00:55lead with three minutes you had a momentum with three minutes and Cleveland took it all wiped it
01:03all away and you couldn't regain any of it in the five minutes of overtime I thought the Piston

01:21officials that's how you're supposed to handle this because when you have a nine point lead on

05:38basketball last night was the first time the Cavs looked like the better team the Pistons held
05:44Mitchell and everybody else stepped up for them you know what you're getting with the star Thompson
05:48and and we we didn't get it in game four but for the vast majority of the playoffs you're getting
05:55elite defense Donovan Mitchell ends up with 21 in the entirety of that game that's elite defense by
06:03a star Thompson what you're not getting is what you would expect from Jalen Duren and you haven't
06:11gotten it throughout the entirety of the playoffs that's the deal like the the explicit trade-off
06:17for a star not being able to shoot a jumper reliably is he's going to be the best perimeter defender

06:23planet earth and he was last night and that's the damn shame in all this he shuts down from the

06:28getting in the chest of Donovan Mitchell he was glued to him he's the defensive demon that has been
06:33advertised he gets the stop at the end even though Pistons can't score he's the guy who prevents Mitchell
06:40from icing that game he gets the clamp you know you know he shuts him down and yet we don't

09:20I do think there's something to be said for this team is going to still make Cleveland earn it in
09:23game six and every game in the series has been close yeah I guess game four kind of got squirrely
09:30but yeah I mean they had no chance at the end of that game but the other games have been

09:34close in this so while they're likely not advancing I'm not pronouncing them dead today and I said I
09:41wouldn't after seeing what they did in round one backed into a corner right and I mean we used or
09:47some used the history of the Orlando Magic being down 3-1 Pistons come back and win Pistons also have
09:56a history of winning the first two against Cleveland in the semi-finals Eastern Conference semi-finals
10:02losing the next three and then winning the final two they did that no six so history says it can

10:09done clearly very different teams yeah and we're not sitting here saying that we expect
10:16to win in Cleveland but if you do right back on your home floor in game seven right
