00:00Previously on Mama June...
00:02It's like I haven't been trying with Josh.
00:04I'm not saying we're gonna have a heart-to-heart
00:05and be best friends, but, like, look, man,
00:07you feel this way, let me hear it.
00:08I'll tell you how I feel.
00:10Hello Grace, you ready to go?
00:11Yeah.
00:11You need help with the car seats or anything?
00:12I don't get why I should even play nice with Darren.
00:15Well, I'm gonna do something fun this weekend.
00:17I got a couple ideas.
00:18Yeah, I bet you do.
00:20While I was moving on from the Josh drama,
00:23Jess and Cheyenne were moving in to Mama's.
00:26Hey, June Buck!
00:27After a backyard fire left them homeless.
00:30But do you really even like me, June?
00:32It's not a secret that, you know, I don't like Cheyenne.
00:35I'm gonna bed.
00:37As usual, Mama's big mouth ruined everything.
00:40I'm done with ya.
00:42Bitch, you're into Trina Weeners.
00:44Hello, I am her blood,
00:45and she can't get rid of me like that.
00:47Trina did step up with a surprising offer.
00:49Now you're stuck with us on your couch.
00:51What if I just give y'all my house?
00:55That's what an unselfish mom does, June.
00:58Meanwhile, Mama's still on the mend from her surgery.
01:00A few months ago, I had cysts on my ovaries.
01:03I had to have an emergency hysterectomy.
01:06But hot flashes or not,
01:08could y'all see yourselves getting married here?
01:09For sure.
01:10At the venue tour, June popped up and Trina popped off.
01:14For one, the view is great up here.
01:16And for two, your mom can't come up here.
01:18Bitch, I can go up there.
01:19Bitch, we can play some music up here.
01:21You wouldn't hear.
01:21At the wedding, there's gonna be two mothers of the bride.
01:24So get the hell over it.
01:26Y'all are sleeping on Trina's couch.
01:28She's giving us the house.
01:29The whole house.
01:31That's okay.
01:31I mean, I could write a check.
01:33For a wedding?
01:34But it's got to be, it's got to be.
01:35No, there's no but.
01:35If you're not willing to say yes, I will help.
01:38Please turn around and go back through them double doors.
01:49Are you gonna help?
01:50I mean, you know, like, you gotta be able to do a yes or no question.
01:54Yes or no.
01:55Are you willing to help?
01:56Of course, Jessica.
01:57As my daughter, why wouldn't I help?
01:59I mean, I wouldn't be here.
02:00Duh.
02:00I feel like you're gonna make it about yourself,
02:02and that's not what it's about.
02:03No, I want you to have what you want.
02:05No more arguing.
02:07I wasn't arguing to begin with.
02:08Y'all are gonna argue back and forth with each other anyways.
02:11You don't have to.
02:11But this is about us.
02:13It is.
02:13And if y'all are both wanting to help,
02:16you gotta put your differences aside.
02:19I think we'll have a dang good wedding.
02:23This wedding would be amazing if Trina was not there.
02:25I mean, think about the bridal shower.
02:28It was a fail until I showed up with all the goodies.
02:33I don't want to.
02:36And see, look.
02:37This was a good idea, Trina.
02:39It looked like we were having fun.
02:40It's time for us to go, and we can talk about this another day.
02:44Thanks, Genebug.
02:48That was crazy.
02:50What?
02:51You just said, I'm gonna write a check.
02:53I mean, I thought we weren't doing that anymore.
02:55Sometimes my mouth ever lose my ass, as you like to say.
02:57And it's not even the fact about the money.
03:00It's just, like, things like that should be talked about,
03:02and it's the principle.
03:03Especially, like, how all of that just went down.
03:05And then you're just gonna write a check.
03:09Like...
03:09Well, I didn't then say what kind of check I was gonna write.
03:12I didn't say the amount.
03:14They're gonna expect money.
03:15I mean, come on, bro.
03:16Well, well.
03:17Sometimes you gotta say that you don't mean like writing checks.
03:25Try to have a nice lunch.
03:27Y'all go in there.
03:28Go ahead.
03:29Oh, have a...
03:30Oh, y'all hold the door.
03:31Hello.
03:32Welcome to Fat Boys.
03:33Hi.
03:35That's huge.
03:36And the salmon.
03:37Oh.
03:39Is it good?
03:40Mm-mm.
03:41What do you think made her change her mind and say she'd do it?
03:44Trying to one-up you.
03:45Think about it.
03:46You just said we could have your house.
03:48I mean, even if she's trying to one-up me,
03:50it'd be lovely if she paid for it,
03:52but I'm not gonna believe it till I see it.
03:55Are you?
03:56No, but I mean, she did say she was in front of Justin,
03:59so he's not gonna let her go back on her word.
04:02I don't trust her no further than I can throw her.
04:07But see, Trina, we're not supposed to just say things
04:10that we don't mean.
04:11Did you really just hear what you said?
04:13Just like Trina, you really think they gonna give that house
04:15to them for free?
04:17Sometimes we're just supposed to say things we don't mean.
04:19Like, so we're supposed to lie.
04:23You know, you just up and agreed to write this check for this wedding,
04:27and that's just something you can't just back out of.
04:30Uh, I mean, it's my money, and it's my daughter.
04:33Just trying to one-up Trina.
04:35That ain't like you're just going to get your hair did.
04:37You're going to pay for a whole wedding.
