10:57Hmm.
10:59This is all the stuff you find on the chainsaw massacre table.
11:02This is a needle nose knife.
11:04You cut the eye socket out like that right here.
11:07Maybe this is leather face, bro, because it's nothing but leather.
11:13I guess a shoemaker.
11:15Because there's Pinocchio's foot.
11:18He didn't kill Pinocchio.
11:20Looking at this, I'm going to have to find somebody who knows how to put these stilettos together.
11:24Shoot me the money.
11:33Here we go, America.
11:34Let's see what we got.
11:36And the winner is...
11:41Hollywood.
11:42Hillwood.
11:43More of that stuff.
11:45Right here.
11:46He be fan paper and everything.
11:47We gonna have to make some stilettos.
11:50Yeah, this goes along with the, uh, the rest of the Jumanji boxing.
11:54What we got here, bro?
11:56Ooh, that's heavy.
11:59Got a leg up on you, America.
12:02This is a model, the mold, I would say.
12:06The mold.
12:07To make these here, brilliant stilettos.
12:10Yep, this goes with the, uh, the kit.
12:14We got some nice jackets here.
12:18No money.
12:20No money.
12:21It's all.

13:18You stupid mother that.
13:22This is supposed to be treasure hunting, not junk hunting.
13:24Thank God for this shoe kit.

13:31A one, a two, a three.
13:34.
13:38Excuse me, American.
13:42Like a disease.

14:04I like this room.
14:05It's basic.
14:07Real basic room with no trash.
14:09I see a little bit of work, a little bit of tools.
14:11Everything's sellable.
14:13And it's on the smaller side.
14:14So I won't be cleaning it up all the live long day.
14:17I'm bidding on this one.
14:19Right up my rails.
14:21I see speakers, tools, tools, chairs.
14:26Low key ice coolers.
14:28This boy was obsessed with speakers right here.
14:32This is interesting.
14:37Skateboard.
14:38Ice chest.
14:39I don't know.
14:40If it's cheap, I'm interested because I'm already here.

18:20Be like, damn, this mother .
18:23What are you doing, Kenny?
18:25You trying to fix this thing?
18:26Yeah, brother.
18:27All the light came on, man.
18:29Buy yourself a truck.
18:31Yeah, that's what I need.
18:32Looks like a real buyer.
18:33This is crazy, bro.
18:34What's wrong with the car?
18:35All these lights come on, bro, like it's Christmas.
18:38Let's see if it turn over.
18:39You don't have a small little emergency kit in your car or anything?
18:41No, I ain't got no, I ain't no mechanic.
18:44Either that or just call the AAA and tow it to the junkyard
18:47and go get yourself a new car.
18:48Oh, .
18:48Look at that.
18:51Come see all these lights.
18:54Wow.
18:55Man, Kenny, this car is broke as you.
18:57Car problems ain't gonna do when my cuts come.
19:02Hey, Dave, what was that number, the AAA?
19:051-800-F-O-F-F.
19:09Watch your profanity.
19:15We don't have to be quiet anymore.
19:17Yes, no more.
19:18We can turn off.
19:18We can see if our secret code...
19:20Worked?
19:21...will prevail.
19:22Ooh.
19:25Wow.
19:26If you watch, low profile will equal high profits.
19:30Ooh, that one's good.
19:32Yeah, vintage starter.
19:33San Francisco 49ers.
19:35That's Wilson leather.
19:36I mean, it's a nice heavy motorcycle leather jacket.
19:40The Canada Goose is expensive.
19:41Probably refills like $1,000.
19:43I think it's at least $1,000 for everything.
19:46Oh, okay.
19:47Nice clean pants.
19:48Oh, jerseys.
19:49Ooh.
19:50T-shirts.
19:51Easily a hundred bucks in clothes in that tote.
19:54I don't know how this is gonna work out.
19:56I'll try to hold at least one bike.
19:59Oh, we're getting close.
20:00Ah!
20:01We did it.
20:02Ooh.
20:04All right.
20:05Was it worth it?
20:06Are the bikes good?
20:07One is actually really good.
20:08PK River.
20:09Mm-hmm.
20:1026-inch upgraded parts.
20:12So, I mean, I think this bike we could at least get $1,000.
20:16Is this the better bike?
20:17This is the better one.
20:18This one, the components are basic.
20:21They're not like Shimano or anything.
20:22This bike will ask like $150 for it.
20:25Not bad.
20:26Nothing special.
20:28Ooh, we got Rich and Levi's.
20:3180.
20:32I have a lot of Levi's.
20:34120.
20:35$300.
20:35Nice.
20:36At $20 a pair.
20:37Easy.
20:38Oh, you're good.
20:40When I look at a bike, first thing I always look for is components.
20:43It looks nice.
20:44This is an entry-level Shimano.
20:46It's not really that high quality, so we'll get at least $100 for it.
20:50What do we got?
20:51Looks pretty cool, though.
20:52I think that's the best one.
20:54Pretty cool.
20:55I think I win.
20:56Oh, that's a good one.
20:57Yeah, I win.
20:58That's actually one of the best ones.
21:00Okay.
21:01That one goes for $250.
21:03Okay.
21:03See, I win.
21:06A vintage BMX bike.
21:07This is a freestyle.
21:09Well, at least $300.
21:11What's a gum wizard?
21:14Gum wizard?
21:15Does it sell gum?
21:17I don't think this sells.
21:18Cleans gum out of the floor?
21:19Wow, yes.
21:20It's a commercial gum cleaner.
21:22I mean, I'll ask $1,500 for it.
21:24We'll see what happens.
21:26Look at this.
21:27Isn't it weird?
21:28It almost looks like when you go get your hair done and they put you on that dryer so
21:32that your hair dries faster.
21:35Oh, it's a speaker.
21:37That is a speaker.
21:40Do you know what it's worth?
21:42I really don't.
21:43I think we could find someone to speak to us.
21:45Okay.
21:45Wow, look at all the tools.
21:48Okay, so.
21:49Wow.
21:51Oh, more tools.
21:52There's a lot down there.
21:53I think there's at least $100 in all this stuff right here.
21:56And then look.
21:57Even two bug sprayers to top it off at another $20 a piece.
22:00That is $140 more on the successful venture of our silent stealing.
22:06I think so far we just proved that silence is golden.
22:11Silent but deadly, Lupe.
22:13I've learned.
22:16Like a fart.
22:23Can the Ivy Train make it to Profittown early?
22:26I think I can.
22:28Ugh.
22:29Well, that's an easy one.
22:30Table.
22:31It's a small one.
22:32Four-footer, but well used.
22:35We'll get used more.
22:36$25.
22:37Another $25.

