00:00hello guys and welcome back to the channel today i'll be doing my top 12
00:06fragrant roses of 2025 so i'll be slowly rounding up the year and sharing my most
00:16fragrant roses and i actually have a list of nearly 30 very fragrant roses i've discovered
00:22this year i could choose from but i have really chosen to share only 12 of the very best with
00:31you
00:32because i believe these are the true stunners the ones that really make people out there happy and
00:40be extremely fragrant but let's go over them and it should probably come as no surprise that
00:50um the first one on the list is a very famous red rose on this channel i think most of
00:59you know the
01:00rose i'm talking about and but let's go here and search it up the first one on the list is
01:07of course
01:07velvet fragrance rose this rose bred by fryer is one of my absolute favorite roses on fragrance i gave
01:18this one a 10 out of 10 for a reason and that reason is there's nearly nothing as fragrant as
01:26this rose
01:26it is truly the most fragrant rose especially the most fragrant red rose i have ever had in my garden
01:35honestly very few roses can compete with willow fragrance wonderful healthy red variety very
01:44gallicat a mask and a bit of fruit um traits it inherited from a deep secret and a fragrant cloud
01:54honestly such an amazing red rose for those of you that has have been screaming about a good red rose
02:01and a very fragrant red rose well maybe give velvet fragrance a try it is so amazing you wouldn't
02:08believe on fragrance absolutely love velvet fragrance and what is the next one you're probably all wondering
02:18now well let's go to a list here the next one is anna puana rose it is a white rose
02:25i have been raving
02:26about for the last few weeks probably only a week for you guys but i've been raving about this rose
02:34to myself a
02:35lot uh such a fragrant uh white rose a wonderful wonderful fragrance of citrus on this one simply
02:45amazing very healthy i love everything about it it is one of my most favorite white roses just look at
02:53that picture can you see why that rose is one of my most favorite white roses then i had a
02:58very potent
02:59eight and a half and a half out of ten citrus scent to that and uh you got the reason
03:04why i'm been raving
03:05so much about anna puana bread by the oil but um let's continue here what is the next one the
03:13next one
03:13is actually a danish rose and it is princess alexandra renaissance
03:24and let's have a look this is really one of the most powerful citrus scented roses i have ever tried
03:34it is a nine out of ten for me on citrus i honestly it was stronger than even delish was
03:40on a scent and
03:42what i really like about it is it gets this open center with these very ruffled outer edges so honestly
03:48it looks like nothing else when it opens that center and has these very ruffled outer edges
03:55the perfume on that simply gorgeous and the unique look of it i absolutely love this danish rose
04:04you can probably see here with the open center and these ruffled edges and add on top that nine out
04:10of
04:10ten powerful citrus fragrance honestly i really like this danish rose
04:17i'm not sure i like it as much as mom in a million but it is definitely up there definitely
04:23up there
04:25and uh yeah let's continue here and what is the next one the next one is deep secret rose
04:33oh deep secret oh it is such a deep secret or mildred shield is such a wonderful
04:40uh red cut flower gives you a lot of big blooms really full of that um the mask and uh
04:50yeah primarily
04:51the mask a little bit of galga but primarily the mask scent on this one eight and a half out
04:57of ten
04:57the mass scent so powerful so floriferous so healthy um honestly if you want a rose with fragrant cut
05:05flowers you can take inside uh this is a very good bet it does get a bit of forms though
05:12as it gets a
05:13older but just look at those blooms and add on top that is one of the most fragrant red roses
05:19i have
05:20ever had in my garden honestly deep secret has the health most red roses wish they had including mr lincoln
05:30including a garden diana including a lot of these are red roses like when those red roses make four
05:37blooms deep secret will have made 12 blooms deep secret is simply so floriferous and when you add that
05:43on top of um how scented it is uh that is simply amazing simply amazing rose for that health floriferous
05:54and the scent and what about the next one the next one is red perfume de provence
06:04red perfume de provence is a very scented raspberry rose um or galica if you prefer but it is scented
06:12like raspberry but it gets the trade from galica and what i really like about it is the growth habit
06:19is kind of similar to well fragrance it's not the biggest monstrosity but that powerful raspberry