04:40I just can't win with you.
04:42I have a lot going on, thinking about a lot.
04:45You know what I'm saying?
04:45You have a lot going on.
04:47Yeah.
04:48No, it's we have a lot going on.
04:50Fighting it all.
04:51You can't get nothing through to you.
04:58Still makes me a little leery about her wanting to help
05:01because how she's treated Cheyenne.
05:03That's the parts I don't trust of her.
05:05She doesn't like me.
05:06Yes, she loves you and everything,
05:08but she could make this like the worst wedding ever.
05:29Hey!
05:31Hey!
05:33What?
05:33Are you really not coming to me?
05:36No.
05:39Sometimes you got to just sleep on the couch,
05:41especially after the date we had today
05:43with this whole wedding venue.
05:45Yeah, that was a disaster.
05:47Like, just trying to one-up the other one, too,
05:50I feel like, because I don't even know
05:51if she's going to write this check she was talking about.
05:54You know?
05:55And I feel like if she backs out with the other ones,
05:58they ain't going to invite us.
05:59I mean, this is all turning into a show.
06:03I think I'm just going to sleep it off.
06:04I pray and hope tomorrow's a whole lot better.
06:08I don't really understand what Justin's problem is.
06:11You know what I'm saying?
06:11I mean, maybe sometimes I do say that,
06:14I mean, I shouldn't say, but don't we all do that?
06:17And I mean, he's all like huffy-puffy,
06:19don't want to talk or whatever.
06:21But I mean, is what it is, ain't what it ain't
06:24at the end of the day.
06:25You know what I'm saying?
06:33What you in here making?
06:35Benny weenies.
06:36You putting brown sugar in it?
06:39Just let me make my homemade Benny weenies.
06:41Oh, OK.
06:42All right then, my bad.
06:43I guess you don't need no help then.
06:45Nope.
06:46I woke up this morning and I thought that me and Junebug
06:50was actually going to have a conversation about,
06:52you know, what transpired yesterday.
06:54And like always, she just dismisses it and shoos me away.
07:08You know, now it's my right side, so it's like .
07:13Give me a minute, god damn.
07:14Yeah, because I'm about to spray down because it hurts so bad.
07:17Hey, you want to sit down?
07:19Oh, it's just hurting.
07:20It's just like, ugh.
07:21I'm like, ugh.
07:23Is this what y'all are seeing?
07:25Yeah.
07:25Lovely parts to my body.
07:27You can, you want to?
07:28No, no, no, no.
07:30But y'all are going to see what's going on.
07:33It's OK.
07:33It'll take some time.
07:34Oh.
07:36Oh, it makes me shake.
07:38It's like, oh.
07:39I've had a lot of pain in my body like here lately.
07:42Sometimes I can't get up out of bed.
07:45I feel like somebody is like taking my body with a rag
07:47and like ringing me out.
07:49And this is frustrating.
07:52And I haven't been really wanting anyone to know
07:54because I do think it's something serious
07:56and that's what worries me.
07:59Pretty bad.
08:00Yeah.
08:02Yeah.
08:03Oh.
08:04Yeah.
08:09Because pumpkin Julie hasn't seen it either as bad as it's been.
08:14The pain is just like jumping.
08:15It's just, it's been on my right side the last two months.
08:18Here we go again.
08:19Like, I need a minute.
08:20Like, I'm pushing myself like to hold this, to hold that.
08:23Like, I was like, can you give me just a minute?
08:24I said, the pain is just like jumping.
08:27June literally has me taking her from doctor to doctor to doctor.
08:31And she has a long history of ignoring her doctors.
08:34It's almost like you're having basically a mini stroke.
08:37I think it would be a good idea for you to come with us
08:39and get checked out.
08:40No, I'm not.
08:41June.
08:41No, I am, no, I am not.
08:43I recommend you go eat cheese and chocolate.
08:45Look what she ate today.
08:46German chocolate cake.
08:47And chocolate brownie.
08:49And chocolate brownie.
08:50I need me some chocolate doughnuts.
08:52Can't have chocolate, June.
08:54You're my caregiver and caregivers do what I want them to do.
08:58And it's been extremely frustrating for me.
09:02I don't know what else you want to do.
09:04Hold on, I need a minute.
09:05It hurts so bad that I'm about to jump out of my goddamn skin.
09:08You want me to take you to the hospital?
09:09No.
09:10Then what do you want me to do?
09:11Nothing.
09:12Anytime you do hurt, I say, okay, June, let's go to the hospital.
09:15No, I don't want to go to the hospital.
09:16I don't really think I'm okay.
09:17I just need a moment.
09:18It's hurting so bad when I became clean.
09:21I was on a walker for two and a half years.
09:25Two and a half years because I kept falling.
09:27I couldn't walk from here to you without a walker.
09:30Oh, God.
09:35And then all of a sudden, it was like, boom, the symptoms went away.
09:38And then, boom, now they're coming back.
09:40Maybe drugs, amount of drugs, two hours of cocaine that I did a day.
09:45Maybe.
09:46That's not.
09:46I don't know.
09:47We can't keep blaming it on drugs.
09:49I don't know.
09:50But my issues happened is when I became clean.
09:53No.
09:53You started noticing them because you were clean.
09:55Because you were clean and level-headed to understand, oh, this hurts.
09:59No, I don't know where it is.
10:00You've been savered almost six years.
10:02I'm not safe.
