00:17This is it. Let's go.
00:20Watch your step. Imagine going down here on your skateboard, lad.
00:24This way. Bridge, bridge, bridge.
00:29Is this the way? Yeah. Denny, cami, mask. Let's go.
00:36Check every side of the street. Check the left, I've got the right.
00:41Busy in it. This way. There we go, Joe. That's it.
00:49Hello, my mate. Please sign in. Ready?
00:54We're last. Oh, you're lucky. Hold on, let's see times.
00:59There's still a whole day ahead. It is annoying. We've lost our second place.
01:04We're really, really going to have to try and do something different.
01:07Next leg, we need to bump up our communication.
01:10I feel like you sometimes get a bit too relaxed.
01:12You might need to get on the tyre management. Yeah.
01:15Always room for improvement.
01:18A late check-in leaves the boys now trailing in fourth place by seven hours
01:23and more than 24 hours behind the race leaders.
01:27We've got an awful lot of catching up to do. It can't stay like this. No.
01:41The only city in the world that wakes up on two continents.
01:46Istanbul is a crossroads of civilisation.
01:51At the meeting point of two continental plates, where a succession of empires have created its Roman streets, Byzantine walls
02:00and Ottoman courtyards.
02:04This is a palace of Suleiman the Magnificent.
02:06Right.
02:07Who is, that's one of the most famous sultans.
02:10Right, okay.
02:10And he produced some incredible architecture.
02:13It's beautiful. It's so grand.
02:15Imagine the number of stone masons it would take to actually carve all this.
02:19Yes.
02:20All these incredible columns.
02:22Wow, look at that.
02:23Yes.
02:24I love the marble.
02:25All this polychromatic stonework, you know, all these different colour stones.
02:29Polychromatic.
02:29Polychromatic, yeah.
02:31I love having Mark a bit of architecture. Him and Daddy are able to kind of geek out together.
02:37Me and Margo are a wee bit more like, oh, it's so pretty.
02:40I assume we're going to go east, which I'm looking forward to.
02:43I'm rekindling my youth in a way.
02:45Well, I'm doing it in a different way.
02:47Yeah.
02:48As an older person, I'm ticking off things that I've never done before.
02:52And part of me goes all the time and goes, why have I not done these before?
02:56I'm just so excited to see what we do next.
02:59I'm ready to go out there and go for it.
03:02As two teams reflect...
03:06Like three.
03:07Here we come.
03:09Hello.
03:10Good morning.
03:11Hello.
03:12Frontrunners Katie and Harrison are ready to race.
03:18The team that arrives in fifth place will be eliminated from the race.
03:23Oh.
03:25I mean, I'm glad we've got quite a big lead, but it can just go like that, can't it?
03:29With one or two bad days.
03:30Your third checkpoint is...
03:33Al Feti.
03:34Okay.
03:34Do you know what that is?
03:35That's a clue.
03:37Sounds Turkish.
03:38See, it sounds Greek, but that wouldn't make sense, would it?
03:41That would not make sense.
03:42Better find out where Al Feti is ASAP.
03:44Let's go.
03:47Hi, guys.
03:48Sorry to interrupt.
03:49Does anyone know where Al Feti is?
03:51I don't know if it's in Turkey or...
03:53Al Feti is a lovely little town on the southeast right over here.
03:58Southeast right over there.
03:58Yeah.
03:59On the border.
04:02From Turkey's European edge to its far south-eastern frontier, teams must cross almost the entire
04:09breadth of the country to reach Al Feti.
04:14Once a thriving Assyrian settlement, now submerged beneath the famous Euphrates River,
04:19following the construction of the Berejik Dam in the year 2000.
04:25A lone minaret pierces the turquoise waters.
04:28A haunting reminder of what was lost beneath a limestone gorge that endures.
04:36Right.
04:37We are here.
04:38We need to get to here.
04:41Gazianta seems the main, like, transport hole around there.
04:44So it's just aiming for there, really.
04:46It's a long way away.
04:47Oh, it is.
04:49To get there, teams can strike out across the vast central plateau,
04:53of Anatolia, catching their first glimpse of the old Silk Road,
04:58where tradition runs deep and transport moves swiftly.
05:02Or they can head south along the popular Mediterranean coast,
05:06utilising the established but costly connections.
05:11Something that I've always wanted to do is to go to Cappadocia.
05:14There's hot air balloons there, and it's been on, like, my bucket list forever.
05:18That's just, like, a non-negotiable for me.
05:20We do have a bit of a lead, and I know you're still a bit worried about it
05:25because of the elimination, but at the end of the day,
05:28it is over 31 hours to fifth place.
05:32Taking charge, Katie plots a scenic detour through the region of Cappadocia,
05:37known for its towering rock formations.
05:42Hello, yeah, Cappadocia.
05:44Cappadocia, no.
05:45This is here, Cappadocia.
05:48I don't think it's going to be as simple as our previous legs.
05:52This strategy, this route,
05:54it's going against how I probably truly feel,
05:57and the fact that we're going a little bit out of the way,
05:58it's just, like, eating me up inside.
06:00But we're doing the hot air balloon no matter what.
06:04Like, if the route itself is costing us maybe 12, 24 hours,
06:07and then we get unlucky with some buses,
06:09then who knows?
06:10It could throw us all the way off.
06:12Shall we just stick with our plan?
06:15Right.
06:17Can we get two tickets to Escagia?
06:19No.
06:21Yeah, today?
06:22Yeah.
06:23OK.
06:24Harrison's obviously got anxious over nothing.
06:26If you can't enjoy yourself with a 31-hour lead,
06:28you're never going to enjoy yourself.
06:31He says he's going to enjoy himself after the elimination,
06:35but you won't.
06:36I'm not having it.
06:37It's very exciting.
06:39Let's see how it goes.
06:47Hello.
06:48Hi there, ma'am.
06:4814 hours behind...
06:51My pleasure.
06:52...Puja and Roshni.
06:54Your third checkpoint is Hal Fetty.
06:59Where the hell is that?
07:00No idea.
07:01It's near to Gaziantep, city of Turkey.
