00:13times i have no idea what you were doing it was fine the the jason curtain who kind of runs

00:17alumni association good dude asked me to uh to speak as an alum to the radio pictures together
00:25you were doing a whole thing radio and tv uh department and you know students and faculty
00:31and some other people from the alumni department were there so it was cool it was uh i was stressed
00:37because i didn't realize i didn't know how many people would be there i didn't know the setup i
00:42had no idea until i went there on on friday morning and kind of walked the campus and saw the
00:46room and
00:47saw the setup and how different was the campus from when you were there oh much it's it's crazy how
00:53much
00:53it's growing i mean the the the enrollments up at like up 1500 they want to get to 8 000
00:59when i was
00:59there it was less than 6 000 but they're already up to like 7 500 and they want to get

01:03want to top it out around 8 000 but it was it was good man jason curtain's a great dude

01:09the sports information director he was kind of the moderator and you but you did like a presentation
01:14with like pictures and yeah talked about my life talked about us talked about how we got started
01:19mentioned you guys obviously mentioned everybody mentioned the producers mentioned
01:24a bunch of stuff pictures from super bowls you don't love doing that kind of stuff but
01:28did you know i felt i felt obligated um it was fine it wasn't great how many people
01:34i was i was definitely a little nervous on friday morning i couldn't tell not many more than
01:4160 probably 60 or 70 so it felt man oh it wasn't like thousands of people no no it was
01:46just the
01:46radio department but it was fine it was good people have good questions or did you do that you
01:52open it up for questions yeah there was a q a after i the the actual presentation was about 40
01:56minutes
01:57and then it was 20 minutes of q a dan quinn signed a helmet for us nice how far has
02:01wsur come since your
02:03days when you were doing a radio show at salisbury that was on the tv well right when i was
02:08there you
02:09could only hear it on the tv in your dorm now they have they have a tower and it's called
02:13it's not
02:14called wsur anymore it's called wx su maybe something like that but it's it's much different
02:20i mean my old studio is still there but they've expanded everything they've got a podcast department
02:26they've got tv department it's they put a lot of money into it so did you go solo or did

02:31the family family came nice yeah family wanted your old stomping grounds family wanted to come and see
02:37it so we uh we walked around a little bit brought the dog on campus she wasn't happy and then

02:44after that we went down to ocean city got down there weather was great and then i don't know if
02:49you guys talked about it but the reason i was out last tuesday my my uncle dr jack bishop passed

02:55last monday so his funeral was saturday so i had the thing on friday the funeral on saturday
03:02it was just a stressful weekend but it's over dr jack bishop by the way r.i.p 81 years

03:10he was a dentist in talbot county for over 40 years he knew so many people you know in a
03:15small town like
03:16that but he uh it was a good turnout it was really i only met him once or twice i
03:21think you went to
03:21his house 100 we had a great weekend out there in oxford yeah we went out to the house it
03:26was like uh
03:27dallas like south fork that was the house it was like this uh he had a nice property right on
03:32the
03:32water beautiful property he had on the water and he listen this is 30 years ago yep you know when

03:37were like in our 20s and i mean he just seemed like he ran the town he lived the life
03:43that guy lived
03:43the life he did he was goofy but he was a great guy he liked to party it up loved
03:47sports loved golf
03:48yeah played golf with him remember he was like a black belt yep he went skinny dipping naked in
03:53his pool was he your mom's brother or dad's brother dad's brother and then i yeah we're just hanging out
03:59and then the we went on the boat i can't remember where we went went to one of those spots
04:03we went to
04:03like docks or yeah schooners or one of those yeah he's just like wow this guy's got the life
04:09by the way docks is it's a it's a bar restaurant right on the water and the owner loves us
04:15we should do a
04:16freaking show or an appearance down there because it's unbelievable it's not doc walkers it's not doc
04:20walkers no it's not it's not his spot but uh the owner loves us and he said come on down

04:33done i know you hate those sort of things yeah it was it was stressful but i got through it

04:38started talking it was fine because you know the picture started it helps when they just started
04:42asking you questions they started asking me questions yeah but that was 40 minutes in he did 40 minutes
04:46to just uh talking well no the the tim brennan he was asking me questions about how we got started
04:52and oh yeah that that helped okay that helped okay that sounds good but just you know it's a lot

04:58interesting than my weekend i i you know mar always comes in and he he's always ready to recite his
05:02entire weekend i you know i you know i'm close you know whatever i don't remember anything and my
05:07weekend's kind of a blur yeah but not in a sense that was anything super exciting just probably family
05:13things yeah it just kind of happened and then here we are then i don't think we're back yeah and
05:18monday's here like that just like it is every weekend um is this wild the the temperature change
05:23was wild i know that a little windy i mean we knew the temperature change was going to come but

05:28it's wild when it hits you um i know i went for a bike ride yesterday because i was just

05:32i need to get back on this bike and it was rainy but i was determined because i was frustrated

05:38do it on saturday and i just did it anyway and i was like i came back and told my

05:43cold out there she said it's 46 degrees i said well it felt like it felt like 46. it got

05:49think it'd be a little better this week right it's gonna get warmer on thursday but today what to 60
05:54something yeah today about 60 and then tomorrow supposed to be freezing overnight but you know we
05:59won't be outside so don't worry about it it'll be cold tomorrow morning it's wild um yeah friday when
06:04i got down to the beach i mean it was beautiful it was i don't know 75 degrees just beautiful
06:10at ocean city where'd you stay at the old condo tom mooney's condo now but the condo i owned
06:15um oh you're probably all in your fields this weekend yeah it was but the next morning when i took
06:21the dog out for a walk oh my gosh it was 50 degrees yeah and windy it felt awful right

06:28daughter went up to uh cornell uh she's hanging out with coop and the guys and uh it was like
06:3420 degrees colder up in ithaca than what it was here um it was kind of miserable up there this
06:40weekend yeah but but i'm excited because it's nfl draft week it's finally here all right i'm excited
06:46but listen all the nfl gurus these last couple days getting ready for this uh-huh uh there's a big

06:53over the weekend too big trade giants have two picks in the top 10 yep sure how that affects us

06:59yeah definitely i heard giants fans were thrilled because dexter lawrence apparently had his worst
07:03year so now they got two picks in top 10 again they could you know harbaugh is now coaching them
07:10they could go defense defense to really change things they could they could add a weapon to go