06:27fragrance it has one of the absolute best raspberry fragrances i have ever encountered um such a
06:34beautiful red rose wonderful for cut flower also blooms about the same as a velvet fragrance um it gives
06:41you like four to five blooms at a time when it's more of a grown-up rose it is not
06:49the most floriferous but
06:50it is such a stunning rose with such a potent uh raspberry perfume and it is also very healthy let's
07:00continue
07:00here and next one is um chertrude de parme parma how you like to pronounce it but this very very
07:13stunning
07:14chertrude colored rose um or chertrude i i really i really like this rose it is one of those roses
07:24that i received like i think like 20 medals for fragrance simply amazing amazing um on fragrance it
07:32stands up to the rain also very well because even though these flowers are very huge they're not that deep
07:39they're actually quite shallow copped so i tend to stand up to the rain quite well and the health is
07:45also excellent on it and the fragrance the fragrance is eight and a half out of ten very fruity dominated
07:52fragrance i absolutely love it it might actually be one of my new favorite roses this one a very wonderful
08:01rose from a perfume for sure and what is the next one the next one was actually a surprise for
08:09me
08:09that was peter paul rubens um peter paul rubens has such a unique look it has such a powerful myrrh
08:18fragrance you wouldn't believe a lot of myrrh a little bit of blood orange honestly the fruitiness on
08:26the front end for that very powerful myrrh with this unique look with a more colored center honestly i
08:34really like um peter paul rubens and i can't wait for mine to grow a bit older and me having
08:41more
08:41experience with it but such a wonderful fragrant rose for that myrrh fragrance and just look at
08:48that color really wonderful rose let's continue here the next one is uh of course a very famous one it
08:57is delish rose now delish rose is a a really really potent citrus fragrant rose um it is a wonderful
09:08rose it does want to droop a little bit with the flowers and it also gets a bit taller but
09:15such a
09:16powerful um scented citrus fragrance on this one a very beautiful rose for citrus fragrance i still prefer
09:24princess a princess a little bit more uh princess a little bit more but honestly delish is not that
09:30far behind it is really not both very potent uh citrus fragrances then you have a beverly rose
09:40beverly rose such a wonderful uh damask fragrant rose with a bit of a citrus thrown in
09:47i really like it um i actually believe this one deserves a 9 out of 10 um it is very
09:54close to
09:55being as fragrant as mom in a million and mom in a million is a 9 out of 10 damask
10:00rose for me so this
10:02is another one of those really good fragrant roses in pink you can use in your garden and i think
10:10there's
10:10reason barely is uh becoming slowly one of the best selling roses um i really like this one um sometimes
10:20i do have a lid of a little bit of rain damage on it but it has not been enough
10:25for me to
10:27stop growing it twice in a blue moon was much worse for me and sophie rochers was also much worse
10:34for me
10:34on rain damage but uh let's continue here the next one is a kiss me kate kiss me kate is
10:43such a wonderful
10:448 out of 10 citrus fragrant climber it is a extremely healthy and um a very good fragrance it is
10:52slowly
10:53becoming one of my most favorite climbers and i'm really considering uh letting gertrude jaggle go
10:59because of the black spot and uh replacing her with a kiss me kate um i really like um kiss
11:07me kate rose
11:08it is a wonderful citrus fragrant rose with a very unique look and a very good leaf health and disease
11:16resistance but uh let's continue here what is the next one the next one is a raspberry cupcake
11:27cupcake now raspberry cupcake can sometimes get a bit of rain damage but what it gives you is a very
11:34honorable 8 out of 10 citrus scent and it also has this kind of old rose look to it very
11:42beautiful
11:43rose and it also likes to flower decently um so yeah very decent citrus fragrance um it can get a
11:51bit
11:51of rain damage but most roses can um but yeah i really like this one too from the perfumer collection
11:59and let's just see here if there's more i want to tell you guys about i actually think that was
12:06the one
12:08the roses that will make to the top 12 placement uh there are more roses of course but um to
12:16be honest
12:16with you i want to save those for a runner-up video and i want to save some of the
12:22roses for
12:23best on health and best on flowering but i really think um these 12 roses were the best i sent
12:31it
12:31in 2025 especially get velvet fragrance get anna purna get red perfume difference get deep secret and what
12:42else did we have chateau stippam uh peter paul rubens princess alexander renaissance honestly all of
