00:00Having won the TTCB two-day competition, Queen's Park are now focusing on retaining the T20
00:05Festival title. The players were putting in the final touches at the Oval's outdoor nets
00:10ahead of Thursday's opener against Presal in the afternoon. The team is captained by Darren Bravo
00:15who also has the role of player coach. Being player coach at the Queen's Park Cricket Club
00:20is a wonderful opportunity and so far I've been enjoying it and the guys have been you know
00:24taking heed exactly the direction I want to go and so far so good. And going into the
00:29game against Presal what expectations do you have from the Parkites? I'm obviously defending
00:35champions so it's important for us to go out there and more or less do well in do well in
00:39each and
00:40every facets of the game so the guys are ready to go we think we have a very good team
00:44where youth
00:45and experience is concerned so looking forward to the challenge and hopefully we go out there and do
00:49well. The Parkites are without some big names including Red 4 skipper Joshua De Silva and Amir
00:55Django to name a couple. Despite their position experienced player Teon Webster has faith in the
01:00side. The spirit is great man. I think the Queen's Park Club is one club together. Everyone just
01:06together and happy playing with each other so I think going into the tournament I think we are in
01:12great minds we are in great you know everybody are fit and ready so I think yeah we have a
01:17great
01:17chance in the festival to retain our title. And as far as you are concerned what personal goals have
01:23you said yourself? Personally I would like to score 200 in the tournament. Left-handed batsman Kyle Ramdu
01:31has been training assiduously for the big occasion. Like the rest of his colleagues he too wants to help
01:36his side attain glory but also grow as a player. Well you know last year I had a decent showing
01:43with the
01:44bats you know so just to be do better than last year and no specific goals but you know just
01:49to do better
01:49and last year. You know as the upcoming CPL is coming you know this should be a good showing for
01:53me to
01:54showcase my talent and do better and last year. All the T20 festival matches are being held at the
01:59Queen's Park Oval. Vinod Nauwani, Tf6 Sport
