00:00Previously on Seven Little Johnstons.
00:02Which way do you want us to go?
00:03We're going to do it right here.
00:05Bryce asked me if I would allow him to marry Elizabeth.
00:08I was a little nervous because, you know,
00:10it's like a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
00:12And so he asked me, and I was like, yes.
00:14How soon do you want to get married?
00:16We have talked about wanting to do our wedding this year.
00:18This is definitely going to be a quick engagement.
00:20Oh, it'd be funny if we did a wedding in the backyard.
00:23There is an incredible amount of work
00:25to get done before the wedding.
00:32This work has to be done
00:34because the wedding's not going to be put on hold.
00:36Where is your arches going to be?
00:37On top of the hill.
00:38How about you building a platform?
00:40How do we keep this?
00:42They'll keep it, don't touch you, nip it.
00:44There's not a back-it dress,
00:46so there's a lot riding on these alterations.
00:49Bryce has brought up wearing camo a few times.
00:52I like it a lot.
00:53I am not having our wedding
00:55being remembered as some redneck shindig.
01:00We're going to get this rehearsal started.
01:01We all looked for the weather for the big day,
01:04and it showed some light showers, like 12 a.m.
01:07We were like, oh, okay, that's perfectly fine.
01:09It'll dry up afterwards.
01:16We're having issues with golf carts.
01:19It is mud from here to the end of the wedding.
01:21All of this has been ruined within two hours.
01:25I just don't know what's going to happen tomorrow.
01:46We are about five hours away from Elizabeth walking down the aisle,
01:56and about every hour, every two hours, we get a rain shower.
02:04I don't know what to do, but let's get up this hill,
02:07hit these golf carts, get flowers down.
02:11Down in the field right now,
02:12we currently have three vehicles stuck in the mud.
02:18We had one golf cart slide down the trail and hit a tree.
02:21We just might have some, like a car show down there at the wedding,
02:28you know, like a mud bog.
02:34So, because of last night's rain, a bunch of the cars,
02:39the delivery people, the vendors, the flowers,
02:43Jubilee's team pretty much got stuck at the bottom of the field
02:46because they had a hard time coming back up the hill to leave.
02:55Happy wedding day.
02:56It is wet, it is rainy, it is muddy.
02:58I can't wait to see how brown the field looks.
03:00It's going to match all of our colors.
03:02Well, our concern now is golf carts aren't going to get up and down.
03:07But I don't know.
03:08Just seeing the look of my mom's face,
03:11like, I could see the stress on her face,
03:13and I was trying to stay calm for mom,
03:15and I was looking at mom, I'm like,
03:17all right, mom, it's going to be fine.
03:22Having these cars stuck down here in the field around the tent,
03:25unfortunately, I guess we could call it an eyesore.
03:28We're going to do our best to get them out of here,
03:32but, I mean, it's not guaranteed.
03:43We were able to get one car unstuck and out of the field,
03:47but we still have two more,
03:48so we're just going to move forward.
04:02So, a couple of months ago,
04:04we buried a bottle of bourbon in the field
04:07where the wedding is going to be,
04:08and now is the time to dig it up
04:12and hopefully find it.
04:16Are y'all really going to do that,
04:17bury that bottle?
04:18Yeah.
04:19If we dig this up on your wedding day
04:21and it ain't here,
04:23it's out of our hands.
04:25How big did we bury the thing?
04:26Not too deep.
04:27There's a big worm right there.
04:29I don't think this is the spot, honestly.
04:32I thought we were closer to the tree.
04:33Yeah.
04:34Were we?
04:34Yeah.
04:36The bottle was supposed to yield off any bad weather
04:39and rain, specifically, on one's wedding day.
04:42This is going to be fun.
04:43If we find it.
04:44I marked it, but the mark got...
04:47Yeah.
04:48My dad had laid sod and grew grass seed over it,
04:52so the area was kind of, like, revamped.
04:55Because remember, we walked to the fire pit afterwards.
04:57What about right here?
04:58Yeah.
04:59Right there?
05:00Yeah.
05:00Here, kick this dirt back in,
05:01until we...
05:02I mean, I could have sworn it was rain.
05:03Yeah, leave it until we find it, actually.
05:05Digging up the bottle of bourbon on the wedding day
05:07is part of the superstition to bring good weather.