23:06I hate clothes.
23:07They are never worth any money.
23:09Clothes all the way from bottom to top.
23:11No money.
23:13These sell like hotcakes in grandma's attic.
23:16$25, $25, and...
23:19Ooh!
23:19It's working.

23:28Ooh!
23:28That's kind of nifty.
23:29But how do we open up this side?
23:31Alrighty.
23:33Milwaukee, which is Ivy Little Ivy's brand.
23:35So I can take this back to them.
23:37Alright, we got $40 right there.
23:39Wow.

23:57These shoes right here are $150 new.

24:02Look at that.
24:02Woo!
24:04Freddie ain't got nothing on me.
24:06Woo!
24:08Oh, Jason?
24:10Woo, baby.
24:12Jason ain't got nothing on me.
24:14Mmm.

24:22Nothing great.
24:23More bag lights.
24:25More tools.
24:27Alright, everything in here, $50.
24:29Most of the money is in the plain old case because it's in great condition and all four latches work.
24:34Oh, holy moly.
24:36Well, this is okay.
24:37Ah!
24:38Probably rain protection plastic.
24:40This sells really good at the shop.
24:41$20.
24:42I don't know what this is, but this is kind of cool.
24:47Pressure washer.
24:49Walk around.
24:50Come here, ghost.
24:52Put them in a little train.
24:53I'm gonna say it's gotta be worth at least $40.
24:56Expensive boxes usually have, well, 50% of the time have expensive stuff in them.
25:01Boom!
25:02Well, that would've been more better if it opened.
25:04Boom!
25:05Well, oh, I guess it would help if I did the size.
25:08Again.
25:10Boom!
25:11Woo!
25:14Struck it Unrich.
25:1515 bucks. I'll get more for the case. Case itself, 30 bucks. Oh, only tools on the top and only
25:23tools
25:23on the bottom. All right. Nice, nice. Tools and container, 50 bucks. Oh, wow. Right up my alley
25:31right here. That's what I do. This is a dartboard. MD Sports, it says. So it goes sideways like this.
25:42I'm a dart player, so I know that. There we go. Very nice dartboard, nice case. Look like it also
25:49lights up. It looks like it's camel hair, which is a little better, so it's a little more. I'll get
25:55a $50 bill on this. Easy. This reminds me, I got to meet up with my dart buddies. It's been
26:00a while.
26:01Well, I thought it was empty, but it's more. This is a dart case. I know what this is.
26:04Let's say, how many sets of darts? Three sets of darts. All righty.
26:11Got his flights back there. Little extra darts right here you can play around and goof off
26:15with. If you're going to have a dartboard, you might as well have some darts to go with
26:18it. $20 right here. This locker really went off the rails here, but a dartboard, that's
26:23a bullseye to me. Ooh, Mickey Mouse. Ooh, I think that's a bullseye.
26:31All right, Henry. Come on. Let's get this done. I paid $1,950 for this. I've got to make
26:35some money here. I saw a lot of great stuff in the door of this unit, so I know there's
26:40going
26:40to be a lot of gems I didn't see. Just start grabbing some boxes and start lining them up
26:44so I can see what's in them. Come on down here. Nice stuff. Bosch tools. Bosch is expensive.
26:53More tools. Hardware. I'm going to say there's $100 in that box. Copier. Is it for projection?
27:02Oh, projector. We got everything in there? All right. Shimano's expensive. That whole box is going to be
27:08worth like $400. I'm going to say easy $500 for somebody build out a computer. This is very cool.
27:15I like this. I think this is carbon fiber, actually. Some of these can be worth up to like $1
27:19,000.
27:20I'm going to say an easy $500 on it. PlayStation 3. Another easy. Easy $100 in this box. A lot
27:33of PS4 games.
27:34We got Wii's and PS4s. I want to say this is $600 in that box. Oh, I see something in
27:42here that might be
27:42interesting in here. Gamer stuff. Another nice computer. So I'm going to say another $350 in there.
27:54All right. Now it's time to come inside. So we have wheels. What are these, bicycle wheels?
27:59I don't know. I'm going to say $100 on the rims. These are rollerblades. Yeah. Rollerblades.
28:08Probably $100. Easy. Callaway. Might be a few mixed. I'm going to say $100 on this.
28:17Heavy ass hanging. That's a speaker. Yeah. I don't know.