07:05So we're staying in Turkey.
07:06No crossing borders this time.
07:08Yes.
07:10Yes.
07:11Oh, bloody hell.
07:12The team that arrives in fifth place will be eliminated from the race.
07:16No.
07:17That just made my heart sick.
07:18We can't be fifth.
07:20No, we cannot be fifth.
07:22We do want to make sure we're moving tonight.
07:24There's the elimination round and, you know, we don't want to go home.
07:28Last leg, we worked really hard to catch up with Katie and Harrison.
07:32So we just need to make sure we keep that lead.
07:35Can we go sit?
07:36Here.
07:36There's seating here.
07:38Okay.
07:39I'm going to get the map out as well.
07:40Yes.
07:42So we go coastal.
07:44Yeah.
07:44Or we go inland.
07:46It's your birthday.
07:46You decide.
07:48Whoa.
07:49That's not fair.
07:50It's your birthday present.
07:51Enjoy.
07:52I have no idea.
07:53I have no idea.
07:55The pros of going coastal, it's pretty much a tourist hub.
07:59Yeah.
08:00Given this is the elimination, we go for what seems to be a safer route, potentially.
08:06I agree with you.
08:07We can go head south to help in the Territory Rehabilitation Centre.
08:11What do you think?
08:12It's quite satisfying.
08:13It would be very satisfying.
08:14If we get some good karma, and that good karma will get us to checkpoint.
08:18Quick.
08:20Balancing a reliable route with their natural instinct to volunteer, they opt to head south
08:25to Ortaja, before a dart along the coast.
08:29They seem open.
08:30Hi.
08:31We wanted to get to Ortaka, Dalian.
08:34Are there any going tonight?
08:36Tomorrow night.
08:37Tomorrow night is going to put us really far behind.
08:39We have to get a bus tonight.
08:42Mm-hm.
08:42We could go back down to Izmir.
08:43And we know it's such a big hub there.
08:45Yeah.
08:46Is there a bus to Izmir tonight?
08:49In the morning?
08:50We have to make a quick decision.
08:52Otherwise, we're looking for a hostel tonight.
08:54I would rather do something positive, so let's go to Izmir.
08:58What do you think?
08:59Yeah.
09:00In a bid to get on the move, the cousins plan to retrace their steps back to Izmir, a detour
09:07of nearly 500 kilometres westwards.
09:12I couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday getting a bus at 3am.
09:24We've got our transport bus tonight.
09:26I think this just puts us in a really strong position.
09:28And it means we get the whole day just to explore.
09:33300 kilometres south-east of Istanbul, Eskisha here.
09:40With Onward Travel booked to take them further inland...
09:44Ah, river!
09:46Gondas!
09:47Oh, God.
09:49Oh, sorry!
09:52Katie and Harrison sample an alternative mode of transport.
09:56What a wonderful way to see a new place.
09:59It's quite a peaceful city.
10:00We're having a peaceful day.
10:02Isn't it?
10:02It's a lot of calm in Istanbul.
10:04Maybe we should start implementing one chill race day per leg.
10:07Push now.
10:09This modern city dates as far back as 1000 BC.
10:13But in more modern times, revitalisation along the Pursuk River has earned it the title
10:19the Venice of Turquia.
10:23I've got to be honest.
10:24He's not pushing very hard.
10:26There's an engine rattling under me.
10:28We're on a barge with a...
10:31We're on an open-top barge.
10:35Yeah.
10:35But it feels authentic.
10:37It does as we go past a Burger King and a Starbucks.
10:40We are in true Turkey.
10:44When people say they're going travelling, I always hear it as a bit of a cop-out.
10:48I just see travelling as an extended holiday.
10:52Sure, I'll go on holiday for a week or whatever.
10:54And even then, I find that concept of spending such a large amount of money in such a short
10:58period of time on something that provides no real return weirdly odd.
11:03Doing the race is going to be quite the contradiction to who I am.
11:07But I'd like to see if it changes my current mindset.
11:11I think it is a thing that all gondola men have to be hard.
11:15I think you have to be tall that I can answer.
11:17I think so too.
11:18I think I fit tall.
11:20You're not even that tall.
11:21You're right.
11:24This is the crossing between east and west, isn't it?
11:27This is Mr Bosphorus going up the Black Sea.
11:29We're leaving Europe and we're going to Central Asia.
11:32Welcome to Central Asia.
11:34Third to leave the checkpoint.
11:36We're going to have to cover some really big distances
11:38and we're going to have to cover them fast.
11:40Mark and Margo.
11:42Priority for this leg is staying in the race.
11:45Absolutely, yeah.
11:46So we've kind of committed to the big city.
11:48Yes, we have.
11:49I know nothing about Ankara apart from it was formed as a capital after 1923.
11:55It's not a tourist destination.
11:57It's a political capital of the country.
11:59We're going more with the authentic Turkey rather than the more tourist hubs.
12:03So we have taken that risk.
12:05But we think our strategy is going to work.
12:07This is elimination leg.
12:08You know, someone is going home.
12:10It's not going to be us.
12:12Utilising central cities for fast connections,
12:14the next eight hours on the road will take them directly to Ankara.
12:18by nightfall.
12:20So we've covered a phenomenal distance race-wise.
12:24How far do you think that is?
12:26It's 453 kilometres.
12:28Oh!
12:29Mr. Precise.
12:32OK, good.
12:33We know what we have to do.
12:34We know what we have to do.
12:35Absolutely.
12:36Oh!
12:3740 minutes behind.
12:39Molly, we're here.
12:40OK.
12:41And we're heading to...
12:43Jesus Christ!
12:44Father and daughter duo, Andrew and Molly.
12:48Any help?
12:48Can you point it out?
12:50We're here?
12:51No?
12:52Any help?
12:53It kind of looks like you don't know.
12:56What about going to Antalya, which is down this southern coast?
13:00All right?
13:01It's a huge city in Turkey.
13:02Huge amount of visitors going through it.
13:04So then a huge amount of English-speaking people as well,
13:06you know, there's a hand.