05:11Oh.
05:12No, that's another state right there.
05:14No, that might be it right there.
05:15Or is that a rain?
05:16No way that's it.
05:17Oh.
05:18It's that shallow.
05:20You know, the more I dug,
05:21the more worried I got.
05:22If we didn't find it,
05:23the rain's not going to hold up.
05:25Like, where in the world is this thing?
05:36Of course, you know,
05:38with any big events that the Johnstons hold,
05:42you know, it's stressful.
05:44At least I have my girls here
05:45to try to have some fun
05:47and to get ready
05:48and hopefully enjoy this wedding day.
05:51I just found out I got an inertia school.
05:52Yeah.
05:53Yeah, but now there might be something.
05:56Bryce got happy on Halloween, pretty much.
05:59Because he, I don't know.
06:01What does he want?
06:02Baby?
06:02No, I got to rule something out.
06:04So I was explaining to the girls
06:06that, you know,
06:08Bryce decided to make our Halloween
06:10a happy, happy Halloween
06:13and I could be pregnant.
06:15Does Amber know that?
06:16Yes, yes, yes.
06:17Okay, I was like...
06:18Oh, you bet you're...
06:19She ain't that dumb.
06:21We ain't hiding another one.
06:22She ain't that dumb.
06:24If Liz was pregnant,
06:27I think she'd be happy with it.
06:29We don't know yet.
06:29She doesn't know.
06:30I think it is in the air.
06:33Maybe, possibly.
06:34We've heard some rumors.
06:37So I think she would be definitely happy
06:39if she was.
06:40But if she isn't,
06:41I think also it's just not her time.
06:43So, but I think, yes, possibly.
06:45Maybe.
06:46We'll see.
06:47I don't...
06:48I think this is about as far out as we went.
06:50I mean, where there's no grass,
06:51this is...
06:53I mean,
06:54does it really take this much to dig?
06:58I'll go deeper.
07:02Hell yeah.
07:03There it is.
07:04My God, dude.
07:07So we found the bottle.
07:09Wow.
07:10We were all kind of happy
07:12that it was still in the ground
07:13and then we decided
07:14to, you know,
07:15take a little taste of it.
07:22Weak.
07:23Of course,
07:23it didn't taste the best.
07:25Oh, that's bad.
07:27That is bad.
07:28Oh.
07:30If I do it for my wedding,
07:31we're going to include
07:32a higher shelf
07:34bottle of bourbon
07:36for sure.
07:40Are you getting excited?
07:41Yeah.
07:42No, I am.
07:43How's it looking down in the field,
07:44to be honest with me?
07:45Your dad is
07:46kicking total ass down there.
07:48Is he really?
07:48He literally, like,
07:49pulled an entire vehicle out
07:51with the gator
07:53and a chain.
07:54That's awesome.
07:55He's like,
07:56I turn around,
07:57he's walking around
07:58with a pitchfork.
07:59And I turn around,
08:00he's walking around
08:00with, like, a torch.
08:01I'm like,
08:02Trent, what are you doing?
08:03So funny.
08:04I knew from the beginning,
08:06dad was going to be
08:06the first one up that morning,
08:08doing work,
08:09straightening it up,
08:10helping the vendors,
08:11directing vendors,
08:12even though that's Julie's job.
08:14That is just my dad.
08:15He was the one that helped
08:17get a lot of those cars out.
08:19So without him,
08:21it really would have
08:22went all to
08:23so my dad really did say thanks.
08:35So as soon as I started
08:37putting on my tux,
08:38the more of the feel I got
08:41that it's getting real.
08:43I'm like,
08:44today's the day.
08:46Today's the big day.
08:47And I just feel
08:50like a total different man,
08:52you know,
08:53knowing that I'm going to be
08:55married in a few hours.
08:58You know,
08:59buttoning up Elizabeth's dress
09:00and knowing that Elizabeth
09:02may be pregnant
09:04with our second grandbaby,
09:05there's excitement.
09:06And, you know,
09:07there's a lot of happiness.
09:09Also looking over at,
09:10you know,
09:11our first grandbaby,
09:12Layton,
09:12who's asleep in her little chair
09:14and knowing that,
09:15you know,
09:16we may have
09:16a little second one,
09:18I would be very excited
09:20and happy.
