04:39many peaks and valleys he's able to keep this this very level-headed demeanor and we told you earlier
04:46tonight every time he's finished off the podium this year he's come back with either a win or a second

04:51third well and now is the time you talk about those bounce back races this is going to be one
04:57of the most
04:58important ones because we are running out of time we only have two races remaining after this denver
05:05and salt lake city and there just simply is no more time to recover from a lackluster performance
05:13and he is doing a great job right now keeping kenny honest a massive turnaround in his riding
05:20compared to how he was riding at the beginning yeah in the heat race so i think i think with

05:26away from webb he has stabilized he's got into a good rhythm and now he can see kenny kenny's not
05:32getting away roxon is in touch within reach oh there he goes he's able to double double double he's all
05:41over now it's going to be really really hard to get by ken he's going to probably have to hope

05:47mistake from ken or he's going to have to do a slide job like what we saw bam bam do

05:55he's going to want to get by ken ken but very impressive ride for both of these guys right

08:35there goes cooper webb and we saw hunter remember he almost dropped it there several laps earlier
08:40that's a lapper goes by he's only going to lose one position so now you got to go to big

08:46first and foremost you got to stay upright but you have to do everything you can to get back to

08:53webb going to be tough to get that momentum back going look you can see he's having difficulty through

09:04his heart rate back under control understand that he's still in third and yeah the conditions are a
09:10little better i talked earlier about how muddy it is if you fall over and that's what he cannot do

09:20he can't do which is panic last week he won the first race in the triple crown but then the

09:27went away especially in the third where he fell down a couple of times and he is so headstrong that

09:40challenge here now he's lost a lot of time just at the point where he was really pressuring ken roxson
09:46yeah i mean he had ken right where he wanted him he's in a great spot and and he made
09:51that mistake again
09:52he almost did that several laps before and it finally caught up with him and again this is the
09:59time of the series and then we're at in the championship you have to do everything right
10:04and he is he is fighting it at the moment these conditions are incredibly challenging
10:13and hunter lawrence has his hands full he knows what's on the line he knows what this represents
10:22he does not want to give up too many points to ken roxson yeah it's worse i mean the worst

10:28he's probably wanting to happen right now is for cooper webb to get in between him so at this stage

11:56that foot's getting better and he's spending more time on the bike yeah and he's found that early
12:00season speed again
12:05i think dean wilson's done quite a terrific yeah since he's come back absolutely and coming back late
12:11in the season when these guys have been racing all year long he's done an incredible job the the
12:16troy lee red bull ducati boys are together seventh and eighth that's a that's a tremendous comeback right
12:22for justin basher here's justin hill running in fifth aboard that team tedder ktm
12:31and behind him is dino
12:35and justin hill's got a good run going here you saw right there basically from nashville on he's been
12:43doing a great job and we talked to him last week at cleveland remember diff and he was talking about
12:49you know how he just he knows he has the talent who believes that he's got the best bike on
12:54the track
12:55that team tatter machine you said at the top of the show when i asked you about honda lawrence ken
13:01rockson you said the one who will get across the line to win the championship it's all down to
13:05what's between their ears it's all psychological that's what justin told us last week with himself
13:10he said it's only me who's holding myself back or it's only me who can excel and he said once
13:16i
13:16you know i've been working on that and
13:21i've taken that next step which is really encouraging to see
13:25watching timing and scoring and ken rockson doing a great job
13:29maintaining that lead to about six to eight seconds over cooper webb still some time to go
13:35here again these lappers going to be very hard for these guys to get out of the way because of
13:39conditions but ken cannot lay down it would be a huge step forward in this championship run
13:46to gain these points take a little bit of pressure off the next couple weeks
13:53here's dean wilson i mean that's that's good 11th and 12th that's very remarkable finishes again not
14:01racing here all year long and then just hopping in mid-season here comes dylan ferrandes ferrandes is
14:08fighting him for that sixth spot keep in mind where dylan came from the last chance qualifier and had to
14:14really grind through that after he fell in the lcq this is the dylan that we know right here
14:21having a great main event and again he was the last position in that last chance qualifier six is a
14:29season best and dylan ferrandes achieved that in nashville a couple of weeks ago and that's exactly
14:34where he is right now ken's about to lap this guy right here that's lapping up to seventh place yeah
14:41that shows you how roxton is in the zone there you go in a league of his own gonna be
14:49really important
14:50for ken to keep this bike upright right now be looking ahead and timing of where he's able to get
14:57by
14:57these guys it's going to be so crucial looking ahead making sure that you pass these lappers in the
15:04perfect spot he would leave here with the red plate ken roxson has never held the points lead in the
15:14second half of the season you remember that point and in this season where he got annoyed he got
15:22aggravated by people saying oh he never he never keeps it together he always fades in the second half
15:28the season he said i'll show you yeah because and he has because for most of his 450 career he's
15:34done
15:35a lot of great work early on in the season but man he has been so consistent this year
15:40and rising to the occasion when he needs to he's looking over his shoulder there
15:45by seeing where his uh where hunter is jason thomas what you got bud well just you know i wanted
15:51to add
15:52to that point you know kenny was frustrated that people were kind of counting him out in the second half
15:56of the championships but when we look back and we were trying to kind of glean what is his what
16:00is
16:01his performance going to look like when we get to races like denver or salt lake and we didn't have
16:06much and that's not necessarily his fault he's had mechanical failures that caused an injury in nashville
16:11and he's had problems that weren't always due to lack of performance down the stretch but the point
16:17remains we simply don't have a lot to go off of late in the championship so it might have been

16:22the numbers telling the story versus him dropping off in performance so we shall see with two and a
16:27half races to go here this would be if he gets this victory this would be four wins in five

16:40yeah it's incredible but i'm going to go ahead and tell you i mean i i believe i mean we

16:46of these kind of rides and what's so special for me to watch him put in these performances at this

16:53of year it is dumping right now outside there's another rain band coming track track is slick
17:04denver colorado next week salt lake city the week after to complete the supercross portion of the smx world
17:11championship look at roxton six seconds ahead of cooper webb that's the margin that he had in his heat
17:19victory yeah he's cruising this guy has incredible balance on a motorcycle as well so conditions like
17:27this he's just so good at four seconds is that margin down from six cooper webb is saying don't discount
