00:46You have a ton of stuff under your bed.
00:48It's definitely overflowing and I feel like it's this and then just continued under there.

00:55So under my bed functions as all of my storage space.
00:59So I have like a dresser and I have a hanging rack.
01:02I have all of my like makeup, all my hair stuff.
01:06Shoes.
01:07All of my bags.
01:08And soccer ball.
01:08And sheets and towels.
01:10Why do I have so many pairs of slippers?
01:11I decided that I wanted to craft and then just gave up on that.

01:26So how is everything stored under your bed?

01:29So I have duffel bags.
01:31I have a suitcase.

01:35Like do you have easy access a little bit to some things that you need?
01:39My system that I have in place now is that all the stuff at the foot of the bed are

01:44that I'll use like daily or weekly.
01:46Things that I use on maybe a monthly basis are easy access on this side of the bed.
01:51More seasonal shoes.
01:53My random ski bag that like lives in the back corner.
01:57I also have a little window sill right next to my bed and I take a little standing mirror
02:02and I'll put that on the window sill.
02:05I'll take all my beauty products.
02:06I'll put it on the bed.
02:07Another problem is that I have a headboard but then my wall is not flat.
02:12So there's kind of this like magical dumping ground that exists back there.
02:16I'll just be like, oh, I have a bag of stuff that I might need sometime.

02:31My first thing that I see is this funny looking device.
02:36We have a rogue eye shadow palette which worries me.

02:49And it just keeps going until just darkness.
02:59For Sloane's under bed, it's really a matter of finding a new home for all of her everyday items.
03:05So she's not constantly pulling things out from underneath.
03:08So everything that will be under her bed are things she doesn't use often.
03:12And everything that's out will be everyday items.

03:15So I am back and I've brought some organizing solutions for you.
03:20But before we start, we got to take everything out, put it in your living room.

05:13We've taken all of the clothing off of your existing rack and put it on your bed.
05:18Let's separate your clothing by season.
05:20Summer clothing will go back under your bed and winter clothing will stay out.

05:48I've made it through three winters without my gloves.
05:56We can finally move everything back into your room.
05:58So we've sorted through all your winter clothes.
06:01So now we're going to put them on your new rack.

06:05What's so great about this rack is that it has extra storage.
06:08So we can highlight some of your favorite shoes and purses on the side shelves.
06:12And then the rest of your winter shoes can go on the bottom shelf.
06:16For your makeup, I got this amazing clear acrylic organizer.
06:20This will keep your makeup safe, clean, and easy to find.
06:24I also got this super sleek LED light mirror.
06:28So you can do your makeup right here instead of at your windowsill.
06:31Okay, so now we're going to put everything back under your bed.
06:34First, the row near your headboard.
06:36Let's start with putting your duffel bag with ski gear and your suitcase in the back since you don't use
06:41them as often.
06:42And then in front of that will go your linens, which are now in this new storage bag,
06:46which I love because it has handles so you can easily pull it out.
06:51Next is the row at the base of your bed.
06:53And I got this really cool shoe organizer that not only has divided compartments,
06:57it also has a clear top so you can see where everything is.
07:01And then in front of your shoes, we'll put this storage bag full of all of your summer clothing.
07:07Finally, at the base of your bed will be these baskets.
07:10One with medicine, one with electronics, and one with backup skincare and beauty products.
07:21Now I'm going to make everyone come over and I'm going to be like, look under my bed.
07:25Lastly, the nook.
07:26Since we moved your bed to the other side of the room, now you have way easier access to it.
07:31I got these tall and narrow hampers that fit perfectly into the nook.
07:38I can't believe that you were able to take all of the just like junk and madness and organize it.
07:45Like every single thing has a home now.
07:54The new hanging rack is my absolute favorite.
07:59If I have to look at my stuff, why not highlight it in like a really beautiful way?
08:09I think we ended up with three bags to donate, a few bags to recycle, a bag full of TerraCycling.
08:15So it's just a lot more spacious under your bed.