10:02And it's getting worse.
10:03So, yes, it scares me.
10:06When my legs swole so bad and I barely can lift them or they're numb like they are right
10:12now, I can't move this foot.
10:14I'm already going to lose my sight at some point.
10:17I don't want to be paralyzed.
10:19Nobody's told you you were going to be paralyzed.
10:23You haven't even been diagnosed yet with nothing.
10:26That's why I tell you not to be a Google doctor.
10:29Listen, June always tries to go on the internet and look up every symptom that she has.
10:34And then she calls Alana with a million ridiculous questions instead of just listening to what her certified doctor tells
10:42her to do.
10:42It's like...
10:45You don't think all these surgeries you've had over these years has anything to do with it?
10:49Honestly, them taking out my hormones.
10:51Your doctor told you in the past you had hormones.
10:54I understand that.
10:56Now you don't.
10:57But the hormones like what you're not understanding.
10:57So if your leg hurts, no, I do.
10:59If your leg hurts, it's going to hurt ten times worse.
11:01The hormones, right?
11:02When we left that doctor's office, you started off on a .25 milligram.
11:07Two weeks into this, it was too much.
11:09Damn it, that make me feel weird.
11:11It did.
11:13But if you would have gave it like a month, I think it would have helped you.
11:16I really do.
11:17I've really been up, honestly.
11:18But, you know, it does get to a point to where it gets aggravating because we've been to doctors and
11:23you just don't listen.
11:25When we tell you to sit down and prop your leg, oh, I got to do this real quick.
11:29It ain't just my leg.
11:30It ain't just my leg.
11:32I do because I don't want to be dependent on somebody.
11:36I've never been that tough.
11:37Then you should have not got married, bitch.
11:43Coming up on Mama Jean.
11:45Be nice if we got something like this one day, some land.
11:47I just got a divorce, so I'm not really trying to put a ring back on my finger.
11:52Hey, Lana.
11:52What's going on?
11:53But I need to ask you if you can help me out.
11:55She needs to really take this serious.
11:57She could die.
11:58I'm not wanting you to look bad.
12:00Who said that?
12:01That's fine.
12:01I'll be the .
12:03Are y'all even both still happy or what?
12:13There's some days when I don't get up off that couch or whatever or get out of bed because I'm
12:18hurting.
12:19But when we tell you to sit down and prop your leg, oh, I got to do this real quick.
12:22It ain't just my leg.
12:24So, like, what do you want us to do?
12:26Because I'm trying to do what I can do because I don't want to be dependent on somebody.
12:30I've never been that tough.
12:31Then you should have not got married, bitch.
12:33Because that's selfish.
12:34But that's also not.
12:35No, it's selfish.
12:36That's not being selfish.
12:37Yes, it is.
12:37Just being independent, knowing that you're going to lose your independence one day.
12:41No, it's not.
12:41Because you've never been to the point that you've lost your vision.
12:44And since I've been with you, my vision has got worse.
12:47Okay, but then I didn't leave.
12:48I'm still here.
12:49So then you're still playing this game of, oh, my God, I'm independent.
12:53I don't want to put that on you.
12:55I'll look like the ass .
12:56That's okay.
12:57I didn't say you had to be an ass .
12:59No, no.
13:00I'm going to be an ass now because it's going to be made look out that, yo, he don't give
13:04a .
13:05I'm not saying anything.
13:06I didn't say that you did.
13:08I'm in, I'm.
13:09You don't have to.
13:10I'm not wanting you to look bad.
13:12Like I try to tell you all the time, Justin's not a idiot.
13:14Just because Justin don't speak about things.
13:16I'm not wanting you to look bad.
13:17Who said that?
13:18I'll be the ass .
13:19I didn't say anything about making you look .
13:22I don't want to make you look bad.
13:23It don't happen when everybody ain't here.
13:25You know, I do love June, but sometimes she just gets me so mad.
13:29I just don't need to even be around this negative space because it's only going to make matters worse.
13:36Justin, this whole thing went sideways wasn't intended to be.
13:39Well, I know.
13:39What I think is happening.
13:40No, but let's be real here.
13:41I don't want anything to be making you look.
13:43No, let's be real for a second because when nobody's been in this mother f***ing house, you walk around this
13:48goddamn house with a house full of people or when there ain't.
13:50So tell the f***ing truth.
13:51I know that, but they know that.
13:54No, they don't.
13:55No, they don't.
13:56They don't see everything.
13:57That is true.
13:58They don't.
13:59That's true.
13:59Well, nobody sees everything.
14:01So they don't see how you act when it comes to bills or other things.
14:05They don't see that.
14:06But I'm also not the villain.
14:08You really just don't get how far you really push people to the edge sometimes, do you?
14:12Well, you know what?
14:13When you fall off that ledge, then don't hurt yourself.
14:15If I fall, I'm taking you with me.
14:17And marriage ain't easy sometimes and it ain't butterflies and rainbows, b***h.
14:21Not with you.
14:23I'm just saying you are a negative person, Junebug.
14:26You are so negative.
14:27You look at the bad things and everything.
14:29I give y'all 110%.
14:30I'm not saying that you don't give 110%.
14:32Honestly, like, I mean, I just, I really do appreciate you.
14:36You've done a lot.
14:37Like, you've done a lot for the kids.
14:38You've done a lot for the grandkids.
14:39You've done a lot for Anna.
