02:21this is the Canadian version, but at least it's not like a generic picture of Orion Pax.
02:28So here are the three Minicons. We have Windshear over here, we have Runaway over here, or no,
02:36not Runaway, Runway, and then Heavy Tread, which I think is one of the coolest. It's also one of
02:42the simplest. I think that my favorite out of the three is this one. It's a personal choice,
02:48mainly between these two, but I think this one is the worst of the bunch, and that's the first one
02:54we're going to take a look at. It's just a simple little helicopter. You know, it's got a Gatling
03:00gun on the front, a nice yellow cockpit, and a Minicon logo right there. The helicopter blades
03:07do rotate, of course, as well as the back ones. Oh yeah, and there's the problem. This is loose
03:15and pops off way too easily on mine. Apparently, on some people, it's a lot easier said than that.
03:24I don't know what I'm saying anymore. It's tighter on theirs than it is on mine, but for mine,
03:32it's just, it pops off every, like, two seconds when I'm touching this.
03:40He's got a Gatling gun. Hi, mofos. It's a big Gatling gun. Of course, you can detach
03:48that. It's got a Minicon port right there, and it's got a Minicon port right there, so
03:53even if you plug on the gun, you still have that Minicon port thingy going on. Do you like
04:00it? You like me now? Hello. Runway, I think, is really cool. I like the colors. I like the lock.
04:06It's just very simple, and it gets the job done. Most of the robot is on the bottom. However,
04:13I still do really like this. I like the rockets, and I like that there's no extra weapon kibble.
04:21This has extra weapon kibble. It's the only one that does with the Gatling gun, but you know what?
04:27It still works for that one, and this actually incorporates into the alt mode. Taking that off,
04:33I mean, you got that, so that still looks fine. He's got a rubber nose cone. He's a pogo stick.
04:39Ha ha, reference. On the side of the wing, not this one, he's got a Minicon logo. Whoever saw that
04:47come. He's got a Minicon port on the top, as well as a Minicon port hole at the bottom.
04:55Heavy tread is really cool, although my flaw with this is these tabs don't like to be plugged in
05:01as well as they should. It's because I need to shave off a little bit of plastic right in here
05:07to really get that to close, but other than that, this is really nice. It gets the job done. It's
05:13very
05:14simple, and I like the tank mode. Unfortunately, there is no real articulation. You can go up and
05:20down on the turret, but that's pretty much it. A little port right there, so really cool.
05:26Minicon logo, yeah! Might I just say that these figures go really well with your
05:32generation's Armada Starscream. Ooh! I just love plugging the swords on the thrusters of
05:42runway to give them a mega sword. Ooh! Destruction! Instruments of Destruction!
05:53Oh snap dog, what's up? So that is it for Minicon Assault Team. In their alt mode, let's go to
06:01the robot modes.
06:21And you're sure you're a Minicon? Yes, why? Well, two of you look like you're about Generations
06:28Legend Size. Oh yeah, prove it. Well, Scrapnel is right next to one of you guys.
06:34Your metal skin is looking rather tasty. Guys, I think I've found a Campbell!
06:40Um, we eat our vegetables, good sir. Good day!
06:43It seems like figures are actually going bigger than smaller. Ha ha! That comment won't bite me in the back
06:49in any way, shape, or form in the future! Jeebus, dammit!
06:53So here they are in the robot modes. I'm just gonna quickly go through each and every single one of
06:59them.
06:59So first off, we got Windshear, which is actually rather cool. I like the design, I like the look, I
07:05like the aesthetic.
07:06Uh, the back propeller is kind of weird, but at least he's not back heavy. Ha ha ha ha ha!
07:11His face deco is not bad, though it's looking more girlish than ever. It might be a female, actually.
07:19Uh, but uh, yeah, I think this figure is actually rather cool. I like the cockpit. Finally, it doesn't pop
07:28off as often, because it kind of clicks into place.
07:30I like the Gatling gun. I like everything about it! Ooooooooh!
07:35And then what else do we have? We have Runway! And this guy is looking really good. I like the
07:42legs, I like the body.
07:43I like the chest, ooooh! The chest and the yellow, and the rubber, the rubber crotch! Yes, everyone loves it.
07:50And the peg butt! Yes! Yes! Anyways, he's got some rockets.
07:59And, uh, he just looks rather cool. The articulation is fine. Um, he's probably the most articulated figure.
08:06Uh, except for maybe windshield. I don't know. But, uh, I gotta say, he looks really cool. Look at that
08:15face mask. I think that's a face mask.
08:18Yes, it is indeed a face mask. And the only one without knee articulation is Heavy Tread.
08:23Now, even though he lacks in articulation, I still gotta say, he's kinda cool looking. I love that head. It
08:30kinda reminds me of Blitzwing from Transformers Animated.
08:34And just overall, he's got a nice design, nice look. His gun's a little big, but the barrel's kinda split.
08:41And, uh, if you don't want it on this side, you can obviously swap it out. It just plugs in
08:47his hand.
08:47And, uh, so yeah, I really do like the look of this. And each weapon has the 5mm ports, which
08:54that means you can swap out weapons with your main deluxe figures!
08:58Now that we've taken a look at each individual minicon, and this guy is reminding me of Kopaka for some
09:05reason,
09:06I'd like to go into the actual main robot mode, the combined mode.