09:20Watching her like that
09:22over there makes me...
09:23Well,
09:24if it is,
09:25it is,
09:26then you can still
09:27get through nursing school
09:29and celebrate.
09:32Finally,
09:33you know,
09:33getting into my dress,
09:34seeing that the dress
09:35fits perfectly,
09:36that it's the right length,
09:37the shoes work,
09:38that I'm happy,
09:40my mom is happy,
09:41everybody's happy.
09:42It was great.
09:45I am pretty excited
09:46for Bryce seeing
09:47in my dress
09:48for the first time.
09:49I think he's going
09:50to be pretty happy.
09:51I just can't wait
09:52to see him.
09:53So,
09:53I'm excited.
09:55I've been waiting
09:57a very long time
09:58for,
10:00to see Elizabeth
10:01in her wedding dress.
10:02And, uh,
10:03just finally knowing
10:05that the time
10:05is going to be here,
10:07it's,
10:08it's going to be
10:09very emotional
10:10for me.
10:11I already know
10:12right off the bat
10:13that there's going
10:14to be some tears.
10:16I know you hear me coming.
10:31I am pretty excited
10:32for Bryce seeing
10:33in my dress
10:34for the first time.
10:35I think he's going
10:36to be pretty happy.
10:37I just can't wait
10:38to see him.
10:39So,
10:39I'm excited.
10:41I've been waiting
10:43a very long time
10:44to see Elizabeth
10:45in her wedding dress.
10:47And, uh,
10:48just finally knowing
10:49that the time
10:50is going to be here,
10:51it,
10:52it's,
10:53it's going to be
10:53very emotional
10:55for me.
10:56I already know
10:57right off the bat
10:58that there's going
10:59to be some tears.
11:00There's going to be tears
11:01and there's going
11:02to be a lot of joy
11:04mixed in with it too.
11:07I know you hear me coming.
11:11Hey, buddy.
11:14Hey.
11:15Don't cry.
11:16You're going to start
11:16making me cry.
11:17I'm trying not to.
11:18Oh, we can't kiss.
11:19We've got to wait.
11:19Hey.
11:20Hey.
11:21Don't cry.
11:22You're going to start
11:23making me cry.
11:23I'm trying not to.
11:25You look so handsome.
11:27You're beautiful.
11:29So, as soon as I saw
11:31Elizabeth
11:32in her dress
11:33for the first time,
11:34I,
11:35my face immediately
11:37just,
11:38like,
11:38changed.
11:39Like,
11:40I started getting
11:41teary-eyed
11:41a little bit
11:42and she looked
11:43very beautiful
11:44and it was just
11:46a beat to the chest.
11:51We made it.
11:52We did.
11:53Mm-hmm.
11:54You ready for this thing?
11:55Josh,
11:55you're very beautiful.
11:58Was it worth the wait?
12:00It was.
12:01Good.
12:02I just can't get over
12:04just how beautiful
12:05she was.
12:06I mean,
12:07she's beautiful
12:08every single day,
12:09but this moment
12:11definitely was,
12:13was different.
12:14It hit me.
12:14It hit me pretty differently.
12:16And then I got closer
12:17when you saw my boobs.
12:18So, I was like,
12:18geez,
12:18he's going to be
12:19looking down my dress
12:20this whole time
12:21during our ceremony.
12:22I mean,
12:22they did look good.
12:24Just going to come down.
12:25Just come down to Maddie
12:26where you can hear her.
12:28After months of prepping
12:29and preparing
12:30and, you know,
12:31doing all the things
12:32with my bridesmaids
12:33and letting them
12:34pick out their dresses,
12:35I am super excited
12:36to see them
12:37in their dresses
12:38and I cannot wait
12:39for them to see
12:40me in mine.
12:41One,
12:42two,
12:43three.
12:45Yeah!
12:49Y'all better not
12:50make me cry.
12:51Emma, don't start crying.
12:52Y'all look so pretty.
12:54Well, if you cry,
12:54I cry.
12:55The girls look wonderful
12:57in their dresses.
12:57I think they did
12:58a fabulous job
13:00with picking their style
13:01and watching them
13:03with their flowers, too.
13:04It just brought
13:05my imagination to life.
13:07You can look at her,
13:08babe.
13:08It's okay.