13:08And then we could shoot across to Adana.
13:10I'm just petrified of elimination.
13:12We need to be fast.
13:13The fear is we are forced.
13:15Let's not pretend anything different that we are for.
13:17Yeah, yeah, yeah.
13:18We are in danger.
13:19We are in danger, so we do need a shift.
13:21Yeah.
13:21Right, kiddo.
13:22All good.
13:22Yeah.
13:23Antalya, here we come.
13:24I always say to my children, you go in to win it,
13:27you go in to do the best you can.
13:29And the best we can will be to get to Mongolia.
13:31Mongolia is the end game.
13:33Getting eliminated in Turkey is not the end game.
13:36The pressure is that I want to fulfil the journey,
13:38I want to fulfil the potential.
13:40Could you tell us, please, the next bus to...
13:43Antalya.
13:44At 3 o'clock.
13:453 o'clock?
13:45Yeah, at the anti-location at 5.30 in the morning.
13:49Perfect.
13:50Very pleased with our choice.
13:52We've actually booked a 14-hour bus straight to the Mediterranean coast,
13:56so going from one side of Turkey to the other,
13:59very happy, very happy.
14:00As they charge to the coastline...
14:04Oh, bless you.
14:07OK, so we figure out the next bus.
14:10Pooja and Roshni have gone west to Izmir.
14:13We know this place now.
14:14Are you ready to see the ticket office of dreams?
14:17I cannot wait.
14:18Leaving them further from the next checkpoint than when they set off.
14:23What else are these guys?
14:24Autosha?
14:252 o'clock.
14:262 o'clock?
14:28We travelled back to Izmir because last time we came here we discovered Izmir is a major transport hub that
14:33has lots of buses going everywhere, so we just took the risk.
14:37Let's do it, let's do it.
14:38OK.
14:39It's important to keep moving because this is the elimination leg and me and Rosh do not want to come
14:43in fifth place.
14:44Me and Rosh are not going home.
14:50No way, there's enough fish for every single one of these.
14:53In last place, ready to get going, Joe and Kush.
14:57Do you want another fun fact?
14:59Go on.
14:59This side, or this?
15:01This is Europe, right?
15:02That side or there's Asia.
15:04I'm mad there.
15:05Over a hundred ships pass through the Bosphorus Strait every day.
15:09What's the what like?
15:12This vital trade route powered the Ottoman Empire and kept Constantinople thriving through centuries of siege.
15:20And today, it's where the friends confront their own challenge.
15:25I think we need to stop the battle plan.
15:27Yeah, we need to change up our strategy because we're doing something wrong.
15:30We are behind by a significant amount of us.
15:33From what I can gauge, we're pretty good in terms of budget.
15:36So I think we should just sacrifice the budget because there's no point in getting out with £1.5,000.
15:42I think we should blow out as much money as we need to on taxis and don't be shy.
15:46I just don't want to be last.
15:48The fact is, we've dropped from second place to third place.
15:51The elimination is scary.
15:53We have to deliver every single day and it is possible that we do crack on the pressure.
15:59We are not getting eliminated.
16:01I've told my mum not coming home till it's over, so I'll see you then.
16:07We're first going home, I think.
16:09All right, we need to go fast because I don't want to be stuffing Istanbul.
16:12We're getting out of Istanbul tonight.
16:14We need to find overnight transport.
16:16Winning is our priority.
16:19Everything else from second.
16:20We want to win.
16:21We want to do the very best we can for our mums.
16:25Ah, sick, lad. Travel agents.
16:26We'll ask them.
16:28Is there a direct tonight to Alanya?
16:31Yeah, yeah.
16:31Seven...
16:34Taxi?
16:35Hello.
16:36My mum has shown so much strength because we've gone through a lot.
16:40So her still working every week, meal on the table, looking after me and my brothers,
16:45shows what a superhero she is.
16:48Ready to jump out, Joe?
16:49Yeah.
16:49No.
16:50We don't want to just coast through.
16:51We're going to absolutely graft to show we can do it.
16:55Excuse me.
16:567.30 to Alanya.
16:57Today?
16:58Yes.
16:597.30 for me.
17:03Planning to hit the coastline tonight, Joe and Kush's sprint to Alanya has stalled.
17:10We've missed the bus that we tried to get.
17:12So now we've gone for the next soonest, which is an entire hour and a half later.
17:16So we're really pissed because we need to be making up an hour and a half, not losing it.
17:21God, this is so bad.
17:23We can't afford to make any mistakes and we've already made one.
17:26So it's just, we've just got to get back on our feet, get moving again.
17:31I don't get it.
17:32What are we doing wrong?
17:44The modern capital of Ankara.
17:49The heart of Turkish politics since 1923.
17:53Now a hub of commerce and industry.
17:56Yet centuries ago, it thrived on a different kind of exchange.
18:01Silk Road merchants gathered here in caravanser eyes.
18:04Stone inns that offered shelter as they traded silk, spice and tales of distant lands.
18:11What drinks would you like?
18:13Tea?
18:14Tea?
18:16We love a cup of tea.
18:17You love your tea.
18:18We love our tea, don't we?
18:20Some still stand today, like Burger Cafe, where Mark and Margot have picked up a shift.
18:27Gentlemen!
18:29Helping Chef Umut with the lunchtime rush.
18:32Do you want me to spin this?
18:33Yeah.
18:36I never realised that making a salad was so complicated.
18:39It is the most difficult job in the kitchen.
18:42I've been by myself, it's quite difficult to have a variety.
18:47I cook something that will last me three days.
18:49Because I'm retired.
18:51I've stopped working.
18:52You're not?
18:53Yes, yes.
18:54How old are you?
18:5666.
18:5766.
18:59How's it going, Mark?
19:01He's full of his bromance.
19:04How's it going, Mark?
19:05Brilliant.
19:06Are you enjoying yourself?
19:07Yes, I am.
19:07Is that salad ready yet?
19:09It's on its way.
19:10It's on its way.
19:12He's in his element and the two of them in the kitchen.
19:14Thinking they're Gordon Ramsay.
19:17That's a very good salad.
