00:14In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you and
00:18with your spirit.
00:19We acknowledge our sins, we acknowledge God's amazing love.
00:24You are with us in our weakness, with your strength, Lord, have mercy.
00:28You turn to good everything for those who love you, Christ, have mercy.
00:32Christ, have mercy.
00:33And you call us away from confusion and fear into your love, Lord, have mercy.
00:38Lord, have mercy.
00:39May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:45Amen.
00:45Let us pray.
00:49Grant, we pray, Almighty God, that putting off the old self with all its ways, we may live as Christ
00:56did.
00:57For through the healing, paschal remedies, you have conformed us to his nature, who lives and reigns with you in
01:05the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
01:08Amen.
01:10A reading from the Acts of the Apostles.
01:14Stephen was filled with grace and power and began to work miracles and great signs among the people.
01:21But then certain people came forward to a debate with Stephen, some from Cyrene and Alexandria, who were members of
01:30the synagogue, called the synagogue of the freed men, and others from Cilicia and Asia.
01:36They found they could not get the better of him because of his wisdom and because it was the Spirit
01:43that prompted what he said.
01:45So they procured some men to say, we heard him using blasphemous language against Moses and against God.
01:54Having in this way turned the people against him as well as the elders and scribes, they took Stephen by
02:01surprise and arrested him and brought him before the Sanhedrin.
02:05There they put up first witnesses to say, this man is always making speeches against this holy place and the
02:13law.
02:14We have heard him say that Jesus, the Nazarene, is going to destroy this place and alter the traditions that
02:21Moses handed down to us.
02:23The members of the Sanhedrin all looked intently at Stephen, and his face appeared to them like the face of
02:31an angel.
02:33The word of the Lord.
02:35Thanks be to God.
02:37Alleluia.
02:38Alleluia.
02:40Though princes stood plotting against me, I ponder on your statutes.
02:45Your will is my delight.
02:47Your statutes are my counselors.
02:50Alleluia.
02:51I declare my ways, and you answered.
02:54Teach me your statutes.
02:56Make me grasp the way of your precepts, and I will use on your wonders.
03:02Alleluia.
03:04Keep me from the way of error.
03:06Teach me your law.
03:07I have chosen the way of truth with your degrees before me.
03:12Alleluia.
03:13Alleluia, alleluia.
03:14No one lives on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.
03:19Alleluia.
03:19Alleluia.
03:21The Lord be with you.
03:23And with your spirit.
03:24A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.
03:27Glory to you, O Lord.
03:28After Jesus had fed the five thousand, his disciples saw him walking on the water.
03:34Next day, the crowd that had stayed on the other side saw that only one boat had been there,
03:41and that Jesus had not gone into the boat with his disciples, but that the disciples had set off themselves.
03:50Other boats, however, had put in from Tiberias, near the place where the bread had been eaten.
03:56When the people saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into their boats and crossed to
04:04Capernaum to look for Jesus.
04:07When they found him on the other side, they said to him, Rabbi, when did you come here?
04:12Jesus answered, I tell you most solemnly, you are not looking for me because you have seen the signs, but
04:20because you had all the bread you wanted to eat.
04:23Do not work for bread that cannot last, but work for food that is unused to eternal life.
04:29The kind of food the Son of Man is offering you, for on him the Father, God himself, has set
04:37his seal.
04:38Then they said to him, what must we do if we are to do the works that God wants?
04:46Jesus gave them this answer, this is working for God.
04:50You must believe in the one he has sent.
04:55The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
04:58Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:01In everything, we are called to do God's will, to keep asking the question, what do you want me to
05:09do, God?
05:10Because it is so easy to fall into the trap of self-service, doing what I like, doing what seems
05:17right for me.
05:19But it is what is right for God that we need to search for and avoid the trap of going
05:25into what is right for me,
05:27where am I comfortable, where am I comfortable?
05:30All of us at this time of hope and Easter are called to surrender in full trust and faith,
05:37knowing that God will never ever let us down.
05:58Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for to your goodness we have this bread to offer,
06:03which earth has given human hands and made, it will become for us the bread of life.
06:09Blessed be God forever.
06:35Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
06:39Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
07:01May the Lord accept this sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and glory of his name, for our good
07:07and the good of all his holy church.
07:09May our prayers rise up to you, O Lord, together with the sacrificial offerings,
07:15so that, purified by your preciousness, we may be conformed to the mysteries of your mighty love.
07:26Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
07:31The Lord be with you. And with your spirit.
07:34Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord.
07:37Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God.
07:40It is right and just.
07:42It is truly right and just our duty and our salvation at all times to acclaim you, O Lord.