13:09I am feeling,
13:10you know,
13:11a little less worried
13:12now that the wedding dress
13:13is on
13:13and the weather
13:14is looking good.
13:15I'm thinking,
13:16all right,
13:16maybe we will
13:17be able to have
13:17the ceremony outside.
13:19It might be a little wet,
13:20but we're going
13:21to get it done.
13:22Look, girl.
13:23Look, who's that?
13:23So the next time
13:24Bryce and I
13:25will see each other
13:26is when I'll be
13:27walking down the aisle.
13:30All right, guys,
13:31look here.
13:33Daddy,
13:33I'm going to have you
13:33come over here
13:34and stand beside Jonah.
13:36Perfect.
13:37Right over left
13:38or left over right?
13:39Left over right.
13:55I just got stung
13:56on you.
13:56Dad, I'm going to take it.
13:57Oh, my God.
13:58He just got stung
13:59by a yellow jacket.
14:00On his tongue?
14:01Yeah.
14:01And you have to
14:02give a speech to me.
14:04And then Dad got stung
14:05by a yellow jacket
14:06on his tongue.
14:07And this is the last
14:08true big Johnston
14:10show that's going on
14:11before I walk down
14:13that aisle
14:13to become a Bolden.
14:15Oh,
14:18Aunt Sandy,
14:19this is my bourbon.
14:20Aunt Sandy pulled
14:21the stinger out of my tongue.
14:22Hopefully things
14:23will definitely
14:23take a turn
14:24for the better
14:24because right now
14:25this sink is shipping
14:27in the mud.
14:4420 minutes out.
14:45Guests are arriving.
14:48The ceremony
14:49and reception site
14:50look amazing.
14:51It is absolutely perfect.
14:53You know,
14:54we're dealing with
14:54a little bit of
14:55Mother Nature
14:56on the ground.
14:57So we've got some mud
14:58going on.
14:58But I think
14:59everybody's just
14:59embracing it.
15:00We're on time.
15:02Always with us.
15:03And we're going to
15:04have a beautiful day.
15:07All right.
15:08Who remembers
15:09who's first?
15:18I love you bunches.
15:19I love you.
15:21It's starting to
15:23sink in that,
15:25you know,
15:25our first child
15:26is getting married.
15:27Over the last
15:27four months,
15:28I knew this day
15:29would be here
15:29and I knew
15:30this day
15:30would be here soon
15:31and today's the day
15:32and it's a wonderful,
15:34happy feeling.
15:35It's an emotional feeling
15:36and we'll never
15:37have this moment again.
15:46Take a napkin off the table.
15:48Watching the girls
15:49walk down the aisle,
15:50I'm feeling the emotions
15:52build up.
15:52This is it.
15:54Y'all are about to
15:55make her cry.
15:56And I'm about to
15:57walk down the aisle
15:58to officially become
15:59Miss Bolden.
16:00It's definitely hitting me
16:02that this is my last day
16:04of being a Johnston.
16:11Please stand.
16:19I am super thankful
16:21that the skies
16:22have opened up
16:23just in time
16:23for the ceremony
16:24to begin.
16:25I was very happy
16:27and I tell people
16:28having our wedding
16:29at my parents' house,
16:31this is where Bryce
16:31and I, you know,
16:32this is where it happened.
16:33This is where
16:34it all began
16:35for Bryce and me.
16:36Bryce and Liz,
16:38are we still
16:39friends?
16:43Oh, here we go.
16:44Oh, snap.
16:45We caught a lot
16:46more branches
16:46than we did actual fish.
16:47But it was great.
16:49You look amazing.
16:50Thanks.
16:50You do, too.
16:51You look sharp.
16:52How was the kiss?
16:53The kiss was great.
16:54It's been a while.
16:55It's been a while,
16:56so it was great.
16:56Just candy and popcorn
16:57and stuff.
16:58Nice.
16:59So it makes me feel
17:00pretty happy
17:00he put this much thought
17:01into our two-year anniversary.
17:03Aw, this is awesome.
17:05I'm glad.
17:06Mm-hmm.
17:07Now we're parents.
17:09Now we have a house.
17:10So there's been
17:10a lot of changes
17:12and a lot of great things.
17:14We are getting married.
17:15Holy crap, we're engaged.
17:17We started here
17:18as neighborhood
17:19high school kids,
17:20and now we're about
17:21to be husband and wife.
