01:57i'm going to tell you right now these conditions if you're a ken roxson fan you are going to absolutely

02:03not saying that these other riders aren't good in the mud but i like ken's chances because of these
02:09conditions here before we came on the air you said this is playing right into roxson's hands why is he
02:15so good as cooper webb leaps his way into second past honda lawrence who's trying to keep his bike up
02:21almost dropped it in the mud yeah he keeps it up right and man you talk about
02:28dotting eyes and cross the tees ken roxson is doing that right now looking looks like hunter's
02:34got uh some goggle issues i think they put tear-offs over the roll-offs and uh looks like all

02:41uh tear-offs have come up come undone look at ken tell us more will jumping through the rhythm just

02:54conditions as i was kind of doing my rounds with the teams today there was a lot of talk about
02:58how important the start is going to be protecting the motorcycle uh vision everything that we've
03:02spoken about the one team that had a smile on their face well that was the suzuki progressive
03:08insurance team because they know what their rider is capable of we talked about opportunity so far
03:13tonight a massive opportunity right now for the 94th well the reason he's so good in the mud number one
03:19he has the experience uh racing these type conditions a lot as as a young kid as well and
03:26again i mean this guy is into his 30s and uh that experience and that's something that uh you can't
03:31buy and uh i like that i like how he rides it's very loose on the bike as well kind
03:37of letting it move
03:37around jt yeah ricky this this remind you a little bit of that san francisco race where you and james
03:43stewart had that huge battle it's just the way the racetrack is shaping up they're able to actually
03:48race it you see kenny jumping on jumping off putting all the combinations together it just
03:53has a lot of shades of that year for me yeah 100 like i talk about hey just going out
03:57there and doing
03:57what you need to do and and racing your race but yeah these guys are getting so good at racing

04:04these conditions that yet they end up racing this and it's like i remember that race that you just
04:09talked about in san francisco so vividly i'm like oh my goodness it's like we're racing in here and it's
04:15not even muddy i'll tell you what with ken being able to ride these conditions watch this uh replay
04:25of hunter lawrence he's going to come up short starts to spin and goes sideways comes up way short
04:31no harm no foul but what i was going to say as as ken is able to do these rhythm
04:36lanes it actually
04:38creates less heat in the engine and the bike keeps the bike a little bit cooler because you're going at
04:44faster speed so that's helpful for preserving your engine preserving your clutch clutch
04:52cooperweb is just under six seconds in arrears of roxson and has a nice buffer over hunter lawrence
04:59and then how about dean wilson malcolm stewart garrett march banks vince freeze he's in seventh then
05:05christian craig and kevin morans has just pushed mitchell harrison outside of an automatic transfer
05:11position kenny just rolling along i love what i'm seeing right now from ken i mean he's in another
05:18zone compared to these guys and like dib just told us before this heat race started this is one two

05:24in the championship so going into the main he's got to be feeling pretty spunky this three-time champ
05:33here is still mathematically alive in this 450 championship yeah it's going to be tough he knows
05:39that but the champ still has a mathematical shot it's going to be hard but who knows on a night

05:46tonight it is wide open the variables are plenty yeah anything can happen as we know and just one tip
05:52over you know we talk about kenny and that that being a kickstart motorcycle i mean that should
05:58be a massive goal not only for everybody else but especially kenny because if for some reason he went
06:04down it would and that bike shut off it is going to be difficult hunter lawrence working his way through
06:11some traffic you know if hunter isn't feeling overly great right now i think you got to go big picture
06:18as much of a tough pill as that is to swallow you got to hope that just get through here
06:25maximize the
06:26night hope for a little luck um move on well next weekend in denver he's got to continue the pattern
06:33that he's had this year and that pattern is when he doesn't finish on the podium he comes straight
06:40back to the next race so he didn't finish on the podium at anaheim one the season opener but in

06:44diego he was on the podium he did not finish on the podium in seattle came back to arlington to
06:49get
06:50his very first career 450 win did not finish on the podium in detroit came back in st louis the
06:55very
06:55next week after crashing in the whoops and he finished on third he did not finish on the podium
07:01last weekend in cleveland so if he continues this pattern he should be on the podium tonight
07:06yeah he should be but this this the mud being the equalizers uh you just never know let's have a

07:18yeah no it's good i'm uh i'm going to enjoy these last three the points have
07:22been at numerous times throughout the season being at you know down one up one you know tied so it's