14:40You've done a lot for me.
14:41Like, I tell you that all the time.
14:43You know?
14:44Other things are going on.
14:46You know, every kid, we have all this.
14:49Like, I always deal with my feelings myself.
14:53Besides my health and my vision and our relationship,
14:58a lot of, like, plays on me with that one.
15:01With KDP upstairs, it really does.
15:05And people don't realize that.
15:06There's a lot that I see here and hold back that y'all don't even
15:12know half the stuff.
15:13June, I know you appreciate me, but sometimes, you know,
15:16you don't listen to the doctors.
15:18You don't do what you're supposed to do.
15:20Is June's way or the highway?
15:21No.
15:22This is probably one of the biggest fights in almost five years
15:25that I've had with Justin.
15:26So I don't know if he's just going to, like, walk away,
15:29if he's going to, like, work it out.
15:31Like, if you want to leave, you can walk right out that door
15:34just like you walked in the door.
15:35Is that what I want?
15:37No.
15:37But I'm not going to sit here and beg you to stay
15:41when you don't want to stay.
15:43I've told you this a hundred times.
15:45I have been scared of, like, what the possibilities could be.
15:49My health.
15:50All of that.
15:51There's a lot.
15:53So, like...
15:54Well, you can be scared.
15:57All this fighting with Justin is making it worse.
15:59It's causing stress on my body.
16:02I mean, Justin just don't understand that, I guess.
16:04I think he done forgot that a couple days ago
16:07I had blood drawn by a nurse practitioner
16:09that I really like a lot
16:11and hopefully she'll get some answers.
16:13And Justin will finally get off my back.
16:15And this doctor, I'm excited about going too.
16:19I'm nervous about what she's going to say,
16:20but I'm excited because then I can move forward
16:23to the next thing that's going on in life.
16:26Okay.
16:28Listen to what the they tell you to do.
16:55I'm excited.
16:57You are.
16:58Yeah.
17:00Excited for what?
17:01It's Riley's Foilers.
17:04You know, I'd do, like, a good little adventure with you.
17:07I know you do.
17:08I do.
17:09Let's do it.
17:14Let's do it.
17:15Let's do it.
17:19Let's do it.
17:19Let's do it.
17:20Let's do it.
17:21Let's do it.
17:23Oh.
17:30It still makes me feel young and it makes me feel appreciated,
17:33especially because coming out of a 10-year relationship
17:36where Josh didn't really want to do anything,
17:38most of the times we were at the house,
17:40Darren actually does want to do things
17:42with and without the kids.
17:43He's always very present.
17:45He's always down to plan something that I want to do.
17:49So for me, having that is very nice.
18:01Having a good time?
18:02Mm-hmm.
18:02Yeah, you do look pretty sexy out there.
18:05Not too shabby off, covered in dirt and dust and...
18:09Yeah.
18:11Yeah, grime.
18:13I'm having too much going on.
18:15Give me a kid.
18:15I'm gonna buy one.
18:20It's pretty hot.
18:21Oh, it is hot.
18:23It'd be nice if we got something like this one day,
18:25some land with all the kids, about 20 acres,
18:30let them up half the side of the yard,
18:32and make a dirt bike track.
18:34Yeah, like, you'd probably be out there with them.
18:36Yeah, 100%.
18:38100%.
18:39You don't think we should get 20 acres?
18:42I mean, yeah, eventually.
18:44Wrap around the porch.
18:46That way, when we're, like, 60 years old,
18:48you can bring my coffee in a rocking chair.
18:49We can just rock.
18:51Like, I don't know if he's at a stage where maybe he wants to take this relationship to the next
18:56level,
19:25but I'm telling you right now,
19:26I need y'all can go ahead.
19:27I'll catch y'all.
19:28Come on, boo.
19:29Well, kiss my mama.
19:30I'm gonna leave you.
19:32And what'd you say now?
19:34I need you to come get me.
19:36What's, like, what's going on?
19:38I just need to get the up out of here.
19:41I need you to tell Darren that I will make it up to him later.
19:44This better be for real,
19:45because, like, me and Darren really are having fun.
19:47Like, he's already out there now.
19:49Okay, well, I'll buy you tickets for another night.
19:51Oh, my gosh.
19:52Well, okay, Jimbo.
19:54Bye, Jimbo.
20:02Ready now?
20:03No.
20:04You ready?
20:05Hold on.
20:05I gotta go get my mama.
20:07So I'm gonna have to drop you off at home.
20:08What?
20:09What'd I say?
20:10I'm not gonna get Junebug right now.
20:12We're riding four-wheelers.
20:13Yeah, I tried to explain that to her,
20:15but she said her and Justin are fighting.
20:16Like, you're being so for real right now.
20:18I let you know my mama was a train wreck
20:19before you came home.
20:20I'm fixing to throw a temper tantrum.
20:22No, Buki.
20:23I'll make it up to you.
20:25Tonight?
20:28Okay, we can leave.
20:30Okay, come on.
20:32Coming up on Mama June.
20:34Guess who's wanting to help now?
20:35June.
20:36She's trying to outdo Trina.
20:39When I try to speak up and say anything,
20:41it's like you try to stop me from speaking.
20:43I know you're not used to having a good man in your life,
20:45but be appreciative before you lose him.
20:48When they heard you become a life expert?
20:50We have a little disagreement,
20:51and we're over it, like, the same day.
