaven, and for their holy prayer.
12:28Here and
12:30and turn into his soul.
12:36Until the time came that it's not what long
12:42the one of the law of time.
12:51The king is straight and deliverable,
12:56the prince of the people let him go free.
13:05He made him master of his house
13:11and ruler of all his sustenance.
13:18That he might inform his princes after his will,
13:26and he did send it as wisdom.
13:31Israel also came into Egypt,
13:37and Jacob was a stranger in the hand of man.
13:44And he reached his people at sea,
13:53and made them stronger than their enemies.
13:58He was a stranger in the hand of man.
14:07He was a stranger in the hand of man.
14:14He was a stranger in the hand of man.
14:26He was a stranger in the hand of man.
14:33He was a stranger in the hand of man.
14:41He was a stranger in the hand of man.
14:54He was a stranger in the hand of man.
15:00He was a stranger in the hand of man.
15:08He was a stranger in the hand of man.
15:22He was a stranger in the hand,
15:24and london came in the hand of man.
15:28He gave away 65.
15:31He danced with away his Vatican.
15:38He gave away 61.
15:40He was a stranger in the hand,
15:44and with his daughters.
15:48He was a lady in the hand of man.
15:50He saved the world and the cross of his cave, and turned the pillars in the world of hope.
16:04And he laid upon the cross in the land, and he hung the cruelt of the crown.
16:14He stood and had torn in the land, even the sheep of the nest.
16:28He brought them forth for so rich, silver and gold.
16:36There was not one hidden cross from a hundred light.
16:43Egypt was glad and there he brought me, though they were a great old man.
16:57This dreaded cloud to be thy crown, and God who will lighten your voices.
17:09This dreaded cloud to be thy crown, and he filled them with the bread of hell.
17:22He opened the rock of stone, and the waters flowed out, so that rivers flowed in the dry places.
17:53And he brought forth his people with joy, and distorted with love, and gave them the land of the people.
18:10The Lord, the Lord, the Lord, the Lord, the Lord.
18:15God bless you.
18:45He is now and never shall be, world without end. Amen.
19:09The Gospel according to Saint John, chapter 7.
19:14After this, Jesus travelled throughout Galilee.
19:18He stayed out of Judea because the Jewish leaders wished to kill him.
19:23Now the Jewish feast of tabernacles was close, so Jesus' brothers advised him,
19:28Leave here and go to Judea, that your disciples may see your miracles that you are performing.
19:34For no one who seeks to make a reputation for himself does anything in secret.
19:40If you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.
19:43For not even his own brothers believed him.
19:48So Jesus replied,
19:49My time has not yet arrived, but you are ready at any opportunity.
19:54The world cannot hate you, but it hates me,
19:57because I am testifying about it that its deeds are evil.
20:02You go up to the feast yourselves.
20:05I am not going up to this feast, because my time has not yet fully arrived.
20:10And when he said this, he remained in Galilee.
20:16But when his brothers had gone up to the feast,
20:18then Jesus himself also went up,
20:21but not openly, but in secret.
20:25And so the Jewish leaders were looking for him at the feast, asking,
20:29Where is he?
20:31There was a lot of grumbling about him in the crowds.
20:34Some were saying he is a good man,
20:36and others, he deceives the common people.
20:40However, no one spoke openly about him,
20:43for fear of the Jewish leaders.
20:46When the feast was half over,
20:48Jesus went up into the temple courts and began to teach.
20:52Then the Jewish leaders were astounded,
20:55and said,
20:56How does this man know so much,
20:58when he has never had any instruction?
21:01So Jesus replied,
21:02My teaching is not from me,
21:04but from the one who sent me.
21:07If anyone wants to do God's will,
21:09he will know about my teaching,
21:10whether it is from God,
21:12or whether I speak from my own authority.
21:16The one who speaks on his own authority
21:18desires to receive honour for himself.
21:20The one who desires the honour of the one who sent him
21:23is a man of integrity,
21:26and there is no unrighteousness in him.
21:29Has not Moses given you the law?
21:31And yet not one of you keeps that law.
21:36Why is it you want to kill me?
21:39The crowd answered,
21:41You are possessed by a demon.
21:43Who is trying to kill you?
21:46Jesus replied,
21:48I perform one miracle,
21:49and you are all amazed.
21:51However,
21:52Moses gave you the practice of circumcision,
21:55not that it came from Moses,
21:56but from the forefathers.
21:58And you circumcise a male child on the Sabbath.
22:03But if a male child is circumcised on the Sabbath,
22:06in order that the law of Moses is not broken,
22:10why are you angry with me
22:12because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath?
22:15Do not judge according to external appearance,
22:19but judge with proper judgment.
22:22This is the word of the Lord.
22:25Thanks be to God.
22:31Collect for Peace
22:34O God,
22:35who is the author of peace
22:37and lover of concord,
22:39in knowledge of whom stands
22:41our eternal life,

23:00our Lord.
23:01Amen.

23:31by your governance
23:33to do always that
23:35which is righteous in your sight.
23:38Through Jesus Christ,
23:40our Lord.
23:41Amen.

23:48all that this day might bring me
23:50and let me devote myself
23:52completely to your sacred will.

24:02in all my deeds and words.
24:05When unpredictable circumstances arise,
24:08do not let me forget
24:10that everything comes from you.
24:14Lord Jesus, Son of God,
24:17it is better not to live
24:18than to live without you.
