03:25orlando can't make shots and and the pistons haven't made a ton of shots either but the pistons are
03:31making more shots in orlando just take care of the ball don't turn it over it's precious

04:30has not been here offensively all series long it was other guys stepping up and those memories are
04:35still fresh in your mind and and provides you and i'm going to optimism yeah and i'm going to the
04:40game tonight so it'll have that sense memory the second i walk into that building oh yeah i remember
04:45this last week you guys won it's going to trigger something for you okay i mean i'm glad that you
04:53can you can conjure that up um because i feel like this is like a trip to the dentist it's
05:00never fun
05:02and when you're when you're done it your trip to the dentist is over and you've you know got your
05:06teeth cleaned and you feel better when you leave don't you feel better when you leave but i'm i'm like
05:12scared that the dentist is going to find something and and you're gonna have to come back
05:19okay this is just a cleaning but we found a couple cavities so um we're gonna have to make another
05:24appointment here to to fill those up and it's in and i guess one of the things that's unusual
05:31is i i we have a a way of looking at sports we're like okay how can it work out
05:37even if things aren't going well we tend to find it okay what's the path to success and i'm struggling
05:43finding the path to success which maybe is why i'm not anticipate i have a great feeling of
05:49anticipation for tonight's game and uh it's amazing to erode the faith in the fun that fast because this
05:56series has not been a fun watch it has not been a fun watch and it it's it's one thing

06:02i mean that that sucks to lose but when you lose and your team is like having this out of

06:13performance which yeah turnovers were always a problem not this bad not they're worse in the
06:18postseason kate's turned the ball literally oh he's turned it over literally twice as much as he did
06:23during the regular season this is not the same the pistons we looked at it i i can't find the
06:29statistic
06:29for offensive fouls okay and but i my gut tells me that their offensive fouls committed their illegal
06:38screens their charges yeah and their offensive fouls on rebounds i feel like that number is higher than
06:46it was in the regular season which is adding to extra possessions for orlando the turnovers
06:55are they're having four more per game than they had in the regular season the offensive rebounds
07:00allowed at two and a half more per game than the regular season they're giving orlando six and a half
07:06more possessions than they were giving opponents during the regular season and that adds up it obviously
07:13makes a huge difference in close games where your possession is wiped out you don't you you while you
07:20had the basketball it ends with a big x you basically get nothing out of it and the opponent
07:26gets another possession and when you mix in offensive fouls which feels to me like those numbers are up
07:32this is an out of character experience you can watch the pistons all season long and you think you know
07:37what they're going to look like and then they get to the postseason and they don't look like that which
07:42is why suddenly i'm having problems finding that path to success and i'm having problems getting excited
07:47and anticipating tonight's game another area they have you're a better man than me scott well
07:53this we know uh another area they have to improve it is free throw shooting they are shooting only
07:59less than 73 percent from the line in the playoffs and this was a team that shot 76 percent during

08:06season i mean and these these are little things but it's like it's a shot or two every night yeah

08:11add them up that's a point or two every night that's a possession six and a half more possessions per

08:16they're giving an opponent these things add up and the next thing you know no wonders they're losing
08:22this year and it seems like there's an inordinate amount of the turnovers lead to fast break points

08:33possession i feel bad for fans that just kind of tuned in because they haven't been paying attention