17:29I love you, Dad.
17:30I love you, baby.
17:33As me and my dad
17:34are standing under the tent
17:35before we walk out
17:37into the ceremony,
17:38all the emotions
17:39were just kind of,
17:40I guess, starting to hit.
17:40And I know this is
17:41a big moment for him.
17:42This is a big moment for me.
17:44I'm physically
17:45four foot,
17:46three inches tall,
17:46but today,
17:48the proudness,
17:49you know,
17:49it makes me ten foot tall.
17:51And I can't be more proud
17:54or more excited
17:54for Bryce and Elizabeth
17:55and Layton.
17:57Please stand.
18:05walking down towards Bryce,
18:06it just kind of makes you
18:07sit there and think,
18:08like, this is it.
18:09This is who we've got
18:10for the rest of our life.
18:12And this is, you know,
18:13us officially making
18:14the commitment to,
18:16you know,
18:17spending our lives
18:18with each other.
18:19And I could not have,
18:21you know,
18:22been paired
18:22with a better partner.
18:27This is the first wedding
18:29for both of us,
18:31for our children.
18:32You know,
18:32there are a lot of emotions.
18:33Like, oh my God,
18:34it's finally here
18:35and I can just let go.
18:39Please be seated.
18:41Right as soon as I saw
18:42Elizabeth walking down the aisle,
18:44I immediately started crying
18:46like that and there.
18:47It just hit me that quick.
18:49Just that one moment
18:51right there,
18:51it just hit me.
18:53Like,
18:54it's a feeling
18:55I've never had before.
18:56It was,
18:57and I'm just like,
18:58I'm just a blessed man,
19:00super lucky guy.
19:01Friends,
19:02we are gathered here today
19:03in the sight of God
19:05to witness
19:05and to bless
19:07the joining together
19:08of Elizabeth
19:09Renee Johnston
19:10and Coleman

19:14Elizabeth,
19:15will you have Bryce
19:17to be your husband,
19:18to live together
19:19in holy marriage?
19:20Will you love him,

19:23honor and keep him,
19:25honor and keep him,
19:25in sickness and in health,
19:27and forsaking all others,
19:29be faithful to him
19:30as long as you both shall live?

19:34Bryce,
19:35will you have Elizabeth
19:37to be your wife,
19:38to live together
19:39in holy marriage?

19:43honor and keep her,
19:45in sickness and in health,
19:47and forsaking all others,
19:49be faithful to her
19:51as long as you both
19:52shall live?
19:52I will.
19:54Who now presents
19:56Elizabeth to be wed?
19:57Her mother and I.
19:59Thanks, Jeff.
20:01And now,
20:02this couple has chosen
20:04what I deem
20:06an extremely beautiful
20:07and dangerous act.
20:09They have written
20:10their own vows.
20:11So,
20:12I'm gonna ask for Elizabeth
20:15to share her words
20:17of promise with Bryce.
20:22Bryce,
20:23our love began so naturally.
20:25Just two kids
20:26who happened to go
20:27to the same school,
20:28lived in the same neighborhood,
20:29and to top it off
20:30on the same street
20:31just three houses away.
20:33I guess you could say
20:34we hit the jackpot.
20:36From those first shy hangouts
20:38to the beautiful life
20:39we've built,
20:39the home,
20:40the laughter,
20:41and our greatest blessing,
20:43our sweet little girl,
20:44our daughter,
20:45Leighton.
20:46Watching you with her
20:47amazes me
20:47in ways I can't even describe.
20:49You're patient,
20:50kind,
20:51humble,
20:52everything a little girl
20:53could dream of
20:54ever of in a father,
20:56and everything I could
20:58ever dream of
20:58in a husband.
20:59You make our family
21:00feel safe,
21:01steady,
21:01and full of love,
21:02and I'll never stop
21:03being grateful
21:04that she gets to grow up
21:05with you as her dad,
21:06and I get to grow old
21:08with you as my husband.
21:10You know,
21:10it started
21:11in the neighborhood.
21:13You know,
21:13we've been together
21:15this long,
21:16and now he's showing
21:17how much, you know,
21:19that she loves me,
21:20and how blessed we are
21:21to have our baby girl
21:22with us.