28:21$500 maybe. Audio docking station. $50 bill, Brando. Another speaker. Another $100 bill, Brando.
28:33A little equalizer. Integrated audio production studio. What do you think? $200, Brando.
28:41Oh, I like it. I like it. Look at that, man. More electronics. I want to say $200 in there.
28:51This is what I was bidding on was this jetpack bike.
28:59Dun-da-da-da-da. Empty. That's part of the storage business.
29:04So even though this bag is not full, the bag itself is still worth, I'm going to say $400.
29:15Scuba jacket. Yeah, I'm with a jacket and fins and everything. I'm going to say like $300.
29:19Oh, man. Look at this. This is a... I know. Me and my brothers, we would have used these in
29:24the backyard
29:25trying to shoot each other in the ass with these. I'm going to say $200 here. Look this up.
29:32Oh, my God. There it is. Beautiful. This is your monitor. And the bottom piece is your soundbar.
29:38So I'm going to say, since it's used but in good condition, I'm going to say $700 for both.
29:45This is one of those new desks that raises and tilts. If used, you can get $200 on Craigslist for
29:51them all day long. I'm going to say about $300 for the weights. That just about does it. See?
29:59Montebello never fails me. Okay, Henry, you guys pack it up. I'm going to go take a break, okay?
30:05I'm going to go sit in the RV with the dogs and take a nap.
30:16There they are. I'm meeting up with some of my dart buddies today. I didn't know if y'all
30:20was going to show up. Yep. Well, yeah, we got to take your money. And Ed McCammack from Phoenix
30:24Darts is bringing his top of the line, most high-tech dart machine for us to play with.
30:30So if I wanted to buy one of these, what'd it cost me? Well, we could probably go $12.5
30:35on that.
30:36$12.50. How about $12,500? Woo! But it's way different than your grandpa's board in his garage.
30:42Yeah, that's way different than my grandpa's everything. For $12,000, they better let me hit
30:46bullseyes every time. We have several fun zones that I think you'd like. Not just your standard
30:52501 and cricket. But for you, I think we need to try a fishing game. You know how much I
30:57love fishing.
30:57It's not a complicated game. You guys are going to throw. The better you hit and the bigger fish
31:02you'll catch. That was not it. All right, now we got a fish on the line. Look at that little
31:10guppy.
31:10Sardines there for you. So now you're trying to hit the board when that red fish is in a get
31:15area. Otherwise, your line will break. Ow! And your line broke.
31:25Big ol' grouper. Got him! All right, let's see if you can reel it in, though. Look at that. Hey,
31:32want to take a picture, Nick? Uh-oh, you are in trouble now, I mean.
31:41Another snap line. Oh, my God. All right. There he is. There's a big one. They don't even fit on
31:50the
31:50spring. And the winner of the big fish competition is not the fisherman. It ain't the fisherman.
31:56Congratulations, Nick. I value you, sir. You know what they say. A bad day of fishing is better than
32:00a good day at the auction. I got a deal for you. All right. I know you're not going to
32:04give me one,
32:04but if I hit a bulls, you got to loan me one for a year. Well, consider that a deal.
32:08All right.
32:09I got it.
32:19Oh. I was so close. That's the aim of the game. So close. So close. But I do appreciate you
32:25inviting us to play. Rematch next week. That's right. All right, Nick. Love you, brother.
32:29Let's do it. Best shoe cobbler in the land. Kumbaya. I'm taking my shoemaking tools to shoemaker
32:40Pasquale Fabrizio. Maybe I can step up into some profit. Pasquale. Oh. What's up with you,
32:47boy? Hey. How you doing, man? I'm all right, brother. Long time no see. Good to see you. Yes,
32:52sir. How's Barry doing? He's doing all right. I was with him yesterday. But he told me to contact
32:57you about this shoe. I call it a Pinocchio set, but they said it is a shoemaking stuff.
33:03I should tell Barry it's older than him. What are you talking about? What you have here,
33:10this is a horseshoe that we call a shoe. A horseshoe? Typically, what happens with these kind of