20:54If you and Dan last four or five years,
20:56then come talk to me.
21:12So we've got a prenatal visit today.
21:13Okay, she's 32 weeks.
21:15So we'll just get vitals, history, and listen to the baby.
21:19Hey, Whitney.
21:20Hi.
21:20How are you doing today?
21:21Good.
21:21We have a student with us.
21:22This is Alana.
21:23Hi, Alana.
21:24I love my internship at the birthing center.
21:27Eventually, you know, I want to work with babies,
21:29or at least in pediatrics,
21:30so it really gives me, like,
21:32real patient interaction experience.
21:34Blood pressure first.
21:37I got, like, 122 over 80.
21:39That's perfect.
21:40Nurse Thompson is definitely going to have a nice ring to it.
21:43Okay, so if you want to hold ultrasound gel,
21:45we are going to listen to the baby now.
21:47All right, put some on here.
21:50Like a little bit?
21:51A lot?
21:51Yep, that's perfect.
21:53Okay.
21:54And then be right there.
21:56Oh, my God.
21:57At 140 right now, which is perfect.
22:00Having a party in there.
22:02Beautiful.
22:03Well, we'll see you at your next visit.
22:05All right, thank you.
22:06All right, nice to meet you.
22:07Thank you for letting me come in.
22:08Yeah, absolutely.
22:09You did great.
22:29Hello?
22:30Hey, Lana.
22:32What you doing?
22:33I'm at my internship.
22:34I hate to call and ask you something,
22:36but I need to ask you if you can help me out.
22:38What's going on?
22:40Your mama's health is, like, becoming a big issue,
22:42and she won't listen to nobody around here.
22:45The doctors tell her to do something
22:46and she doesn't do it, you know.
22:48She's got the answer for everything.
22:50And about the only person she'll listen to is you.
22:52She's complaining about headaches all the time.
22:55She's sleeping more than normal.
22:57You know how she's always had problems with her left side?
23:00Even the left side's swelling all the time.
23:02Well, now it's went over to the right side
23:04and the right side is swelling up.
23:06That sounds really serious.
23:07Her going numb in her whole body
23:09is, like, signs of a freaking stroke.
23:12She's got an appointment coming up in a few days,
23:15and I was hoping that you could come down here
23:18and, like, go back there with her,
23:19and because you are in medical school and all,
23:22you understand it more
23:23and see what's really going on.
23:26You know, I would not be asking you
23:28to come all the way home if it wasn't serious.
23:31Somebody needs to listen to that doctor
23:33because we all know Mama,
23:34and she will downplay a lot.
23:36I could really use your help.
23:38Oh, my gosh.
23:42Okay.
23:44Thank you so much.
23:45I really do appreciate it.
23:46I'll take care of everything.
23:48I'll text you all the information.
23:50I'll get it all together and send it over.
23:53Okay.
23:54Bye.
23:54All right.
23:55Bye.
23:57Bye.
24:05Sushi?
24:06Yep, my face.
24:07What are we going to eat?
24:07Eel?
24:08Yeah, I'm going to get you to try some new stuff.
24:10No, the hell you're not.
24:12You sit right here, sweetheart.
24:15All righty.
24:16The way that it works,
24:17you just grab your favorite plates off
24:18and at the end, add the plates to your tab, okay?
24:20Okay.
24:21Now, you do order everything else on the tablet, though.
24:23Okay, gotcha.
24:25All right, back, okay?
24:26Okay.
24:27See, this is kind of fancy.
24:29What you want?
24:30And jerry-yarky steak.
24:31You want this shrimp tempura.
24:32I know that.
24:34They got a squid salad.
24:35Do you want that?
24:36No.
24:38I got a teriyaki chicken plate.
24:40Yeah.
24:40Raw tuna with rice.
24:42Oh.
24:44I'm here to eat my feelings,
24:46because Justin, I pissed me off.
24:47I'm not here to die of raw sushi.
24:53This I think you might like, too.
24:56Mmm.
24:57Junie bug.
25:00Please pick up your meal.
25:01After picking up your meal,
25:02remember to press the button on the screen
25:04so I can get back to work.
25:04This is fancy.
25:05That's your shrimp tempura,
25:07and then this is your rice.
25:10Golly.
25:12Please enjoy your meal.
25:13I ain't going back.
25:14Bye.
25:15I've been to some fancy restaurants all over the United States,
25:20but I'm trying to figure out in backwoods, Georgia,
25:22that this robot is going to deliver my food and know where to go.
25:27Like, what?
25:31Look.
25:32Now serving table 204.
25:38Yeah, these are your pork buns.
25:41And you're not getting a tip because you're not a human?
25:44It feels like the world is going to robotic,
25:47and they're just getting rid of us humans.
25:48So what is it going to be, robot seedy?
25:53This went bad.
25:55Justin made that.
25:57That's good.
25:58He's like a dope.
25:59Speaking of Justin,
26:00y'all clearly are beefing.
26:01What's the problem?
26:02He's beefing because of a medical issue you use,
26:04and, like, I don't ever listen to everybody.
26:06You don't.
26:06He's correct.
26:08You just be, like, trying to self-medicate,
26:10like, with vitamins or whatever,
26:12and sometimes, like, vitamins can't help everything, Jumbo.
26:15But then, he wants to talk about,
26:17are you just trying to control, like, the situation?
26:20I don't include him in certain decision-making and all this.
26:24Bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah.
26:25Like, ugh.
