01:40All right, here's what I'm thinking.
01:41I'm thinking of reviewing a figure that I reviewed two years ago,
01:46but in a smaller scale,
01:47because why not?
01:48This is Transformers Prime Cyberverse Starscream.
02:00As you can see here is Starscream in his art mode,
02:03and as you can see, he transforms into a jet,
02:06which is themed to the Transformers Prime CGI look.
02:08Now, a little bit of backstory to this toy,
02:12and why I decided to review this for the two-year anniversary-ish.
02:16Well, the reason why I decided to review this is,
02:20if you go back to my Transformers Prime First Edition Starscream review,
02:25that is the very first review I ever did as the Canadian Reviewer.
02:30So I decided, as a nice little nod to the nostalgia of the Canadian Reviewer,
02:38I decided, hey, why not review this figure?
02:40Anyways, here is Starscream in his alt mode,
02:43and as you can see, again...
02:46Why am I repeating myself?
02:48It's the jet from Transformers Prime.
02:50Anyways, he's got some black detail,
02:53which is really nice, that refers to his cockpit.
02:55Even though it should have been yellow, I think,
02:58it's still fine with me.
03:00It has some little red details,
03:02some different types of gray blended in with this figure,
03:05which gives it that Transformers Prime look,
03:08as the Starscream in Transformers Prime
03:11didn't really have a single gray color,
03:13which I really do like.
03:14It does have the null rays at the bottom,
03:17but you can take them off easily
03:19and have a nice, clean jet.
03:21Well, as clean as it's gonna get.
03:23And yes, I have to do this.
03:25The nose cone is rubber,
03:26so you got a pogo stick!
03:29That's still fun.
03:30Really, the unfortunate side would probably be the legs.
03:34I can tell easily that those are feet,
03:37which is kind of unfortunate.
03:38Not a lot of flaws in the alt mode,
03:40which I really do like,
03:41and he's kind of nice.
03:43I really do like him.
03:44I wish some of the angles were more curved.
03:47It's kind of got a squarish look to it,
03:50and the nose cone is definitely bulky,
03:54but it's understandable when that transforms into the arms.
03:57Still, though, it's a nice-looking jet,
03:59and I really do like it.
04:01I believe I can fly!
04:04So, with that said,
04:05let's go on to the robot mode.
04:34You thought Edward Scissorhands were cool?
04:37Wait till you meet Starscream rubber hands!
04:41I did change some of the settings,
04:43so it might look a little different,
04:44but here is Starscream in his robot mode,
04:46and as you can see,
04:47his robot mode looks okay.
04:50I'm not a big fan of the nose cone
04:52hanging off to the side of the arms,
04:54but do with that what you will.
04:56He's got a double arm joint here on the bar joint,
05:00and the double, double, double, double,
05:03double, double, double, double,
05:04he's got a nice purple Decepticon logo,
05:07which you can barely see,
05:08but it's there!
05:10Believe me.
05:11Look at Mr. Silverface,
05:13and tell me that it's not shaman.
05:15It's cool that he has some leg articulation.
05:18Unfortunately, the kneecaps don't really follow through with that,
05:22but, you know, I don't like the wings
05:26and how it's angled differently,
05:28and it's kind of weird.
05:29Even pulling these out,
05:31it still just looks weird to me.
05:33It doesn't look right,
05:34so I'm constantly like,
05:36but I don't think it's bad.
05:40I wish this nose cone was face down.
05:43I mean, you could do that,
05:44but you'll get the tail butt,
05:48which I guess is a trait.
05:52You can get some menacing poses out of this,
05:55and he's even got a head tilt,
05:56which is really nice,
05:58but he's not really the greatest
06:01when it comes to articulation.
06:03Take a look at some of his weapons.
06:05He's got a couple of Null Rate Blasters,
06:07as they are considered.
06:09Now, they do look huge for this figure.
06:11I do like the side rocket here.
06:14That's pretty cool.
06:15Anyways, also the translucent red is very nice.
06:19It's kind of got a purple-esque look to it as well.
06:22Kind of a purple tint to it,
06:24so it's like raspberry juice.
06:27Anyways, so they do look cool.
06:29They are actually opposites,
06:31so that's very nice.
06:32You can combine them if you want.
06:34They've got a couple of holes and pegs.
06:36They got a hole on the top here,
06:38or on the side, I should say.
06:40A peg on the side here,
06:42and a peg at the bottom,
06:43so that's really cool.
06:44Anyways, you can plug them onto his arms like so,
06:49so that's very nice.
06:51You can plug them in his hand, though.
06:53I'm not exactly...
06:54Actually, the hand look didn't really look too bad,
06:57to be honest,
06:58but I usually just plug them on the side.
07:01I don't know, G1, maybe?
07:04There's something else you can do with those Null Rays,
07:07and I'm sorry,
07:08but I didn't do the research,
07:11so I don't know the link.
07:12Credit to this person right here,
07:15if I find out,
07:17whoever found this out,
07:20but at the time, right now,
07:22I didn't really research it,
07:24so I apologize for that.
07:25But anyways,
07:26I saw something on TFW.
07:28I'll post the link down in the description below,
07:32if I do find it.
07:33However, anyways,
07:34there is actually a way how to connect the Null Ray Blasters
07:38onto Starscream himself.
07:42So, yeah,
07:43you can fold up the arms,
07:45or hands if you want,
07:46but you kind of use the little slots in the back here,
07:52around where the peg is,
07:54and just slide it in.
07:56It's not really the best connection port of them all,
08:01and you kind of have to get them backwards,
08:03because the peg will get in the way
08:05if you put it in this way.
08:08And what I'm saying is,
08:09if you do this,
08:10it just kind of doesn't really want to work
08:13as well as it should.
08:14But, you know,
08:17just like in Transformers Prime,
08:18and it works with the aesthetic of the first edition,
08:24definitely,
08:25you can give him his Null Ray Blasters.
08:28Taking a closer look at him with those,
08:31yeah,
08:31that is really, really good looking,
08:35and he's trying to fall.
08:37There we go.
08:38He does have some red transparent plastic
08:41that's kind of raspberry flavor
08:42around his chest and his back.
08:46I guess that's supposed to be a part of some gimmick
08:49with the bigger machines,
08:52like there was something that's supposed to clip onto the back,
08:55and it make the figure light up.
08:59That would be cool if I had one of the vehicles
09:02that would do that,
09:03but unfortunately,
09:04I do not,
09:05so...
09:06So that is pretty much it for the robot mode.
09:10I mean,
09:10there's not much more to be said.
09:12I mean,
09:12he does have his red crown,
09:14which is nice.
09:15Mmm,
09:150.1 to the Cyberverse figure.
09:18Take that first edition.
09:19Anyways,
09:19that is pretty much it for Transformers Prime,
09:23Cyberverse Starscream.
09:24Let's go to the overall review.
09:31So overall,
09:33we're having Transformers Prime,
09:35Cyberverse Starscream.
09:37I would say I would,
09:39in the sense that it's okay,
09:40and if you want it,
09:41but if you don't really have to have it,
09:43then you're not really missing out on much.
09:46It's not really a figure that's like,
09:48you need to have it,
09:50it has something unique to it,
09:51that is just,
09:52oh,
09:52but if you really like Transformers Prime Starscream,
09:56and you're really into the Cyberverse scale,
09:58I would definitely recommend this figure.
10:00He's got some pretty cool weapons.
10:01He's not the best looking figure,
10:03but it is a Cyberverse figure,
10:05and I feel that they did a pretty good job,
10:08but I feel like they could have definitely improved on it.