21:23I adore you
21:24more and more every day,
21:25and I'm so proud
21:26of the man
21:27that you've become.
21:28You're my best friend,
21:28my safe place,
21:30and my favorite person
21:31to laugh with
21:32when things don't go
21:33as planned,
21:34which, let's be honest,
21:35is pretty often.
21:36So today,
21:37I promise to keep loving you
21:39like I always have,
21:40with lots of patience,
21:41laughter, faith,
21:42and with the same spark
21:43that just started
21:44three houses away.
21:46I promise to stand by you
21:47in every season,
21:48to celebrate every victory,
21:50and to always remember
21:51that our love story
21:52is my favorite one of all.
21:54I love you.
21:57We've been together
21:58this long,
21:58and now, you know,
21:59we're parents,
22:01and it's just
22:02a total different world now,
22:03and it's something,
22:04you know,
22:05it's something
22:05that we've always dreamed of.
22:08Elizabeth,
22:09from the first time
22:10we really talked
22:10after I finally got
22:12the courage
22:12to message you
22:13and then talk to you
22:14at school,
22:15I knew there was
22:16something special about you.
22:18You were beautiful,
22:19funny,
22:20stubborn in the best way,
22:22and had this happiness
22:23that pulled me in.
22:24Who would have thought
22:25that life had a plan
22:26bigger than either of us
22:28could have imagined?
22:29But it did,
22:30and I'm so thankful
22:31that it led me
22:32straight to you.
22:34Reciting my vows
22:34to Elizabeth,
22:35I was super,
22:37super nervous.
22:38And the day
22:38we became parents
22:39to our sweet little girl,
22:40Layton,
22:41my heart found
22:42a new kind of love.
22:43But I was also
22:46very pleased,
22:47happy,
22:47excited at the same time
22:49to get to
22:49say this to her.
22:51Watching you be her mom
22:53has been the greatest
22:54blessing of my life.
22:55You're patient,
22:56loving,
22:57and selfless
22:58in every way.
23:00You make everything
23:01feel like home
23:02for me
23:03and for her.
23:05You've given our daughter
23:06the best example
23:07of what love looks like.
23:08And I'll spend my life
23:10making sure she grows up
23:11knowing how much
23:12her daddy adores her mama.
23:14You're my best friend,
23:16my fishing and hunting partner,
23:18and my forever person.
23:21There's no one else.
23:23I'd rather get up
23:24early with
23:25just to sit
23:25in the quiet
23:26by the water.
23:27No one else
23:28I'd rather laugh with
23:29when things go as planned.
23:31And no one else
23:31I'd rather come home to
23:32at the end of every day.
23:35Having Layton
23:35be a part of our vows,
23:36it really was
23:38the icing on the cake
23:38for me.
23:39I mean,
23:40I will never forget that
23:41for the rest of our life.
23:43It's like we really
23:43allowed her to be a part
23:45of every part
23:45of our wedding.
23:46And I loved it.
23:48To make you laugh
23:49when life feels heavy.
23:51to protect this love
23:52we've built
23:54and to always cherish
23:56the beautiful life
23:57we've created together.
23:59Bryce,
24:00if you would repeat
24:01after me.
24:01Yes, sir.
24:02Elizabeth,
24:03I give you this ring.
24:04Elizabeth,
24:05I give you this ring.
24:06As a sign of my vow.
24:07As a sign of my vow.
24:08And with all that I am.
24:10With all that I am.
24:11And all that I have.
24:12And all that I have.
24:13I honor you.
24:14I honor you.
24:15And if you put the ring
24:17on my face.
24:17Bye, bye.
24:21You can hold her
24:22if you want to.
24:24Ring her.
24:30If you would face
24:31the congregation.
24:34Now that Bryce
24:35and Elizabeth
24:36have given themselves
24:37to each other
24:38by solemn vows
24:39with the joining of hands
24:41and the giving
24:42and receiving of rings,
24:43I announce to you
24:44with great, great pleasure,
24:46I present Mr.
24:48and Miss Bryce Bolden.
24:50Sir, you may kiss the bride.
24:58As soon as they
24:59declared us
25:01Mr. and Mrs. Bolden
25:03and now we're
25:04the Bolden family
25:05and I feel like it,
25:07you know,
25:07it all came together
25:09like it should.
25:20I loved their ceremony.
25:22I loved every part of it.
