00:09Wong said the proposal was based on feedback from residents in her constituency, Sinar Haryan reported.

00:16She said that it was her duty as an assemblyman to raise issues faced by the people in the State

00:23Wong said she was prepared to face any action, including being referred to the Rights and Privileges Committee over the

00:30matter.

00:31Wong faced criticism after raising the proposal during a debate on the Selangor Sultan's address,

00:37where she said the issue of pig farming touched on equality under Article 8, Subsection 2 of the Federal Constitution.

00:44She argued that pig farming should not be singled out from other forms of livestock farming,

00:49as risks involving pollution, hygiene, and public health are similar across all types of farming.