26:26I mean, I guess y'all just really need to talk it out.
26:29I feel like Justin does a lot for Mama.
26:32Like, he takes KDP back and forth to school.
26:35He drives Mama around.
26:36He cleans the house.
26:37He takes care of all of Mama's medical stuff.
26:39This, this, that, and the third.
26:40I know you're not used to having a good man in your life,
26:43but you better get used to it
26:45and be appreciative before you lose him.
26:49I mean, like, my thing is, though,
26:50like, are y'all even both still happy or what?
26:58Coming up on Mama Jean.
27:01What the hell are you doing here?
27:03Fancy seeing you here.
27:04I'm determined to make sure that she listens to that doctor.
27:07I am a little bit nervous
27:08to see what these test results have to say.
27:10So it is concerning.
27:12This could end really badly.
27:19I mean, like, my thing is, though,
27:20like, are y'all even both still happy or what?
27:26I mean, Justin's been through a lot and like that,
27:29but, like, I mean, I don't know.
27:30I was sitting there arguing all day
27:32over the same that I argued about three days ago.
27:34Yeah, but sometimes with you,
27:35I think it is just kind of like talking in a circle.
27:37Maybe Justin feels like he can't get his point across.
27:40I'm going to be real with you.
27:42Like, it is trauma from my past of arguing so much.
27:46Sugar Bear, please.
27:47That's all I got to say.
27:50If you keep following me, I'm leaving.
27:52Bye.
27:53I don't want to draw with you.
27:55You don't care anymore.
27:56Because you don't care.
27:57And I'm just one that I would just
27:59am not a confrontational person,
28:02and I don't like to argue,
28:03and it just brings me back to the trauma of relationships
28:06that I've been in the past.
28:07That is my trigger,
28:09and I shut down.
28:11That's my mechanism.
28:12You just need to try to figure it out with Justin.
28:14Like, you need to kind of let some of that old go
28:17and some of your old habits go.
28:19And it's like, I definitely told Darren,
28:21like, at some point, we have to let that go.
28:24We have a little disagreement,
28:26and we're over it, like, the same day.
28:28When the hell did you become a life expert,
28:31like, relationship expert?
28:32Because, baby, y'all are fresh.
28:34We've been together for a year.
28:36It's not fresh.
28:38I know everything cannot be as perfect
28:40as Pumple says it is.
28:41I personally think, you know,
28:43Darren and Pumpkin are moving way too fast.
28:46She just got a divorce.
28:47She just jumped into a new relationship.
28:50I mean, they're over there talking,
28:51like, it's great over here.
28:52I love it over here.
28:55If you and Darren last four or five years,
28:58then come talk to me.
29:00Things are kind of, like,
29:01almost too good with Darren.
29:02Life freaks me out a little bit.
29:05Yeah.
29:06She wants to try to flip the script on me.
29:08Like, no, girl, I am happy.
29:10Like, do we have a spit or spat here and there?
29:13Like, a thousand percent, every couple does,
29:15but I don't need her advice.
29:18I'll tell you what,
29:18you stress me out.
29:20I really, I don't.
29:23I can see where Justin's coming from.
29:38Come on, Grammy.
29:40Park that thing.
29:44Oh, hi.
29:46Hi there.
29:47Howdy doodly.
29:49You like doughnuts?
29:51Yeah.
29:54You want, you want a drink?
29:56Sure.
29:56What is this?
29:58Coffee?
29:58Coffee, yeah.
30:00I've been wanting to talk to Josh for a while now.
30:02I mean, he's been around this family
30:04and knows more about it than anybody else.
30:06And I need some help navigating this mama drama stuff.
30:09So I decided to stop by his office,
30:11which is really just his truck
30:13in the back of a construction site.
30:14You want a gun?
30:15What is this, like a cinnamon bun?
30:17That's a honey bun.
30:18Honey bun?
30:20Oh my God.
30:22Best lunch break ever, ain't it?
30:25Oh my God.
30:27I'm gonna go back in here sweating
30:27and smell like doughnuts.
30:30Anything smells better than the back of this car.
30:31Hmm.
30:32So how was Colorado?
30:34How was Lonnie?
30:35It was good.
30:36Like, I had to explain to her that
30:38the only reason I went ghost
30:42was that I didn't want to drag her
30:43into Monoponga's divorce.
30:44You could have just picked up the ball
30:46and I'm like, hey, I'm okay.
30:47Just to let you know.
30:48I'm sorry for being selfish with my time
30:50and not reaching out.
30:52And I'm taking accountability for it
30:54by sitting here and talking to you about it.
30:55I kept my feelings to myself
30:57instead of just letting her know
30:58what was going on
30:59instead of just like,
31:00hey, this is where I'm at.
31:02I'll hit you up when I feel better.
31:03And that's kind of how she felt
31:05like I just disappeared.
31:06And it was emotional for me
31:07because I never wanted to make Alana feel that way.
31:10Like, it just started falling apart
31:11and I just let everything else
31:12kind of fall apart with it.
31:14I mean, but y'all are good now?
31:15Yeah, I hit her up when I got back here.
31:17Run ragged from everything, really.
31:20You want to know about running ragged?
31:23So Trina plans this whole thing,
31:24and you know, we go look at venues.
31:26Guess who shows up?
31:28The June bus.
31:29And how did she even know where y'all were at?
31:32She tracked my location.
31:33Oh.
