00:4720 million a year isn't just to bring viewers and fans into the seats during the regular season right
00:53it's to bring fans into the playoffs and potentially win an NFC championship and if you remember this

01:06yards the game goes into overtime it's a it's just complete fireworks so now these are two teams
01:13potentially set up to make not only wild card appearances but potentially make a run at the
01:20Philadelphia Eagles for a division title we'll see how it plays out but for week one to have
01:25Harbaugh and the Giants in a prime time setting just tells you how the league feels for the Giants

02:35fan bases it's a lot of pressure I don't think that can be overstated I remember two seasons ago
02:43the Philadelphia Eagles opened the year in Brazil against Green Bay and uh you know most of us
02:50managers sports media everybody already knows like I had picked the Eagles to win the Super Bowl
02:56but man I thought week one was super important I thought they had to come out of the gates hot

03:02win that game against Green Bay in Brazil and they did just just that and you don't have to win

03:08one in order to win the Super Bowl last year Seahawks I believe lost week one to San Francisco so

03:13divisional game it's at home but I think there's going to be a lot of eyeballs on both the Giants
03:19and the Cowboys Joe so the loser's going to feel the weight of that loss quite a bit oh they

03:25anytime you lose a divisional matchup in week number one it's it's okay to lose a game but to then
03:31already be behind in the division after week one is a little demoralizing and that being said I mean
03:38it's used as a measuring stick as well Jackson Dart second year with a new head coach uh the optimism
03:45the fanfare the hype surrounding the Giants this season with a new head coach to change you know just
03:53the the unsuccessful nature of this organization over the past four or five seasons and on the flip side
03:59for Dallas with Schottenheimer they were close they almost made the playoffs right but they knock off
04:05Philadelphia at the end of the year uh in in their building after trailing 21 nothing this is a team
04:11that set up at least offensively that could go toe to toe with anybody not just in the NFC but
04:17in all of
04:18the NFL they just need to shore up the defensive side of the ball and if you could get a
04:23jump in the
04:24division on week number one now all of a sudden we see market overreaction especially depending upon
04:30margin of victory right Giants are already one and a half point dogs in the matchup they get blown out
04:36let's just say week one with Harbaugh Dallas all of a sudden could jump significantly in the NFC market Kevin
