00:55The first time she came out, she came out as a gay man.
00:57The second time she came out as a trans woman.
00:59And the third time she came out as a gay woman.
01:02So I'm looking to learn from Gigi on how to be vulnerable online and not let the haters get to

01:09So tell me, how did you start on the internet?
01:12What was that experience like?
01:13Honestly, I can't even remember my life without the internet.
01:16It's been like almost eight years now, and after I was done with my transition,
01:19I was kind of just like, I have all of this footage that can probably help some people out there
01:24because you have so many questions, you don't know who to talk to.
01:27Some people have nobody to talk to.
01:29Every single situation, was it getting easier for you to be more personal and opening up about things?
01:33Coming out as trans was definitely one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
01:36I want to be female.
01:38I have felt for a very long time now that I was a girl trapped inside of a boy's body.
01:44I am transgender.
01:45But, you know, along the way, you know, you find out different things about yourself,
01:49and I think it becomes more exciting because it's like I'm literally being the most authentic me that I can
01:54be,
01:54and you wake up with less worry in your heart and less weight on your shoulders.
01:58In your own words, what is an internet troll?
02:00Somebody who just trolls and lurks online like a fucking leech at the depths of the ocean.
02:07Honestly, I feel like I've, like, built such a thick skin.
02:10Like, anyone can say anything to me because I've heard it a thousand million times.
02:15So I took to social media to see if anyone had any personal questions that they've been itching to ask

02:28How does it feel to know that you're a role model to so many people?
02:31Ooh, me or you?

02:34It's a lot of pressure.
02:35Role model kind of, like, stresses me out that word a little bit sometimes
02:38because I'm not trying to, like, know everything or, like, pretend that I know things that I don't.
02:43I think that that's where you get into, like, sticky situations with, like, politics and all that nasty stuff, so.
02:47Yeah, it's the same kind of thing.
02:48It's like, I wouldn't consider myself, like, a role model, but I understand.

02:52In a way, yeah.
02:53Because by just living my life and just, like, not, you know, being tied down by my insecurities,
02:58that's in itself being a role model because so many people just, like, it's instilled in you,
03:02especially as, like, young women, to hate yourself.
03:04Like, you're supposed to hate yourself.
03:05You let it affect you every single day.

03:08And that's a whole thing that you have to work on in yourself.

03:19I always, like, look through my requests but never accept it because I'm scared of, like, what would happen.

03:33What I learned from Gigi Gorgeous is being your authentic self on the internet can get negative feedback,

03:44So I just had to woman up and just take ownership for my true self on the internet
03:47and not care about what these fuckers say.
04:09Managing your online presence is a must, but it's not as hard as it seems.
