00:00I just found the perfect spot for a cozy night out. Here we are at Crème, it's a small restaurant
00:04near Jules Geoffran in the 18th, and it has a simple menu with seasonal ingredients all coming
00:10from small producers in the region of Normandy. And here everything tastes like a comfort food,
00:15like their bacon and cheese croquettes, which were both perfectly crunchy and soft inside,
00:20or their oeuf parfait, which is a very creamy slow-cooked egg that's served here with potatoes,
00:25sausage, and some mustard seeds. We also got their mushroom dish, which came with a chestnut cream,
00:30as well as some blackcurrant, and this was one of my favorite things I've eaten recently,
00:35and pretty perfect for the cold weather we've been having in Paris this week. I also love their pork
00:39belly, great winter food here again, especially since they made it with a peanut sauce. Then we
00:44obviously tried their cheese plate, but we also had to get their really creative apple dessert. I've
00:49never tried anything like that before, it's a baked apple with a caramelized milk mousse,
00:54and some crunchy bread crumble bits. And I've really loved this place,
00:58so you know I'm gonna add it to my Paris food mat.