19:18That's it.
19:19When I'm in England, I play football all the time.
19:22Veteran.
19:23No, no.
19:24We're young people.
19:25I play football also.
19:27So what position did you play?
19:29Middle.
19:30Oh, you're a midfielder.
19:31Midfield, yes.
19:32I remember the old football player in England.
19:36Glasgow and Renekar.
19:37Exactly, yes.
19:38Kerry King.
19:40Left to his own devices, Mark could get set in his ways.
19:44But I hope Mark starts to feel really free.
19:47Because if you've been in a relationship for over 40 years,
19:51where you've been a very devoted partner,
19:54and then you suddenly, you know, you have a new life,
19:58he's discovering himself.
20:01You know, it was 23 when they started to go out,
20:03and now it's like he's 23 again discovering the world.
20:07Oh, thank you. Thank you so much.
20:09There's a sense of a spring awakening
20:11and I think that's really wonderful.
20:14To the train station.
20:16To the train station.
20:19Tickets. Ticket office.
20:20Sticking to the strategy to cover ground quickly
20:23by city hopping through central Turquia...
20:26Two tickets. To Konya.
20:27Mark and Margot are heading to the spiritual city of Konya,
20:31only two hours away by high-speed train.
20:355.40. Not so bad.
20:37You happy with that?
20:38Yeah, it's fine.
20:41Next stop, Konya.
20:42Next stop, Konya.
20:47We're not going to be eliminated.
20:49We're staying in this race and we're shooting for the stars.
20:53If we're going to race, let's race all out.
21:03Oh, look, there's one there, sleeping.
21:05Oh, it's huge!
21:08650 kilometres to the south-west...
21:10It looks so cute!
21:12Pooja and Roshni have reached Istazu Beach.
21:19A pristine, sandy peninsula between a freshwater river delta
21:23and the Mediterranean Sea.
21:26This protected oasis is a nesting ground for the loggerhead sea turtle.
21:32Causes of injuries, waist ingestion, intentional attacks by people. Why?
21:40Migrating thousands of kilometres to get here, not all turtles arrive unscathed.
21:47And volunteers at the Dekamere Rescue Centre treat many ill and injured turtles every year.
21:54This turtle's our age. I'm now 32.
21:58For medic Pooja, here to celebrate her birthday, it's a very different kind of ward round.
22:05My patient today is Dolunas.
22:07He's got a cracked jaw, caused by boat.
22:1140 to 45-year-old male.
22:13Very active.
22:16Keeping its crib clean.
22:18I think this is like most wards in the hospital, to be honest.
22:22I enjoy looking after people and animals.
22:25It's a really satisfying job, which is why I love medicine so much.
22:31Small things you do can make a big difference in someone's day.
22:34There's no better feeling than that.
22:38It's nice to be able to help on this trip.
22:40I think the work these guys are doing is incredible.
22:43This has been a great way to spend my birthday.
22:46The only thing that would be really nice is just to be able to see my mum, sister and my
22:52husband.
22:53Yeah, it's just hard not to speak to them.
22:57That's done pretty much, right?
22:59Just get in some shade.
23:00Yeah.
23:00There's ER snacks.
23:03Water's super green.
23:05Very pretty, though.
23:06Are you happy we went here?
23:07Yeah.
23:09Yeah.
23:09This is a pretty nice birthday to spend abroad.
23:12But I think I've spent the last four birthdays without, like, Dad.
23:19So in the quiet moments like today where I would be surrounded by my family, I miss them.
23:25It's okay.
23:27When we lost Dad, all of our birthdays have just been slightly different.
23:34Like, having a card from Dad.
23:36Just Dad being present.
23:40Just seeing, like, that familiar face.
23:47And I just don't have it anymore.
23:52Sometimes it's just hard.
23:54Because you just want to hear his voice.
23:58Or just know what his opinion is.
24:01Or ask for his advice.
24:05After I finished medical school, I was working in emergency medicine.
24:09I was really loving the job.
24:11And then COVID kind of changed everything for me.
24:17In December 2021, we were just drowning in sick patients with COVID.
24:28Unfortunately, I got COVID.
24:31I was self-isolating in my room upstairs, making sure I didn't touch anything.
24:37But then Dad got unwell.
24:41Having your relative in hospital with COVID is essentially, it feels like someone basically has your heart in their hand.
24:54And it's just tearing it to pieces.
24:58It's heartbreaking when it hits you.
25:00He's not going to come back.
25:04Just a big reminder that through all of the big moments of your life, Dad's not going to be there.
25:12I felt a lot of guilt because in my mind, I brought COVID home.
25:18I put him in this situation and it was my fault.
25:21I still struggle with that.
25:24You just have periods where you need to cry out to release that tension.
25:28And then once it's gone, it's like a weight lifted off your chest.
25:31It kind of means you're dealing with your emotions as well, right?
25:34Like when it first happened, you kind of sucked it all up.
25:38Yeah.
25:39And like, no matter what we go through in life, I know you will always be there for me if
25:43I ever needed anything.
25:45It's the same the other way around.
25:46It's like how you hold my hand when I was trying to get my ear peeled.
25:53Yeah.
25:53Rosh is my family.
25:55She knows how I'm feeling and she's just the perfect person to kind of be a shoulder to cry on,
26:00but at the same time, like, distract me.
26:03I couldn't have asked for anyone more than what Rosh has been for me.
26:07We should probably start moving.
26:09Yeah.
26:09Got some progress to make today.
26:11Yeah.
26:13I mean, we are in the middle of nowhere.
26:15The drive is the last hour which has been through sort of desert, really.
26:20My main concern is still getting out of it.
26:22I think we'll be okay. We'll be able to get moving.
26:27Nearly 800 kilometres inland, after two days of travel to chase Katie's dream of Cappadocia,
26:34the siblings arrive into the mountainous region, poised just six hours away from the third checkpoint.
26:42Three, two, one.
26:45Welcome to Cappadocia.
26:47Oh, wow.
26:47Wow.
26:48Oh, my God.
26:51This is incredible.
26:55Look at that.