31:34She shows up.
31:36So we finally just told her.
31:37Trina offered me and Cheyenne her house for free.
31:40And you know, June always wants to be number one.
31:43So she didn't want to pay for the wedding.
31:45But guess who's wanting to help now?
31:46June bus.
31:47June.
31:48She's trying to outdo Trina.
31:50Well, I'll just pay for the whole goddamn thing.
31:51That there is some parts, you know,
31:53that aren't too good about her helping.
31:55You know, if June's paying,
31:56she wants what she wants.
31:59You know, you've seen your wedding in Vegas.
32:00Like, it was June threw up.
32:03Because she paid for it.
32:05June did pay for mine and Pumpkin's wedding.
32:08But it did come with strings attached.
32:10I'll pay for the wedding.
32:11Yes.
32:12But in Vegas.
32:13I don't want to get married in Vegas.
32:15My friends ain't in Vegas to watch me get married.
32:17That's everybody.
32:18Come on.
32:18Give it up for this beautiful couple.
32:20We went where June wanted to go.
32:22All right, let's go, y'all.
32:23Let's hear it.
32:23We ate what June wanted to eat.
32:26We did what June wanted to do.
32:27So if Jessie does want June to pay for her wedding,
32:30she better be ready to have the wedding June wants.
32:33Well, you know, I'm thinking,
32:36and I don't do that a lot,
32:38get her to help with where y'all are having the wedding at
32:42by seeing what she likes.
32:45What does June like more than anything?
32:48Go on the most every damn year.
32:51It doesn't matter what season.
32:53The beach.
32:54Oh, the beach.
32:55Well, I can bring it up as, like, you know,
32:57Mama, you had the best, the beautifulest wedding ever.
33:00Like, it's my dream wedding.
33:01Sunset.
33:01If I could have one just like that.
33:06Who gives this bride on her wedding day?
33:09Well, we all do.
33:12Josh is right.
33:13I mean, there could be a possibility that Mama doesn't write this check.
33:16And if she does, we don't know how much it could be for her.
33:18It could be $5.
33:20I mean, we really got to think about this.
33:21Me and Cheyenne have always thought about a barn wedding,
33:24but if going to the beach is how we can pony Mama in,
33:27I guess that's what we're going to have to do.
33:28That will win her over.
33:30So, wait, is this you telling me that you and Cheyenne
33:32are wanting to get married on the beach?
33:34Yeah, that sounds great.
33:35All right, so what happened to the venue thing?
33:37You just got through the barn.
33:37Out the window, you just made the best plan ever.
33:40Now I just got to see if Cheyenne's willing to change
33:42from the barn to a beach.
33:45This might be hard.
33:46Oh, my God, you know what she's going to say?
33:49They're getting married on the beach just like me and Jista did.
33:52Sucker.
33:56Coming up on Mama Jean.
34:00I have to ask Vobie all something.
34:02What the ?
34:04I'm going to get one of them things,
34:05like a shot collar you put on a dog,
34:07and every time you say, it's going, ugh.
34:22Cheers.
34:24Ooh, I feel like I'm at the beach right now.
34:29Why are we making such a big deal about it?
34:31We haven't been on a vacation in a while,
34:32so I was bringing in the vacation to the restaurant.
34:36Who was planning a vacation?
34:37We're supposed to be planning a wedding.
34:39All right, y'all.
34:40I have that mojo chicken plate.
34:42Okay.
34:45You're so welcome.
34:46Look how good it looks.
34:47Like, it's got a little festive flower.
34:50What is this?
34:51Like, what are we doing here?
34:52This is not...
34:56You know, I made up with Josh the other day,
34:59and Josh maybe had a good plan.
35:02He said, what does Jean really like?
35:05What's one place she really likes to go?
35:10The beach, boo.
35:12Okay, but why are you telling me that?
35:14I mean, just think about a beach wedding.
35:16What about it, though?
35:17I mean, that's not what we talked about.
35:18We talked about a barn, the rustic, the boho.
35:21But it's the beach.
35:22It's supposed to be our day, not June's day.
35:25It will be our day.
35:26We're just going to get Jean to pay for it.
35:28Your mom said she'd write a check,
35:29so why don't we just take the check
35:30and have a barn wedding?
35:32I know how mama is.
35:33She's not going to pay for everything.
35:35So if we take her to somewhere she likes,
35:37she knows people, and everything will be done.
35:41I mean, what about the decorations?
35:43None of that goes with the beach.
35:44You can take rustic anywhere.
35:47I think what you just don't understand is
35:49I thought we had done made up our mind
35:50what we kind of want more.
35:52Well, we have to find some way to get her to pay for it,
35:54and that's the only way I can think of.
35:55I mean, if we do this,
35:56we can use all our connections in the floor,
35:58so technically a lot of the stuff will be free.
36:01That's true.
36:01I mean, it would help a lot.
36:03Jean helping, people helping.
36:05She might have to add her touch,
36:06but we can keep ours.
36:07If Jean would pay for the whole thing,
36:09that does sound like a good idea.
36:10Exactly.
36:12Even though I wanted the barn wedding,
36:14marrying you on the beach is just as good.
36:16As long as we're getting married,
36:17that's all that matters.
36:20We just got to figure it out.
36:21Yes.
36:22It might involve us having to go to a family dinner.
36:28That's a lot.
36:29So are you down,
36:30or are you going to a family dinner with me?
