00:11I sacrificed a lot of things. A lot, a lot of things. I cried so much that the
00:17walls inside of the bedroom could tell you how much I cried because transitioning was hard.
00:22It was extremely hard and being there by myself with no family members, not knowing anybody there,
00:29it was hard. But the transition, now it's getting easier.
00:42You feel like a pro?
00:44Yeah, I'm feeling like a pro. I'm feeling like a pro, yeah.
00:49When you lined up against Elaine Thompson and you actually defeated her, how did you feel?
00:55I feel like a superstar. I was like, yeah, man, that is a day. I was feeling, knowing
01:01that I was able to compete against her for the first time. It was an honor because I am competing
01:09against one of the fastest women in the world.
01:12Did you shock the Jamaican crowd when they saw you?
01:15Apparently, I shocked the Jamaican crowd because the comments on Facebook just, they was like,
01:20they was mean, but mean studies. Yeah, they was mean because everybody know Tina and Tia and Alana,
01:30they are not 200 athletes. But I beat them. I take them my win still.
01:41I would say my 200, the 200 is my stronger event. And that is my favorite event because I don't
01:49have a strong start for the 100, so everybody will beat me in the 100. But when it comes to
01:54the 200, I am not going to allow nobody to beat me in the 200.
01:57100 is my favorite event.
02:00It is great.