26:57Famed for its surreal volcanic landscape, where entire underground cities have been carved into the soft rock for thousands of
27:05years.
27:06It's just incredible.
27:08Like, I think it's the most stunning place I've ever been in my life.
27:11It's just nothing like you'll ever see anywhere else.
27:14Many of these old dwellings have been transformed into hotels.
27:18And tonight, they will call one of them home.
27:22Wow.
27:23This is beautiful.
27:25This is your cave.
27:26Wow.
27:27That's amazing.
27:27So cute.
27:28If you want to watch Balloon Flight tomorrow, around 5.45 a.m., you should wake up.
27:33We will be there.
27:35They weren't lying, were they?
27:36It's a cave.
27:37It's so cool.
27:38Get that kettle on.
27:39Of course not.
27:41Oh, I'd love a custard cream with this.
27:43Oh.
27:45Oh.
27:48Trying to find the bikes.
27:49We need to go fast.
27:51After 13 and a half hours on a bus, Joe and Kush have hit Alanya on the south coast.
27:59Mersin?
28:00Mersin?
28:00Yes.
28:03And are wasting no time securing their next journey east.
28:07Our priority is still speed at the moment.
28:09We are on the move.
28:12Made it all the way down to Alanya.
28:13That's covered about half the distance.
28:15Mersin?
28:16Mersin.
28:17Today?
28:17Yes.
28:18Fingers crossed.
28:23I'm so relieved.
28:25We're going to Mersin tonight.
28:27Teşekkürler.
28:27You are so good.
28:31There's a bus at 7.45, which gets there at, like, 2 a.m.
28:36Yeah, we'll go see the water before we have to go.
28:38That'll be nice.
28:39It might not go perfect, we might still be out, but we know that we've got a chance, you
28:44know?
28:45So many cats, isn't it?
28:47Isn't it?
28:47I love it.
28:48Hey, there's a basketball court.
28:50Is anyone playing?
28:51Don't lie to me.
28:52Oh, there there is.
28:53There's people shooting.
28:53Oh, my God.
28:54Should you go sit there?
28:55Absolutely.
28:57Yo, excuse me.
28:58Can I play?
29:00Join in.
29:04Oh, my God.
29:06I can tell Joe needed this.
29:10I'd love to be as relaxed as everyone else, but I just can't focus on anything but the
29:14race right now.
29:14And it makes it hard to enjoy anything because you're so focused on racing.
29:18Even times like this where we've got a break, my mind's constantly playing over whether
29:22we're going to make it to check point in time.
29:24It's just the back of your mind 24-7.
29:26Every time you've stopped, you're thinking about what the other teams are doing.
29:29Everyone's going to be feeling the pressure.
29:30I know that we're moving fast, but I don't know if fast is fast enough.
29:34I just don't know what we're going to do if we have to go home earlier.
29:39I'm nervous, man.
29:41I think it's going to be a real close one.
29:42And I just got to hope that it's in our favor.
29:48No.
29:55What a beautiful spot.
29:57Your mum would love this.
29:58Sure.
30:00135 kilometres west and also on the coast, Andrew and Molly.
30:07It's amazing.
30:08It is fabulous, isn't it?
30:09It is Asia when you think about it, but you would swear you were in Italy.
30:13Yeah.
30:13Amalfi Coast, that kind of thing, whereas it's Turkey.
30:17It's beautiful.
30:18Antalya.
30:19Once prowled by Salesian pirates along its jagged coast until the Romans drove them out.
30:26Today, its hidden sea caves can be explored by boat from the lively marina,
30:32attracting over 17 million visitors every year.
30:36Never would have thought this part of Turkey would have been so special and so lovely and beautiful.
30:41I'm so glad I've seen it. I just don't want to go home.
30:44I really do not want to be eliminated.
30:46We would be really, really cross if we were.
30:48I would be too.
30:49I really want to go and see Mongolia.
30:51It's been brilliant and I just want to keep going.
30:53It's just been amazing to do so many firsts with you and continue to do them,
30:57and when are we going to be given the opportunity?
31:01I just think it's a really unique experience to do with your daddy,
31:04who's a teacher who never gets time off.
31:06I'm going into Job where I'm never going to get time off.
31:08I know, I know.
31:10Are you all right?
31:11No, I'm not.
31:13I don't want to go home.
31:21I don't want to go home.
31:22Can you smell the roses?
31:28They do smell.
31:29They smell beautiful.
31:32It's such a laid back city.
31:34What a contrast with yesterday.
31:35You do feel you're off the tourist track.
31:38Yes.
31:38Well, I think there might be tourists because of Rumi, but not Western tourists.
31:43Sitting in the largest province in Turkey,
31:46Kanye is the spiritual home of Islamic scholar and Sufi mystic Rumi,
31:51one of the most widely read poets in the world.
31:57It's a very important, huge tomb.
31:59I've never seen anything like this before.
32:02It's very ornate, isn't it?
32:03It's amazing.
32:05After his death in the 13th century, a Seljuq Sultan built a mausoleum here.
32:11It's got a nice feel to it. It's got a nice scale about it.
32:14I really, really like it.
32:15I like it a lot.
32:16And it has become a site of pilgrimage for all faiths,
32:19drawn to his message of love and unity.
32:24Trotting Europe, you never had a feeling of the Silk Road.
32:26But now, racing across Turkey, we have got the feeling.
32:30We really have.
32:30And coming here has reinforced that.
32:33It's got a kind of mystical feel, hasn't it?
32:35It kind of looks modern as well.
32:37Another design up there, don't you think?
32:39A little rashly.
32:41The actual journey for Mark and I has only just begun.
32:45Wow.
32:46The foundation is fabulous.
32:48But I think the enjoyment and joy we're having can expand.
32:53You don't want to go home, do you?
32:54I'm not ready to go home.
33:00Nice playing basketball. Reminded me of home.
33:03Shall we go see if our bus is there for us to put our bags on
33:05and then we can relax?
33:06Joe and Kush have returned to Alanya bus station
33:10to board their overnight bus
33:12that will take them
33:14330 kilometres along the coast.
