I share a possible predictive easter egg to 1987 action (arm wrestling) film Over The Top. You can see this via 1983 science fiction film Space Raiders & in the original Star Wars (1977).
- I noticed some similarities in the space ship design in Space Raiders to other American sci-fi films. Research into this confirmed some of the models in Roger Corman's Battle Beyond The Stars (1980) were indeed reused. Director James Cameron (The Terminator) designed some ships in that movie, he later worked with Stallone, co-writing the screenplay for Rambo: First Blood Part II in 1986.
- One reused spacecraft seen at the 19 minute mark (called the "Hammerhead" in Battle Beyond The Stars) has an overall shape & hollow area similar to the shuttle / docking bay of the Imperial Star Destroyer seen in the opening scene of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977).
- David Mendenhall (as a young boy) stars in Space Raiders & later joined Sylvester Stallone in the cast of Over The Top.
- I also thought an uncredited actor in the opening sequence of the original Star Wars may resemble Sylvester Stallone. He's one of the rebel / guard who run down the corridor (second group of men, on the left hand side) of the Blockade Runner / Tantive IV. You can make out his face very briefly.

00:00We're talking about knowledge of the future in movies, YouTube channel, Easter Egg Psychic.
00:05Alright, in this video I'll show an interesting feature Easter egg to the 1987 arm wrestling action drama Over the
00:15Top.
00:15This connects to two earlier science fiction films that Roger Corman produced, Space Raiders in 1983, and the original Star
00:26Wars.
00:26George Lucas' epic, Episode 4, A New Hope, 1977.
00:33So I was watching Space Raiders recently.
00:36This features a cast with Vince Edwards, David Mendenhall, Patsy Pease, George Dickerson, Dick Miller, and William Boyett.
00:44So yeah, one thing you'll notice in Space Raiders, if you know American sci-fi movies,
00:50there are a lot of similar spaceship designs and some set elements.
00:56Apparently, it's been acknowledged that set pieces and ship models were reused from Roger Corman's Battle Beyond the Stars in
01:061980.
01:07Interesting note, movie director James Cameron designed some of the models used on Battle Beyond the Stars.
01:16And James Cameron also wrote the screenplay for the 1985 war action film Rambo vs. Blood Part II, along with
01:26Sylvester Stallone.
01:28A starship that has a long flyby sequence at around 19 minutes, 20 seconds, and it runs about 40 seconds.
01:38I believe this is called the Hammerhead, and it was also used in Battle Beyond the Stars.
01:45The back end of this ship caught my attention because I recognized this as a very similar design to the
01:54Imperial Star Destroyer shown in the opening sequence of Star Wars 77.
02:02A distinguishing feature that you can see on both ships, note the shuttle bay or docking bay.
02:11In Space Raiders, it's a little bit different, but it was enough of a similarity to catch my attention.
02:19But now David Mendenhall played Peter in Space Raiders, and he was later in Over the Top in 1987.
02:26With Stallone, this film was directed by Menahem Golan.
02:31In the cast, you'll find Robert Loggia, Susan Blakely, Rick Zumwalt, Terry Funk, Jimmy Keegan, Alan Graff.
02:38Both of these items made me think of something else I noticed in the opening scenes of Star Wars.
02:47The Rebel Guards that engage in the shootout with the Imperial Stormtroopers on the Blockade Runner or Tantive IV.
02:56I thought one of the Rebel Guard may resemble Sylvester Stallone.
03:01He's definitely not credited as having appeared in the original Star Wars.
03:06The first group of Rebel Defenders that can be seen running through the passageway, they're two by two.
03:13He's on the left-hand side, the second group of guys.
03:19Yeah, you can't see his face very clearly for long.
03:22My YouTube channel is Easter Egg Psychic.
03:24There I go back and look at movies and television from the past.
03:28I analyze these for possible references to future media.
03:31These may appear in the form of anecdotes, idioms, anagrams.
03:35Hidden in the subtext of the work in question,
03:38I also use an unconventional method where I look at the likenesses of the actors.
03:45What I found is you can take the likenesses, match these up to some of the anecdotal items,
03:50and show past, present, and future information about actors and other personalities
03:56that may resemble the personalities in the movie or television episode that you're watching.

04:10Thanks for watching.