10:01And here is Sentry Tron in his robot mode, or as people like to call him, the Minicon Assault Team

10:09And this guy is really cool. I like the weapon, even though it's just a bunch of different weapons slapped
10:14onto each other.
10:15Which, by the way, this is all black. The weapon for the runway figure is all black and not yellow
10:22with green.
10:22That is kind of unfortunate. But whatever, I actually like the black rather well.
10:27It actually kind of blends in with the weapon more like that.
10:31The figure itself is absolutely lacking. He is lacking.
10:38Now, that said, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
10:44Because you've got to take into account that he is three Minicons combined.
10:51Three Minicons! That's a lot of Minicons!
10:54And you can, of course, plug certain weapons onto his hand, which is really cool.
10:58And he's got the whole port of crotch-ness. He's got leg articulation, like there's no tomorrow.
11:06Um, you kind of have to get this out of the way sometimes.
11:09The instructions actually... Yeah, that popped out. That's... That's a load of fun, isn't it?

11:23The instructions, I believe, tell you to do it this way, but I don't like to.
11:29One thing about the instructions I don't like is they have them in reverse from going from alt modes to
11:36the robot modes to the combined mode.
11:38Which I don't like that. It's a little confusing.
11:41However, I still gotta say, it is rather cool of a figure, even though it is definitely lacking in articulation.
11:49Uh, definitely needs a kind of a rotation joint right here in the elbow.
11:56I don't know why I was thinking of wrist.
11:58Uh, wrist articulation would be good, but mostly around here.
12:02And he needs a rotation joint around here, heh, and around where the knee is. That would be nice.
12:09No head articulation, unfortunately, so he is definitely lacking.
12:14But, considering what we're getting, he's also rather cool.
12:18I like the design. I like how everything fits together.
12:20Even though he's a little hollow in the chest, you can kind of hide that with the arms.
12:25Um, I like how everything fits together on the back. That is very, very nice.
12:30Anyways, it's hard to see, uh, or hard to find, I should say, some Transformers where the back kibble really
12:36just fits together.
12:37And it really does a good job.
12:39It does kind of feel like it's just kibble slapped onto the back.
12:43However, it's done so well that I just don't care.
12:46Um, actually, a lot of the kibble is seen on the front.
12:49Um, he's got kind of a Starscream look with the wings, I guess.
12:53But, uh, just overall, I really do like the look of this guy.
12:56I like the idea.
12:58Um, but he's just not the most playful, most articulated figure.
13:04So, for kids, probably not the best thing.
13:07For collectors, they might get into this, but they still won't have, uh, the best time with the articulation.
13:12So, anyways, let's go on to my overall review, even though I've pretty much just said it.
13:16Oh, another thing that I should mention is this plastic is going to warp on, on mine at least.
13:24But, uh, oh, he's got a face on his ass.
13:27But, uh, yeah, it's got a little bit of stress marks and it's actually kind of warped.
13:32Unfortunate!
13:34Whole crotch!
13:36Yeah!
13:43So, overall, what I highly recommend the Maintain Assault Team.
13:46Yes and no.
13:48I like the engineering, I like what they're doing, and I know it can't be perfect.
13:52However, it is kind of a floppy mess.
13:55If you just want something that's kind of creative and something a little bit different,
13:59I know Minicon Combiners have been done before.
14:02But, um, they haven't been done enough, I don't think.
14:06So, if you just want something unique and never had one of the Minicon Combiners, go ahead and go for
14:11it.
14:11It's an interesting concept.
14:13I like the idea, but it's a floppy mess, and some of the parts don't really connect all too well.