36:33Who's I guessing?
36:34Let me go ahead and text her.
36:36Go for it. Let me know.
36:38Well, all right, fam.
36:40We'll see y'all at family dinner.
36:45She is.
37:00My body hurts like hell.
37:04Tired.
37:05The brain fog is really bad today.
37:08My chest is hurting.
37:10You know, like,
37:12I don't want to go to sleep.
37:13My body just, like,
37:15is drained,
37:16if that makes sense.
37:18Well, you can't sleep right now.
37:19You got to go to this doctor's appointment.
37:21I know I do.
37:23You can sleep when you get home.
37:24No, you can't really sleep when you get home,
37:26neither.
37:26You got a family dinner.
37:29I'm on my way to go see Dr. Jen to get my lab results from my blood work.
37:34Hopefully she's got some answers for me because I am kind of nervous to see what they had to say.
37:40I mean, you got any questions you're going to ask the doctor today?
37:43You know, there's all kind of answers I want, but, I mean, I'm not going to go in.
37:49But when I try to speak up and say anything, it's like you try to stop me from speaking.
37:55I know me and June be going at it, especially when it comes to her health,
37:59but I really do love June, and I want the best for her.
38:02And hopefully we can get some real answers.
38:05I think I'm just going to leave it to the medical professionals.
38:08Let them figure it out.
38:15You ain't going to go in?
38:16No, I'm going to let you do it.
38:18Call me when you're done.
38:20Sure, I'll see you later.
38:22Love you, too.
38:23Hello.
38:24Hey, I'm June Shannon.
38:26All right.
38:27Have you filled this out online already?
38:29Um, yeah.
38:30Okay.
38:30Have a seat, and they'll be ready for you soon.
38:32Okay.
38:38What the hell are you doing here?
38:52What the hell are you doing here?
38:54Fancy seeing you here.
38:55You decided you wanted to come into town, Nurse Thompson?
38:58Well, little birdie told me that you've been hard-headed.
39:01You haven't been listening to the doctor.
39:03He said that your whole right side was numb.
39:06My right and my left and my legs.
39:08I don't feel good today.
39:09And I don't concern you.
39:10That could be like a sign of a stroke.
39:12I mean, yeah, but I mean, we're trying to figure out answers here.
39:19I don't believe that Justin would ever call me and, like, tell me I need to come home if it
39:24really wasn't that big of a deal.
39:25And I'm determined to make sure that she listens to that doctor.
39:29And she needs to really take this serious, or this could end really badly.
39:34She could die.
39:36Today, you're actually going to listen to the doctor.
39:40I got brain fog today.
39:42Well, if you have brain fog, how are you going to go back and tell everybody else what's going on
39:45with you?
39:46We were here today, husband.
39:48I'm not going to be here every appointment, though.
39:52Like, when did you come in?
39:54I come in this morning.
39:55Don't nobody tell me you're in town.
39:57Well, don't you love a good pop-up visit?
39:59I mean, yeah, but you could have said, hey, mom, I'm coming to town.
40:02No, I wanted to pull a U on you.
40:05The greatest trick in the book on the biggest trickster in the book.
40:08The biggest trickster in the book?
40:09The realest of the realest, you know?
40:13They're ready for you in room three.
40:14Perfect. Thank you.
40:16I mean, I'm not going to lie.
40:17I am a little bit nervous, like, to see what these test results have to say.
40:21And I'm glad Alana's here.
40:23It kind of, like, calms my nerves.
40:24But she is being a little bit bossy.
40:28Now, that's what I would normally sit at anyway.
40:30I only sit on the table when she...
40:31Hey, Charish.
40:32Hi, Harry.
40:33Hey.
40:33How are y'all today?
40:34Well, this is Alana that I've been telling you about.
40:36Hi. Nice to have you here.
40:38I mean, I don't know how much she's really told you,
40:40but her telling me that there was numbness and tingling on all of her body
40:45kind of alerted me that it could be, like, possible signs of a stroke.
40:49Right, right.
40:49That's why I come here with her, and I want to hear what you have to say
40:53because sometimes she'll leave here and she just says, like,
40:56the bare minimum or, like, broadly what you said.
40:59So some of the stuff that we've done, we ran what we call a SID rate.
41:04And so it gives us an indicator if your body has any type of inflammation
41:09because June always explains that she feels like her body's inflamed,
41:14swollen, that type of thing.
41:15Okay.
41:16And so that...
41:17Right.
41:18So that indicator was positive.
41:19Okay.
41:22And then we did an ANA panel on her.
41:25So that indicates autoimmune disorders.
41:28Yeah.
41:28And so basically that's going to tell us if you have some type of process
41:33that's attacking your body, like your body is attacking itself, right?
41:36Right.
41:36It could indicate rheumatoid arthritis.
41:39It could indicate lupus.
41:41And June, yours was positive.
41:46It doesn't specifically tell us what type you have.
41:50What I suggest from that point is that we send you to a rheumatologist
41:54to kind of have them narrow down maybe exactly what is going on with your body.
41:58I knew all this pain was not from my, like, hysterectomy,
42:02but the fact of the matter that I could possibly have lupus,
42:05I mean, that is a scary thing.
42:07Can it kill me?
42:08No.
42:09Can it depilitate me?
42:10Most definitely.
42:11I already am blind, so, like, it could take more of my independency away than ever.
42:19It is concerning.
42:20It is concerning.