33:18Mersin?
33:19Mersin?
33:21Mersin?
33:23Mersin?
33:23Yes. Mersin, yeah.
33:25We don't know where the bus is.
33:28Not here.
33:29Not here.
33:32This bus is meant to be leaving in 15 minutes.
33:35Come on, come on, come on, come on.
33:36Please let this be ours.
33:37That's us, that's us.
33:39No.
33:39Oh.
33:40This could be bad.
33:42But the bus they have tickets for is proving hard to locate.
33:46We don't want to go home.
33:47So everything now is about time, not money.
33:50And I hope the other teams are relaxed a little bit.
33:52Mersin?
33:55Mersin?
33:55No, we have tickets.
33:57Mersin?
33:57Mersin?
33:58This?
33:59No.
34:00No way?
34:02You don't know?
34:03Ah, shit.
34:04Joe!
34:04Not this one.
34:05Do you speak English?
34:07No English.
34:07Any English?
34:08We have constantly been moving.
34:11We are going as fast as physically possible.
34:14We are begging.
34:16This one?
34:18It better be right.
34:19Mersin?
34:19Mersin?
34:20No, no.
34:20This way?
34:21Correct?
34:21Yes.
34:23Yes.
34:23Yes.
34:25Yes.
34:27This language barrier is so hard, lad.
34:31I hope this bus has a toilet, because I've just drunk loads of water.
34:38What time is it?
34:405.45.
34:41Let's go.
34:43OK.
34:45Wow.
34:47Look at this.
34:48This is perfect.
34:54Look at them over there, Wolf.
34:56Look around.
34:59Oh, this is going to be good.
35:00I'm just excited.
35:02Rising at dawn above Cappadocia's otherworldly landscape, up to 150 hot air balloons, riding
35:12the region's uniquely stable air currents, a daily wonder seen nowhere else on earth.
35:21Oh, the sky is filling.
35:24I don't think I've ever seen anything more beautiful or so cool in my life.
35:29A ritual started in the 1980s by renowned Turkish aviation pioneer, Bilge Ezel, with just a single
35:38balloon.
35:39Today, hundreds of thousands of visitors witness the spectacle from land and sky every year.
35:47Wow.
35:48Wow.
35:48It's gorgeous.
35:53It feels very much once in a lifetime.
35:58It's really cool, isn't it?
36:00It's probably the most unique thing I've ever seen.
36:03I'm glad we've done it.
36:05Oh, that's good.
36:06Because I had a lot of doubt when you were skeptical of coming here.
36:10I'm glad you're glad.
36:11For me, this makes it all worth it.
36:13No, it's the best decision we've made so far.
36:16That is crazy.
36:17It's so close.
36:19Oh, my God.
36:24If we can finish the race, whilst doing stuff like this along the way, then that would just
36:29be perfect.
36:30Yeah.
36:31It would have been criminal to miss this.
36:34The realization has been that I do need to experience things.
36:39I'm hoping this race changes my outlook on life so that I can switch into the way I feel
36:44now and enjoy the moments like everyone else seems to be able to.
36:48I'm going to be on an absolute high, not all day, all week from this.
36:53I'm sure I'll remember this.
36:56And then after this, we can race as hard as you want and I'll do whatever you want to do.
37:03I think the bus station's up there.
37:05No, Daddy.
37:05Bus station that way.
37:07Oh, I see it.
37:07All right, OK.
37:08250 kilometres south in Adana, Andrew and Molly.
37:13Hiya.
37:14We are looking to go to...
37:15Gazetea.
37:16Gazetea.
37:17As early as possible.
37:20Gaziantep is the last major city before the checkpoint.
37:24Every team must pass through here before reaching Halfeti.
37:29More on the...
37:30Hello, hello.
37:31Perfect, perfect, good.
37:33Our strategy has been get as far down the leg as quick as possible.
37:37So we're maybe covered about 1,300 kilometres already.
37:40We've done an awful lot of travelling.
37:41I think it should give us an opportunity to maybe earn a bit of money in Adana.
37:46It looks huge.
37:47Mm.
37:48Illumination is just always in your head.
37:50But we have to think long game, we have to think about getting to Mongolia.
37:56Lying in the fertile Chukarova plain and brimming with local produce,
38:01the diverse city of Adana is a culinary hotspot,
38:05famous for its rich, spicy dishes,
38:08all influenced by Turkish, Greek and Arabian flavours.
38:12Never worked in the hospitality industry in my life, so this is a first.
38:15Another one of my firsts on this trip, so really delighted.
38:20Andrew and Molly have secured a shift at a busy local eatery.
38:26Known for the much-loved local speciality, Shirdan.
38:31Oh!
38:32Oh, right, OK.
38:33Oh, I don't know about that.
38:34What is it?
38:35It seems to be some sort of sausage.
38:37It's a bit phallic.
38:40It doesn't look to be my cup of tea.
38:44Made from the fourth stomach of a sheep.
38:47Yeah!
38:48OK.
38:49Stuffed with spiced rice.
38:51Hello.
38:52Is this for you?
38:53Stitched closed and boiled in a broth.
38:56Over you go, Molly.
38:58Shirdan is so popular that over 20,000 have been known to be eaten
39:03in any given night.
39:05It looked interesting.
39:07It's the best way to describe it.
39:09Think of it as what you will.
39:11Answers on a post-camp to what they are.
39:17Evening rush over.
39:19I've never been treated this well at work.
39:21Everyone's getting Shirdan, but I'm getting a stock made,
39:24and it's lovely.
39:25Shirdan?
39:26You eat Shirdan?
39:28Yeah?
39:29Yeah?
39:31Oh, lovely.
39:33Oh, wow.
39:34Pull the rope.
39:35Pull the rope.
39:36Okay.
39:37Yeah, yeah, yeah.
39:40Look at the size of it.
39:42I'm so nervous.
39:43And cut?
39:44Yes.
39:46OK.
39:47You ready?
39:47No.
39:49Yeah.
39:54Very nice.
39:54That's lovely.
39:56Really nice.
40:02Just an hour behind, Joe and Kush.
