00:00As police intensify their investigations into the remainder of the missing firearms from the San Fernando Municipal Police Station, two
00:07more suspects who may have had knowledge about the heist have been picked up by the police over the last
00:1224 hours.
00:14Investigators say the male suspect from Laramaine, who they believe may have received some of the firearms, was picked up
00:20at his workplace by investigators just afternoon today.
00:23Sources say that a businessman who owns a bar in Central Trinidad, who is said to be in hiding, would
00:28have gotten some of the stolen firearms to the Laramaine man using a dark-coloured Kia vehicle, which police are
00:34yet to locate.
00:35Police also held a female suspect earlier today closely affiliated with the businessman for questioning.
00:40Over the last few days, police rounded up 11 other suspects, mostly for questioning into the disappearance of the firearms
00:46and ammunition, and some have since been cooperating.
00:49Since the incident, police have recovered 38 of the over 100 firearms stolen, while over 900 wrongs of the 4
00:56,000 wrongs stolen have since been recovered.