33:15things, because the cobbler will sit on a stoop, a small, low heel, that will sit between them,
33:21because they work by hand. Yeah. And you said they're called a cobbler? Cobbler is is somebody
33:27who does a refurbishing repair. Okay. So you're a cobbler. Yes. Go on with your bad self. And a
33:32shoemaker. Oh, go on with your bad self. The two. And it's a cool piece. And you know,
33:35it's been around for at least 89 years. Because that leather is is dried up. It's toast.
33:41I got a treasure chest for you. Cool.
33:47Glove foot.
33:50These are called lasts. This is what the shoe is made from. And so what happens when you're
33:55mounting a shoe or building one? All right, this gets cut to size, and it gets nailed underneath.
34:01So once you have that, and you pull it out, now you have the shape of the shoe. The mold.
34:06This is the
34:06mold. But each one of these is specific and different to the shoe design. Okay.
34:12Okay. These are also very generic because the last has not been customized. Meaning it hasn't
34:18been made to a specific shot. So what you're looking at here, I would say this is probably going back
34:23to
34:24the mid 1930s. That's history. Yeah. What about these unique carving tools? These are all the same.
34:33But they're not used for like certain designs or something? No. Skiving. Let me show you here.
34:41You see it? So when you take this. Oh man. So that's called skiving. Yeah. You see that? Yeah. Like
34:48somebody with bad acne. Or a terrible barber. Yeah. You don't want to get caught in his chair.
34:56But yeah, this is what skiving is. So you thin out the edge. Okay. You know, there's just been a
35:01collection of, of, of blades over a period of time. Worn out knives. Worn out knives. That's it. And
35:07they're all the same application. Let me see what else you got in here. Oh, let me see. Somebody buried
35:13stuff under here. Oh, look at that. Okay. Okay. These are our tools. They look kind of new, huh? Yeah.
35:20These are very, very recent, very traditional stuff that we work in all day. Mallet. Beaded ass. Yeah.
35:29Also to apply the adhesives. Mm-hmm. We got some iron boots. There they are. So here they go. This
35:36goes on the scurvy, right? It is something. So it goes like this. And you still use it to this
35:45day?
35:46Well, yeah. Well, you need different applications for different shoes. Yeah. Because everybody's feet
35:50ain't the same size. It's a lot of work, bro. Oh. You know how many tradesmen it takes to make
35:56a pair of shoes? Three. 250 plus. One pair of shoes? One pair. It goes through so many steps and
36:05so many
36:05people that are exposed to it. Mm-hmm. To me, it's mind-blowing. Wow. And I still look at a
36:11shoe
36:11going, how can you still put a shoe together for that price, even if it's a thousand dollars?
36:16Let's get to the knitties gritties. How much you think this whole collection is worth?
36:21I would say, listen, a lot of this, you know, is memorabilia. Mm-hmm.
36:28What makes it interesting to me is even this cobbler, he made his own tool kit. Good.
36:33He made all of the stuff, so he made it by hand. All of the stuff really represents the tradesman.
36:39Mm-hmm. And I like the beauty of him putting it all together. Yeah.
36:42The value, I think, is, is, for me, I would say all of the stuff, I would go in about
36:50$900.
36:55Making money out of this unit was a real feat, but I did it.
37:01That's something I learned. I didn't, I thought it was just called a shoemaker, but now they got
37:05a professional name at the cobbler. It's always been a cobbler. It's always been a cobbler.
37:10That could be a scary movie, bro. The cobbler. The cobbler.
37:18Hey, man, I'm Dusty. Hey, Dusty, how are you? Good.
37:21I'm Lupe. Hi, Lupe. This place is so neat. It's an adult toy store in a way.
37:25Lupe and I are taking the speaker to Jason Lord, AKA Mr. Hi-Fi, to see if we can amp
37:31up some profit.
37:33Here's our beautifully Montebello-found items. So there was a store out in Montebello way back
37:41in the day that did a lot of horn-type speakers, which is the category of speaker this is. So
37:46this
