00:20In that culture, as long as you have those,
00:23then you're considered beautiful.

00:28I call this Nose 2.0.
00:29I remember one specific relative, she would go,
00:34oh, it's such a shame that you have that nose.
00:37You would be so pretty without it.
00:40It was battle of basically me hating my culture.
00:45So, when I was younger, makeup was definitely a mask for me.
00:49It was for me to hide my acne.
00:50It was for me to hide my insecurities.
00:52And now that I'm older, it's just a form for me
00:55to express myself.
00:59When I discovered circle lenses,
01:02and it actually makes your eye look a lot bigger,
01:05it's kind of a way for me to feel confident in myself.
01:12Self-care is just so important to me.
01:13I feel like if you don't take care of yourself,
01:16then you won't feel good about yourself,
01:17and you won't be able to project that goodness to other people.

01:22I'm very proud of the community that I built.
01:25When I have all of this on right now,
01:27I obviously feel like I can rule the world,
01:29but I can also do it without my makeup on.
