00:00sitting back. You don't really want it forward like this. Okay, so don't fall on the trap of
00:04letting it go forward. See if that person can keep it back and so the elbow's forward a little bit.
00:10Now, the angle of this is going to be quite crucial. Your first one is almost the most
00:15important one. You start from the back if you want the most amount of restriction.
00:19So I'm going to go from the anchor right back here and I'm going to look forward to, okay,
00:24where do I want to come forward in the front? I want to come around the front here,
00:27at that point there. So if I start from the back, anchor that down. Have a good look at where
00:34you're going to go. Don't come over too far over the top otherwise you won't get enough restriction
00:38there. So here I want to come through the front like that. All right, so I'm going to just rip
00:44it
00:44off here first. So I've got something to grab onto and then I can come through and work out,
00:51okay, I want to be around the front of that shoulder and anchoring down there.
00:57And that's my first one. So as this is a basket weave, your second way to do is actually going
01:03the opposite way. So you want to come from the front of this here and then go over the shoulder
01:10and going backwards, okay, to the shoulder blade. Now what I would do with each taping,
01:18each sort of round of basket weave is test your external rotation, see how much restriction
01:23you've made. So here already we can see she's got a bit of restriction, which is great. So second one,
01:29you want to cover about 50% of that tape. So if I go from the back again,
01:36over that anchor point, I'm going to come further down that way. All right. And this will give me even
01:44more restriction through the front. So if I'm coming through here, a bit of tension on there,
01:50make sure that shoulder blade sits back and come over and down into the front there.
01:57And again, like I said, you can retest that. Did I do enough tension? Have I got the angles right?
02:01Can she externally rotate? Does she feel like she's restricted there? Yes. Great. Remember,
02:06this is the taping underneath. We'll get even more restriction when we put the EAB on later on. So
02:12your last one, again, you're going to come over 50%. Now this one, depending on how tight you've done
02:18all your taping, if you haven't got enough restriction, this one is you're going to crank
02:22up and make a bit tighter. You just have to come around through the front of the shoulder. Make sure
02:28you get down as low as you can there, through there. Measure that out. And you might have to angle
02:34it a
02:34little bit, just with the shape of the tape. May have to change. But from here, I want to crank
02:40this
02:40up a bit. So I want a bit more tension than what I've got before into there. And crank it
02:48over to
02:48there. And again, retest it. All right. See if she can externally rotate. She's pretty blocked there,
02:58which is great. That's what the aim of the tape is.
