00:00Clap one, down, two, look, three, hit, four, and five, clean, six. Gotta love having all this
00:06volume of hair. Hi Refinery29, it's me Morgan Seminary here from the Netflix show Cheer It.
00:17I'm not sure about you guys, but I've been binge watching lots of Netflix shows and catching up on
00:21some TikTok challenges, which brings me to this TikTok challenge that I'll be teaching you guys
00:25today. And shout out to Dalston for giving us this amazing choreography that helped us win
00:29Daytona. Choreography is a little bit complicated. I struggle with it a lot, but one thing that does
00:38help me when I'm learning things is instead of taking it by counts, I take it by what the action
00:43is. So if I'm punching and punching. So today when I'm teaching you this routine, I will also be using
00:48eight counts as well as counting out the different motions by what the action is. All you need for
00:53this video is yourself and some space. So make sure that you move your cat, your donkey, and your alpaca
00:57so you have lots of room to do this.
01:01Here's the first eight count, slow down. So first you're going to clap one,
01:06going to go down two, and then you're going to step over, and you're going to keep your left foot
01:11on the
01:11ground and put your right one behind it. Punch your arm out this way and look that way, and then
01:16you're
01:16going to hit four, and then you're going to bend five, six, seven, eight. Okay, so we're going to be
01:23learning it at half speed now. Ready? And five, six, seven, eight. Clap one, down two, over three, four, bend
01:31five, cling six.
01:37So now we're going to move on to the second eight count. So basically you're going to start with your
01:40left foot forward, and you're going to pop your front knee. Then you put your hand on your hip,
01:44and then you're going to do a snap and look at the side. In the second motion, you're going to
01:48pony to
01:48your other foot, put this hand behind your head. This one's still staying in the same place.
01:52And then after that, you're going to move to the third count, and you're going to put your front arm
01:56forward, put your rings, put your hand on your arm, and then you're still going to have this foot pop
02:01forward. Then after that, you're just going to clean. All right, we've gone through it slow, so now we're
02:06going to speed it up a little bit. Ready? And five, six, seven, eight. Hit one, two, three, clean four.
02:15So now that we've learned the second half, we're going to go back and do the first half at half
02:19speed
02:19with the second half included. Ready? And five, six, seven, eight. Clap one, down two,
02:26three, hit four, bend five, clean six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four. Now that we've
02:34run at a slower pace, we've sped it up a little bit, now it's time to go full out. You
02:38guys
02:38ready? Five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, look four, five, six, seven, eight. One, two,
02:47three, four, five, six, seven, eight. You guys did it. Congratulations.
03:02Okay, so here's some real talk for you guys. I know choreography can be hard at times, but
03:06if you keep practicing and you're very determined, you'll get there. Thank you guys so much for
03:10hanging out with me today. I hope you guys are staying safe and healthy, and I cannot wait
03:13to see your guys' videos. Feel free to tag me in them so I can watch. Bye!
03:16Bye!