37:46is an interesting company. This is the Athena Phoenix. This company started around 1998. It's
37:53a Taiwanese company, but mostly sold in Asia and a great deal in Europe. This is actually a metal horn,
37:59which is something that's very unique. Most of the time, they're either made from wood
38:04or they're made from some kind of composite. The crossover into the tweeter is really loose,
38:09so it might not be working right now, but it's nicely made. We can't say the Taiwanese can't make
38:16good stuff. What is a tweeter? So a tweeter is a high-frequency component. So the higher section
38:22things are like, you know, like hi-hats on a drum or the upper end of most musical instruments,
38:28like horns and things like that. People that typically buy this kind of speaker were people
38:33that mostly listen to classical or older jazz. I can't imagine too many people listening to
38:41Grand Funk Railroad or, you know, Alice in Chains or anything like that.
38:47So let's take a look at the bass driver down here. Wow. And so what we have here is a
38:5212-inch
38:53driver with a butyl surround. Now, it does have a technique here. If you notice the surfacing,
38:58this is a tar that they put on on the front. And what that does is create more weight and
39:03rigidity to
39:04the driver so it can handle more bass. What is a driver? The driver is actually the component that
39:10actually makes the sound. So there's a driver in here, there's a driver here, and then that's a
39:14bass driver. Lots of drivers. Lots of drivers. Just a pair of these would have cost around 40 grand.
39:20If this doesn't work, it's really probably not worth much. It's operational and somebody has a
39:27matching unit for it. It could be worth quite a bit. Where's the other one? Well, unfortunately,
39:32I was hoping it was hiding under a blanket in the back corner of the room. It wasn't. There was
39:37lots of
39:37blankets, but it wasn't hiding. Instead, it was a bicycle frame with no wheels. There you go. And here we
39:42go.
39:42Well, we'll have to see how this one performs. All right. Well, let's check it out. Let's hook
39:47this thing up and see what we got. Nice and solid. I'm going to hook up. And I think we
39:54can just hit
39:55play and we can go. Ready? I'm excited. It looks like you're ready to launch a space shuttle with all
39:59that.
40:05Okay. So we have sound coming out of the bass driver. Wow. We're missing the high. Yeah.
40:13Our tweeter is not tweeting. There is no sound coming out of the high-frequency driver or the midge
40:19driver. So it looks like we only have a connection to the bottom speaker, which is the woofer. So
40:24there's something really particularly wrong with it. Sounds muffled.
40:30I feel my money dying. Aw. I mean, is there any value left in this thing? So
40:39let's assume that this driver was working and this driver was working. Because there's no pair,
40:46you're really looking at somebody who's either just going to use it for ornamentation or you're looking at
40:52uh, the possibility of selling the individual components. Okay. If you did that, you know, you're
41:00probably talking about 400 bucks is what you have in value. Hauling the speaker down here was more
41:11treble than it was worth. I hear that. Not exactly music to my ears. Uh,
41:17the way it performs right now, it's not exactly music to anyone's ears. Oh. I will agree. Dave Hester
41:24went large in Montebello and cashed in with 4,000 big ones. Dusty and Lupe were on the down low,
41:32but their profit was up high. Kenny Crosley counted an extra 450 bucks,
41:41while Ivy Calvin chugged his way out of the red with just $175. I'm a professional cusser.
41:51It's an art form for me. I be cussing when I don't even know I'm cussing, you know? Oh yeah,
41:56we don't do it. Sorry. My thing is, who the said that the was a bad word?
42:06Tell me that . Who said that ? I honestly think it's something that the
42:13luminarchy trying to keep away from it, because once you really express how you really feel,
42:18that's less stress in your body. So I want everybody out there to try it one time. Now,
42:22say it with me, America. Oh, you.