40:05Hey, could we have a room for tonight?
40:07Having started in last position...
40:09All right, thank you.
40:10Their push for speed has put them back in the running,
40:14reaching Mersin within striking distance of the checkpoint.
40:21We're hoping to get to the checkpoint straight away tomorrow.
40:23We're hoping to leave here and be pretty much direct.
40:27The checkpoint?
40:28Yep.
40:29We think the final sprint might mean everything,
40:32being in or out of this next leg and Mongolia.
40:39You guys know any English?
40:42Could you help me book a taxi?
40:46Yes.
40:46Tomorrow morning, we have to go.
40:50Gaziantep.
40:51Thank you, my friend.
40:52We've got an idea to taxi as much as we can
40:55because it feels like the most reliable, quickest
40:57or most expensive option.
40:58And I think every minute is going to make a difference.
41:03We pay how much?
41:05Yeah.
41:07Can we do...
41:08OK.
41:0910,000.
41:10That's like 200, right?
41:12Yes?
41:12Yes.
41:13200 pounds.
41:15A taxi to accelerate their race will cover 300 kilometres.
41:20Thank you, bro.
41:21But we'll leave a sizeable dent in their budget.
41:2322, 4, 6, 6, 7, 8, 8, 9.
41:26So we've got 1,200 period for the rest of the race.
41:301,000...how much?
41:311,200.
41:34That means our budget will be so tight.
41:38But if it gets us fourth, please...
41:43This is our one-time get-out-of-jail-free card.
41:46We're going to do whatever it takes to stay in
41:47and face the repercussions when we get to it.
41:51God.
41:52This is expensive.
41:54Hi.
41:54We are trying to find a cheap place to stay in Antalya,
41:59near this bus station.
42:00Do you know anywhere?
42:02To the west.
42:04There is a hotel sign.
42:05I think we just go, Pudge.
42:06OK.
42:07Pooja and Roshni's plan to press on towards the checkpoint
42:10has hit a stumbling block.
42:12We asked about buses tonight, but unfortunately
42:14there wasn't anything available.
42:16It gives the other teams time to catch up.
42:19Starting the leg in second place,
42:21the cousins are unaware their delay in Antalya
42:24has pushed them to the back of the pack,
42:26with their fate now hanging in the balance.
42:29Shall we just quickly go us?
42:31Do you want to, yeah?
42:34Hi.
42:34Today, I would have liked to have been closer to checkpoint.
42:39Being stagnant for a night is difficult.
42:43How much is it?
42:451,000.
42:46OK.
42:49I don't feel like we are last,
42:52but I'm not sure that we still have the lead
42:56that we had beforehand.
42:58At least the AC is not directly on our head.
43:01Yeah.
43:02Katie and Harrison are probably making moves onto...
43:06..checkpoint.
43:09Are you excited, Katie?
43:10Yeah.
43:11Not long? Yeah.
43:12Yeah, can't wait.
43:13Let's do it.
43:14Let's find out our fate.
43:18I'm not liking how quiet everyone's looking.
43:22No, it's pretty decimum.
43:27A viewing platform lies behind Roon Carla Castle,
43:30travel by boat to locate the book and signing.
43:32What the...
43:34Built into sheer limestone cliffs on the outskirts of town
43:38and accessible only by boat,
43:40the formidable fortress of Roon Carla Castle.
43:44Roon Carla?
43:45Roon Carla?
43:46Roon Carla Castle?
43:47Yeah, how are we going now?
43:48This one, over here.
43:49The location of the third checkpoint,
43:52where only the first four teams to arrive
43:55will remain in the race.
43:58Oh, my God, that's so cool.
44:01Oh, wow.
44:02How did we start our day in a cave in Cappadocia?
44:05With the balloon.
44:06And that ended up with this.
44:07And that ended up with this.
44:07And that ended up with this.
44:08Best day of my life.
44:09We came out for a bus for seven hours.
44:13That's it, isn't it?
44:14Yeah, that's got to be it.
44:14That is a viewing platform.
44:15If I've ever seen a viewing platform.
44:20There it is.
44:21Look.
44:22Get there.
44:23The book.
44:29We've done it again.
44:32God, how are we doing this?
44:35Yes.
44:35Yes.
44:36Well done.
44:37Not eliminated.
44:40The relief of not coming fifth trumps the coming first.
44:44We were able to race as efficient as usual and experience things.
44:50So, really happy we were able to pull that balance off.
44:53And I hope to apply that to all the future legs.
44:58I don't know if it's as efficient as usual just yet.
45:01Got to wait until everyone else signs in.
45:02Well, as a Harrison, we said as long as we're not fifth, we're happy.
45:05I only wind you up.
45:08We're staying to Mongolia.
45:18I'm ready.
45:19The four remaining teams have no idea of their relative race position.
45:24We need to make sure we stretch out a little bit.
45:27This is for a checkpoint.
45:29As they push forward to avoid elimination.
45:32We're definitely making it through elimination.
45:35Big day.
45:36Big day, kid.
45:37None of us are safe.
45:39Don't say things like that.
45:40I'll get sick.
45:41And a bit of an upset stomach from the sure dad last night.
45:49I can't find you socks.
45:51Will you bug us something?
45:52Come on, get a gun.
45:54Arriving into Gaziantep, fresh off a night bus, Mark and Margo are closest to the checkpoint.
46:02We need to get out to Halfetti.
46:04How much a taxi?
46:05Taxi.
46:077,000 in a taxi.
46:09Yes.
46:097,000.
46:11We're not going to Taxi.
46:12This is the shuttle bus that gives Halfetti.
46:14That one there.
46:15Yes.
46:16So, two options.
46:17Taxi or shuttle bus.
46:19Okay, yeah.
46:19Taxi seems to be incredibly expensive.
46:22Or we can wait two hours to six o'clock and get the shuttle bus.
46:26Mm-hmm.
46:27Bus is the best, isn't it?
46:28I think.
46:29Mm.
46:30Taxi too expensive.
46:33The only thing is, if you're eliminated, the budget's no use anyway.