07:47But in this time, above all, to Lord you yet more gloriously, when Christ our Passover has been sacrificed,
07:54he never ceases to offer himself for us, but defends us and ever pleads our cause before you.
08:01He is the sacrificial victim who dies no more, the lamb once slain who lives forever.
08:07Therefore, overcome with pascal joy, every land, every people exalts in your praise,
08:14and even the heavenly powers with the angelic hosts, sing together the unending hymn of your glory,
08:20as they acclaim.
08:21Holy, holy, holy, holy Lord, God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
08:29Hosanna in the highest.
08:31Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
08:35Hosanna in the highest.
08:37You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
08:41Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
08:43by sending down your spirit upon them like the dewfall,
08:47so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
08:51At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his fashion,
08:57he took bread, and giving thanks, broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying,
09:02Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which will be given up for
09:08you.
09:16In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice,
09:20and once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying,
09:25Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood,
09:30the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
09:34which will be pulled out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
09:39Do this in memory of me.
09:49The mystery of faith, save us, Savior of the world,
09:53for by your cross and resurrection, you have set us free.
09:59Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
10:03we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
10:08giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
10:13Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
10:17we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
10:20Remember, Lord, your church, spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity.
10:26Together with Leo, our Pope, me, your unworthy servant, and all the clergy.
10:32Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection
10:37and all who have died in your mercy.
10:40Welcome them into the light of your face.
10:43Have mercy on us all, we pray,
10:46that with the blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
10:48blessed Joseph, her spouse,
10:50with the blessed apostles,
10:52and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
10:55we may marriage to be coerced to eternal life
10:58and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:05Through him and with him and in him, O God Almighty, Father,
11:09in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
11:11all glory and honor is yours forever and ever.
11:15Amen.
11:18And the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching,
11:21we dare to say,
11:22Our Father, who art in heaven,
11:25hallowed be thy name.
11:26Thy kingdom come,
11:28thy will be done,
11:30on earth as it is in heaven.
11:32Give us this day our daily bread,
11:35and forgive us our trespasses,
11:38as we forgive those who trespass against us.
11:41And lead us not into temptation,
11:44but deliver us from evil.
11:46Deliver us, Lord, we pray,
11:48from every evil.
11:49Graciously grant peace in our days,
11:52that by the help of your mercy,
11:53we may be always free from sin
11:55and safe from all distress,
11:58as we await the blessed hope
12:00and the coming of our Savior,
12:02Jesus Christ.
12:03For the kingdom, the power,
12:04and the glory are yours,
12:06now and forever.
12:07Lord Jesus Christ,
12:08who said to your apostles,
12:10Peace I leave you,
12:11my peace I give you,
12:12look not on our sins,
12:13but on the faith of your church,
12:15and graciously grant her peace and unity
12:17in accordance with your will,
12:20who live and reign forever and ever.
12:21Amen.
12:22The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ
12:24be with you always.
12:25And with your spirit.
12:26Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
12:28Peace be with you all.
12:32Lamb of God,
12:33you take away the sins of the world,
12:36and mercy on us.
12:37Lamb of God,
12:39you take away the sins of the world,
12:41and mercy on us.
12:43Lamb of God,
12:44you take away the sins of the world,
12:47grant us peace.
13:03Behold the Lamb of God,
13:05who takes away the sins of the world,
13:07happy are those who are called
13:08to the supper of the Lamb.
13:10Lord, I am not worthy,
13:11you should enter under my roof,
13:13but only say the word,
13:15and my soul shall be healed.
13:18My Jesus,
13:19I believe that you are present
13:21in the most blessed sacrament.
13:23I love you above all things,
13:24and I desire to receive you into my soul.
13:27Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
13:31commonly, spiritually,
13:32into my heart,
13:33I embrace you as if you were already there,
13:36and unite myself wholly to you.
13:39Never permit me to be separated from you.
13:42Amen.
13:42Let us pray.
13:48Almighty heaven,
13:49living God,
13:51you restore us to eternal life
13:53in the resurrection of Christ.
13:55Increase in us, we pray,
13:57the fruits of this paschal sacrament,
13:59and pour into our hearts
14:00the strength of this saving food.
14:03Through Christ our Lord.
14:05Amen.
14:06The Lord be with you.
14:08And with your spirit.
14:09And may the peace and the blessing
14:10of the Father and of the Son
14:12and of the Holy Spirit come upon you
14:14and remain always with you.
14:15Amen.
14:16Let us go and proclaim
14:18the good news by our lives.
14:20Thanks be to God.
14:22And God bless your day.
14:23God bless your day.
14:24God bless your day.
14:25God bless your day.
14:27God bless your day.
14:31God bless your day.