25:23I liked Liz and Bryce's vows.
25:25I thought they were very sweet
25:26and the fact that
25:26they wrote their own ones.
25:27And I thought in general
25:28everything was great.
25:30Ready?
25:30Late and ready?
25:31Woo-wee!
25:32I feel like the ceremony
25:35turned out
25:36absolutely beautiful.
25:38The, you know,
25:38skies open up,
25:40the sun,
25:41of course a little humidity,
25:43but hey.
25:44Humidity
25:46trumps
25:47rain showers.
26:03Gosh, I've been looking
26:04forward to this
26:04for so long.
26:06So when I went
26:07tuck shopping,
26:09I got to try
26:10on a camo vest
26:12and I absolutely loved it.
26:14The men on the couches
26:15want to know
26:15how do you like it?
26:16I like it a lot.
26:17I don't.
26:18Like, this,
26:19this is me.
26:20We're not doing camo.
26:22Liz said that she canceled
26:24the camo vest order,
26:27but I was like,
26:28I'm still getting this thing.
26:29So I got in touch
26:31with the people,
26:32said, hey,
26:33put my camouflage vest
26:35in that bag
26:36and give it to me
26:37because I'm going to,
26:39I'm going to wear this thing.
26:43Sweet.
26:45All right,
26:45where's that jacket?
26:47I decided to keep it a secret
26:49and surprise Elizabeth
26:50on our wedding day.
26:52And I know she's going to be
26:54like, what the heck
26:56at first,
26:57but I'm going to have
26:58to get her
26:58to like it
27:00as much as possible.
27:01Oh, wow.
27:03Look at me.
27:03So Liz sees Bryce
27:04in the camo
27:05and she was definitely
27:06like kind of pissed.
27:08Are you kidding me?
27:10I'm going to kill you.
27:22I'm going to kill you.
27:25Sweet.
27:26So Elizabeth made it clear
27:28that she did not want me
27:29to wear any camouflage
27:31in the wedding.
27:33Oh, wow.
27:34But, you know,
27:35on the other hand,
27:36I'm like, no,
27:37I'm going to make it happen.
27:38There's going to be
27:39some way that
27:40I put camouflage
27:43into the wedding.
27:44Are you kidding me?
27:46So I did everything
27:47in my power
27:48to get rid of that
27:49camo vest
27:50for the wedding.
27:51And I feel like
27:52it's just something
27:53that will haunt me
27:54for the rest of my life.
27:55Baby, I didn't...
27:56Hell no, it wasn't.
27:57I thought I hid that.
27:58I didn't wear it
27:59during the ceremony.
28:01That's badass.
28:03Surprisingly,
28:04when Elizabeth saw
28:05my camo vest,
28:07she just kind of
28:08smiled at me
28:09and, you know,
28:10kind of looked away
28:11for a minute,
28:12but then she looked
28:13back at me
28:13and just kept smiling.
28:15I'm like...
28:16Because it was just
28:17like one of those
28:18smiles like,
28:19damn it,
28:19you did it.
28:20Oh, hell yeah.
28:21That's awesome.
28:22It doesn't look bad
28:23at all.
28:23That's awesome.
28:25Bryce,
28:25not Bryce,
28:26Liz,
28:26there could be
28:26much worse.
28:27It could be
28:28like the fake camo.
28:33Good evening,
28:34everyone.
28:34If you haven't
28:35had a chance yet,
28:36please find your seat,
28:38take your seat.
28:39As we get things
28:40moving along,
28:40we'll be introducing
28:42the bridal party
28:43and the newlyweds.
28:44It's time to start
28:45the reception
28:46and just have some fun.
28:53Bryce's older brother,
28:54Trey,
28:55and Jonah,
28:56all the boys
28:56did pretty good,
28:57but Trey stripped
28:58off his jacket
28:59and started kind of
29:00swinging it around
29:01like a stripper.
29:02And that was
29:02pretty good.
29:05The girls did good
29:06as well.
29:07And the fact
29:07that each of,
29:08you know,
29:09our bridesmaids
29:09and groomsmen
29:10had fun with it.
29:11We're going to do
29:12something new with
29:13Mr.
29:14and Mrs.
29:15Morena.
29:22Bryce and the Camo Vest.
