00:02A military officer was arrested for driving under the influence and ramming his car into an e-hailing vehicle,

00:13In a statement, Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department head Zamzuri Issa said
00:19police received a report at 5.38 a.m. about an accident involving a Perodua Alza and a Ford Fiesta.
00:26He said preliminary investigations found that the 31-year-old military officer
00:31drove his Fiesta into the opposite lane and rammed head-on into an Alza,
00:36driven by a 41-year-old e-hailing driver.
00:39He was quoted as saying today that the Alza was carrying two Bangladeshi nationals,
00:44a 22-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman from KLIA,
00:48adding that the male passenger who was seated in the middle of the back seat
00:52was confirmed dead at the scene due to severe head injuries.
00:56Zamzuri said breathalyzer tests found that the Fiesta driver's blood alcohol level
01:01exceeded the allowed limit while his urine tests returned negative.