12:49these are so fragrant um i don't think you'll find uh roses that are more fragrant than this to be
12:58honest
12:58with you especially well fragrance well fragrance well i don't really think that honestly 99.9 percent of
13:07roses won't be able to compete with well fragrance that that i promise you and something like anna purna
13:13with that eight and a half citrus scent again most roses won't be able to compete with anna purna
13:20and these roses i'm giving you here is a good example of you don't always have to buy austin roses
13:25you
13:26don't always have to buy perfumer collection roses um sometimes the best roses are actually these
13:33uh very uh unique roses from the small breeders they get where they get these kind of one-hit wonders
13:41and then they just does amazing amazing my finger just about the yellow rose julia charl julia charl was
13:49a one-hit wonder by a more hobby grower that then become a more professional um um gardener or rose
13:58breather and a lot of times um you see these success stories where the amateurs can really make the best
14:05roses uh so um while a lot of um the professional roads are growing they are rose plant nurseries they
14:15spend like 11 million and then after 10 years they come up with something that's half decent uh i don't
14:22know always why it is like that but sometimes you generally see um one-hit wonders out there by
14:29people that are relatively unknown um so yeah if i had to really highlight my favorites out of these
14:37anna purna deep secret and well red fragrance i really believe those three i am absolute must especially
14:47if you have been lacking uh fragrant red roses and fragrant white roses which honestly seems to be
14:54most people these days because both austin and to some extent codess have kind of decided that
15:02red and white don't exist anymore and their breeding programs which is kind of sad honestly
15:10so i think that's why there's a lot of demand out there now for fragrant white roses and fragrant red
15:16roses and why people have starting more spreading out the search uh to something that is not austin and
15:23to something that's um not always codess um codess did give a try with grafen diana but grafen diana
15:32it shatters when you take it inside in a ways it shares quite quickly it's not always the most healthy
15:38rose it tends to spend forever in uh in ball and or in budding phase and honestly
15:46deep secret is just the superior grafen diana in every way nearly um it really is um so
15:54yeah guys that was uh what that were the roses i want to highlight for you today
15:59honestly i have so many more here there's multiple uh pages of more roses that got a very high rating
16:09about an eight but these are the ones i really want to highlight because anna purna was simply
16:14amazing on that citrus fragrance also princess alexander renaissance was amazing on that citrus
16:21fragrance and that nuclear unique look well fragrance amazing anna purna amazing really if
16:27there's some roses you had to take away from this rose growing year i just had really think about those
16:34well fragrance anna purna deep secret and these other roses i just mentioned because they are so
16:40amazingly fragrant but yeah guys that was it for this video i'll probably be doing some more videos
16:48but um i'm kind of waiting on um getting a second camera because it is such um it is very
16:57troublesome
16:58when i have to do these videos for you and also film out in the garden because every time i
17:03have to
17:03uh switch up my audio gear and also my camera gear i have to um get the camera connected to
17:11the audio
17:12interface get a dummy battery in and get the hdmi and get it to uh what's the called uh cam
17:20link and a
17:21lot of other things so every time i'm removing my camera to go out and film for you guys it
17:26is such
17:27uh it takes such a long time to get it back in here where i have my main uh studio
17:34that um it is
17:35really hurting my uh production time i think so i'm i've chosen to get another camera and uh hopefully
17:44um soon in the next few weeks i'll have that camera and uh i won't have to worry about switching
17:50constantly and um that's slowing me down uh so but yeah uh hopefully um um that will arrive soon and
18:01i can do some more of these videos in the studio like i'm doing now where i'm showing you these
18:06things
18:06because that is the kind of reason that those kind of videos have been slowing down that's because
18:11every time i remove the camera to go out and film in the garden uh i didn't have to um
18:17set everything
18:18back up inside again and uh that just takes forever so so i hope that in the next few weeks
18:26i'll have
18:26the other camera and the things will really speed up but yeah guys well fragrance and the poor net deep
18:34secret really go check those roses out they're amazing roses and that was it for today
