01:14We need to take this to Africa in the 1960s.

01:18Oswald Spencer, an aristocratic and visionary scientist,
01:21Edward Ashford and Dr. James Marcus.
01:23This trio is what local tribes in West Africa call the sun steps.
01:27While exploring underground caves, they came across an extremely rare flower.
01:31This flower was no ordinary plant.
01:33It brought death to the person who ate it, either in unbearable agony or otherwise.
01:36Or it radically altered their genetic makeup, bestowing extraordinary physical strength and an extended lifespan.
01:42They named the active ingredient inside the progenitor virus, meaning ancestral virus.
01:46This was the trio's shared dream.
01:47To save humanity from its weak and flawed state, to create a superior, evolved race through a virus.
01:53To conduct these studies secretly and to secure funding
01:56They founded one of the world's most renowned biotechnology companies.
01:59Ambrella Corporation.
02:00From the outside, Ambrella appears to be a company that develops pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and health products.
02:04He looked like a benevolent giant.
02:06But behind the scenes, the situation was completely different.
02:08This underground facility was actually a center for the production of biological weapons.
02:12It was not a beacon of goodness, but a factory of death.
02:14Over time, the balance between the three of them began to break down.
02:17Edward Ashford has passed away.
02:19A silent but ruthless power struggle erupted between Spencer and Marcus for control of the company.
02:26Throughout this process, Dr. Marcus did not stop.
02:28Marcus, who blended the progenitor virus with leech DNA,

03:31The youngest member of the team is 18-year-old healthcare worker Rebecca Chambers,
03:35In the middle of the deserted forest, he encountered an extremely luxurious but extremely eerie train.
03:39The Elliptic Express. The train was carrying Umbrella employees.
03:43Or at least it used to. Inside, it was now a veritable slaughterhouse.
03:47All the passengers had been exposed to the T virus, transformed into monsters who had lost their humanity.

05:28Lisa, the daughter of the mansion's architect,
05:30Dehumanized by being subjected to viral experiments for a full 30 years,
05:34It had been transformed into an immortal monster.

05:42The main objective was to pit the Stars team against the lab's most powerful weapon, the Tyrant, and record the battle data.

05:50Tyrant, out of control, brought down Wesker with his own claws.
05:53Chris and Jill, however, managed to destroy the monster with a rocket launcher and escape the Mansion at the last moment.

06:03Minutes before Tyrant's claws tore him apart, Wesker,
06:06He had secretly obtained an experimental virus from his old friend William Birkin.
06:09And he injected it directly into his own body.

06:13On the contrary, it pulled him back from the brink of death.
06:15Moreover, this brought with it superhuman speed, incredible physical strength, and those characteristic pair of red eyes.
06:21Wesker crawled out of the rubble of the destroyed mansion on his own and disappeared into the night.

06:32Raccoon City had superficially calmed down.

06:41The company mobilized a special team to stop William Birkin, who was planning to sell the T-virus to the US military.

09:22Jill lay unconscious for two whole days, the entire duration of Leon and Claire's experiences in Raccoon City.
09:28Thanks to the vaccine that Carlos found through great effort, he was able to open his eyes again.
09:31But time was running out.
09:33The US government had decided that the virus could not be contained.
09:37The sterilization operation has been approved.
09:39A nuclear missile was going to be launched at the city.
09:40At the final escape point, Jill once again confronted the mutated, gigantic Nemesis.
09:45He tore the monster to pieces using a railgun and uttered that unforgettable line.

09:51Jill and Carlos jumped into the helicopter and took off.
09:53When they turned around, they watched as Raccoon City was wiped off the map by a nuclear explosion.
09:58More than one hundred thousand people had lost their lives.
10:00Although Ambrella tried to cover up the incident, this devastation ignited the company's downfall.
10:06Three months after the Raccoon City disaster, Claire Redfield still hadn't given up searching for her brother, Chris.
10:11They infiltrated an Ambrella facility in Paris.
10:13But he was captured and sent to Rockford Island, Ambrella's secret prison located somewhere in the depths of the ocean.
10:20The island was attacked shortly afterward.
10:22The virus spread, and Claire once again found herself in the middle of the chaos.
10:25This time, he was facing Alfred Ashford, the grandson of Edward Ashford, one of the founders of Ambrella, the island's governing body.
10:31Alfred was suffering from deep schizophrenia.
10:33He practically worshipped his twin sister Alexia, whom he considered superior.
10:37Years ago, Alexia developed a deeply sad virus called T. Veronica, inspired by the queen hierarchy of ants.
10:44But adapting fully to this virus wasn't easy.
10:46Alexia had herself frozen for a full 15 years.
10:50At this point, an unexpected name re-entered the scene.
10:53Albert Wesker
10:53Having grown even more powerful after Raccoon City, Wesker has arrived on the island to seize the T. Veronica virus.
10:59He cornered Claire.
11:00But when he learned that Chris had also arrived on the island, he decided to use him as bait.
11:04When Chris landed on the island to rescue his brother, he discovered that the former captain had gone far beyond the limits of human nature.
11:09It could teleport and walk on walls.
11:11The events moved aboard Ambrella in Antarctica.
11:14When Alexia awoke from her sleep, she had gained immense power.
11:18Even Wesker had to back down in fear, a moment extremely rare throughout the series.
11:23Chris eliminated Alexia with a special weapon and rescued Claire.
11:27Although Wesker failed to capture Alexia, he escaped with the body of Claire's friend, Steve Burnside, who had also been infected with the virus.
11:34T. Veronica thus fell into his hands.
11:37Six years have passed.
11:39Despite all attempts at a cover-up, the Raccoon City disaster hung over Ambrella like a dark cloud.
11:44The company, which was in freefall on the stock market, was crushed under the weight of a series of legal investigations.