29:24I guess it was
29:25kind of cool
29:25because it did
29:27ramp up the crowd
29:28a little bit
29:30with them seeing
29:31Bryce change.
29:32Typically,
29:33they expect,
29:34like,
29:34the bride doing
29:35a dress change,
29:35and I'm sure
29:37nobody was expecting
29:38this out of Bryce
29:39because I sure wasn't.
29:41Let's keep our eyes
29:42on the dance floor
29:43as they share
29:44their first dance.
29:52We did take a dance
29:54lesson to see
29:55what we could do
29:55to, you know,
29:57spice up
29:57and make our
29:58first dance
29:59as a married couple,
30:01you know,
30:01something a little
30:02more special.
30:02I would say
30:03our dance lesson
30:05at the studio,
30:07it was stressful.
30:09Too wide,
30:10too wide,
30:11too wide.
30:11You're going out.
30:12I can't,
30:14he can't accept
30:14criticisms.
30:15We would get
30:16mad at each other
30:17when we would,
30:18like,
30:19mess up something.
30:21Uh-oh.
30:22Are we choreographed it?
30:24Girl, since I met you,
30:26nothing's been the same.
30:33Just don't pick up.
30:45Being neighbors
30:46three doors away,
30:47and we fast forward
30:48seven years later,
30:49Bryce is in our field
30:51on the river
30:51marrying my daughter,
30:53and it's great.
30:55It's, it's their story.
30:56It's their love story.
31:00Dancing as husband
31:01and wife for the first time,
31:02it went pretty well.
31:03I was worried about him
31:04because he was so nervous
31:06with, you know,
31:06dancing in front
31:07of all these people.
31:09But once he literally
31:10saw that it's just
31:11our family members
31:13and our closest friends,
31:14he was okay,
31:15and he was more
31:15comfortable and happy,
31:17and even though
31:18maybe that camel vest
31:19kind of gave him
31:20that confidence, too,
31:21he did very well.
31:23Now, how about
31:24a round of applause
31:25for our new way of it.
31:29So, after
31:30Moon and Elizabeth
31:31danced together
31:32as husband and wife,
31:34now it's time
31:35for the father-daughter dance
31:37with me and Layton.
31:41Precious.
31:48so even though people can tell us that we went the non-traditional way of having a child
31:53before getting married um we kind of see it as a privilege and an honor because layton got to be
32:00a
32:00part of our wedding day and she gets to keep a video for the rest of her life that uh
32:05her daddy
32:06shared his first dance with her on our wedding day this is how i dreamed it to be
32:16gosh it was almost a mirror image to see that activity with layton in the ceremony when
32:25i got married with laurie it was amber and laurie that i fell in love with they were they were
32:32together
32:33when i first met them and when we got married amber was just as excited and it brought back a
32:40lot of
32:40memories it really did
32:53one more round of applause
33:07mr trink johnson got a few words
33:13good evening everyone hope everybody's enjoying this evening giving my father the bride speech it's a proud
33:20moment you know this is a time to be able to share and reflect um about bryce and elizabeth
33:28love shows up in many ways helping each other working together praising one another for their
33:33accomplishments and even telling each other thank you is an important show of love
33:40i love all three of you big time our loved ones put a lot of thought into their speeches advice
33:48to y'all
33:49now that you're married is to still date know that you've always got babysitters we'll take her
33:56fishing but no worries we'll make sure she only holds the worms that she doesn't eat the worms
34:03and it definitely warmed my heart
34:22okay so it's about to be party time so after the cake we are moving on to the garter toss
34:28so let's get this thing started and bryce said he had a little plan up his sleep
34:37so when i saw bryce bring out the fishing pole i was like oh my gosh what if the hook
34:42like cuts lizzie's leg or something like this is this could go wrong and maybe not the best idea
35:02so after the cake we are moving on to the garter toss so let's get this thing started and bryce
35:08said
35:08he had a little plan up his sleep
35:13i started kind of getting the idea on what bryce wanted to do with the fishing pole
35:18but it was more of man is this thing going to really work or not
35:39and he tied it on and then he acted like he was reeling in a big fish
35:47when i set the hook and i'm trying to you know get the garter off elizabeth i was kind of
35:54struggling
35:59so i ended up going like this so yeah she ended up and it like slung
36:08the joke in the family is that i'm the next in line to get married i'm already