12:26Behind all this darkness was Osmund Settler and his Los Illuminados cult.
12:30Their plan was simple, but extremely dangerous.
12:33The plan was to plant a parasite in Ashley and send her to the US, thereby collapsing the country from within.
12:37Leon encountered an old familiar face here.
12:39Eda Wong.
12:40He was working for a rival organization again, and again he was trying to steal the Las Plagas model.
12:45Moreover, Wesker's former partner, Krauser, was also there.
12:47And the confrontation between them and Leon was extremely bloody.
12:51In a technologically equipped laboratory, Leon managed to rid both Ashley and himself of the parasite infection.
12:57He destroyed Settler.
12:58But Eda, at gunpoint, took the parasite sample from Leon and delivered it to Wesker.

13:50But this wasn't a favor.
13:52He had completely taken control of her mind by constantly injecting her with chemicals using a special device implanted in her chest, making her loyal to him.

14:17He had created a supervirus.
14:19He would release this virus into the atmosphere, wipe out 90% of humanity, and establish a new world order composed of genetically selected individuals.
14:26He too would become the undisputed god of this new world.
14:29In the finale, Chris and Sheva managed to drop Wesker into the crater of an active volcano.
14:33Even amidst the lava, Wesker mutated and continued to attack.
14:36But Chris and Sheva unleashed two rocket launchers on Wesker, burying him deep in the lava.
14:42Aldert Wesker, the biggest and longest-running antagonist in the Resident Evil universe, has definitively become a thing of the past.
14:49Albert Wesker's death did not end bioterrorism.
14:52On the contrary, it made things much more complicated.
14:55Wesker was gone, but the viruses, formulas, and biological weapons he left behind had become commodities traded on the black market.
15:02There was no longer a single enemy; a different threat was lurking around every corner.
15:05And the new face of this threat was Neo Ambrella, the C virus, which transformed its victims into intelligent mutants.
15:11The world came under fire on three separate fronts simultaneously.
15:13On the American front, the US president was turned into a zombie by the C virus on the day he was to share the truth about Raccoon City with the public.
15:20Leon had to shoot him with his own hands.
15:22To clear his name from the assassination charges, he went after Derek Simons, the real mastermind behind the plot.
15:28While Chris was conducting an operation with his team on the European front, he fell into a trap set by a woman disguised as Eda.
15:33The entire team turned into monsters right before their eyes.
15:36This trauma erased Chris's memory.
15:38After being missing for months, the young soldier was found by Pierce.
15:42And driven solely by a desire for revenge, she followed the fake Eda to China.
15:46On the Chinese front, there was someone who held the world's only true hope.
15:49Jake Muller, a mercenary whose blood contains natural antibodies against the virus.
15:53The biggest irony was that Jake was the son of Albert Wesker, the series' biggest villain.
15:57The task of protecting her was given to Sherry Birkin, whom we know from Resident Evil 2.
16:01William Birkin's daughter was protecting Wesker's son.
16:04The three fronts finally intersected in the flame-filled streets of China.
16:08It turned out that the fake Eda was actually an obsessive clone created by Simons.
16:12The real Eda Wong cleared her name.
16:15Leon defeated the mutated Simons.
16:17Chris sacrificed his closest soldier to stop the weapon that would destroy the world.
16:20Jake, however, rejected his father's dark legacy, instead dedicating himself to the service of humanity and ending the pandemic.
16:26The world was saved once again.
16:28But nothing was the same anymore.
16:31After global wars and a massive biological weapons crisis, Resident Evil has returned to its roots.
16:36Those narrow corridors, that stifling darkness, and that feeling of helplessness have returned.
16:40But this time we weren't super agents trained to save the world.
16:43We were just ordinary, defenseless, and completely unprepared men.
16:46Systems engineer Aiden Winters received a cryptic message from his wife Maya, who had been missing for three years and was presumed dead.
16:52The clues in the messages led him to the eerie Baker ranch hidden in the desolate swamps of Louisiana.
16:58When he found Maya, his wife had completely changed.
17:01There was nothing in his eyes.
17:03He didn't recognize Aiden; he was attacking like a monster.
17:06But the real shock was just beginning.
17:08Aiden truly understood what desperation meant when he met his landlord, Jack Baker, and his family.