46:37But if you can put on your budget now on a taxi, you'll never get to the end.
46:42Okay?
46:42It'll be the first shuttle bus you can get.
46:45Oh!
46:47Bit deflating though, isn't it?
46:48I was ready to go, go, go.
46:51Ooh, let's go.
46:55300 kilometres behind, Joe and Cush.
46:59So stressful, man.
47:01We'll stick to the plan.
47:03Who are spending 10% of their budget on taxis.
47:09Money is not, I can say it right now.
47:11I'm not going home with over a grandly pocket.
47:14As long as you keep that in your head, we'll get there.
47:17It will be heartbreaking to go out.
47:19Yeah.
47:19I hope this is the difference between us making it and all the teams waiting for a bus right now.
47:24This is fast.
47:25This is good.
47:35I just want to go now, Mark.
47:37Go, go, go.
47:38I know you do.
47:39I know you do.
47:39You know I do.
47:41I know you do.
47:41I know you do.
47:49It sounds so stupid, but I didn't realize yesterday was our potential last day.
47:53Last day, I know.
47:54En route to Gaziantep, after stopping to work the night before, Andrew and Molly.
48:01The head scrambles at the minute.
48:03It's really scrambled.
48:04Yeah.
48:05But if we can get to the bus and get on it and maybe settle down and hopefully the stomach
48:10will stop churning.
48:11I know.
48:11I just hope we don't meet anybody, Molly.
48:13If I saw the boys, I think I'd really kind of panic.
48:16Uh-huh.
48:17Just because we had six hours on them.
48:19Just really nervous.
48:21Did we do the right thing staying put last night?
48:23I would be devastated if this was over.
48:27Yeah.
48:30I feel like if our calculations are correct, we shouldn't be fair.
48:35To the west, 600 kilometres behind, Pooja and Roshni.
48:42I just don't want to be last.
48:44Ideally, it would be nice if we were second or first, but not last.
48:48Yeah.
48:49Just got to pray for the best.
48:51I just don't want to get eliminated.
48:53I don't think we will.
48:55I don't know why, but I just have this feeling that it's not in your journeys.
48:57I feel it in my journeys.
49:00I just don't know how anyone can go faster.
49:06It's going to be tight.
49:07I think it's pretty close.
49:08We cannot go any faster whatsoever.
49:11Over in Ghazi and Tep, a final 100km sprint to Halfeti.
49:17Back seat, yay!
49:19We're absolutely delighted to be leaving the bus station because it's been a three-hour wait.
49:24I think we're safe.
49:25I'm pretty calm.
49:27Unless someone got off the bus and got in a taxi.
49:31Quick, quick, quick.
49:33We're getting close.
49:34I think our efforts have paid off.
49:37I agree.
49:41Very nervous at the moment.
49:43Just want to get there and get to the checkpoint, Mum.
49:45Find out our faith.
49:47I feel like I'm impending doom.
49:50Right.
49:51We are here.
49:53Halfeti.
49:56Halfeti.
50:01Find the Sinehan Spanbridge.
50:05And await further instructions.
50:08Come on, Mark.
50:09Leg it, boy.
50:12Let's do this.
50:13Just check the waterfront.
50:14Yeah, yeah, yeah.
50:15Bridge.
50:16I don't see a bridge, bro.
50:18Every second counts.
50:20Okay, Molly.
50:21Here we go.
50:21Here we go.
50:22Right, we're looking for a bridge.
50:23Right, kid, come on.
50:24Yeah, yeah, yeah.
50:25Salalan Bridge.
50:28Straight.
50:29Is that a bridge there?
50:31Looks like a bridge.
50:32That's the bridge.
50:33That's the bridge.
50:35Salalan Bridge.
50:36Water.
50:37Span.
50:37Bridge.
50:38Where?
50:39Down that way?
50:40That way, that way.
50:40Okay, okay, right.
50:42I think this might be a...
50:44Will it wobble?
50:46It might be.
50:48Careful, Margot.
50:49Why?
50:49You might fall over, that's why.
50:50I'm not going to fall over.
50:52Come on.
50:53A viewing platform lies beyond Rumkala Castle.
50:58Travel by boat to locate the book and site.
51:03I'm an officer, right?
51:05Yeah, me too.
51:06Oh, you're there.
51:07I think he's there, bro.
51:09Woo!
51:10Come on, Mark.
51:12Downhill.
51:12I love running downhill.
51:14There's the bridge, Molly, in front.
51:15Yeah.
51:16Oh, you've got movement.
51:17I know, I know.
51:18Just wait for me, Pat.
51:19Wait for me.
51:19This is where we get the boat.
51:21Do we get him here?
51:22Yes.
51:23No!
51:24Oh, Jesus!
51:26Master!
51:27Master!
51:28Come on!
51:28We've got a checkpoint to get to!
51:31You think so mad?
51:33You are.
51:34Woo-hoo!
51:39I am not worrying about what everyone else is doing.
51:42I guess it just depends if they did experiences
51:44that were directly en route.
51:46But, like, I was so happy we did that.
51:48It was so much fun.
51:49Yeah.
51:54We're looking for a boat, Molly.
51:57You're going to have a castle?
51:5920 euro.
52:0020 euro?
52:00Yeah.
52:01That's good.
52:02That's lovely.
52:03Cool.
52:04James Bond type shit, love.
52:07Just looking out for any of the teams.
52:09Eat dust!
52:12Come on.
52:13Vamos!
52:14What's Turkish for Harry?
52:17Rapido, rapido!
52:20Viewing platform sounds like it's going to be high up,
52:22so I'd say it's going to be half a bit of an uphill sprint.
52:24Yeah, it's going to be a sprint the hallway.
52:27That's a viewing platform.
52:29Oh, no!
52:30Oh, no!
52:32Run up that hill!
52:34It's... yeah.
52:37I don't think there's anybody coming behind us, Molly,
52:39so...
52:39we're all right, I think.
52:41It doesn't mean there's nobody in front of us.
52:42It doesn't mean there's exactly...
52:43We need to get ready for running, kid.
52:46Ooh!
52:46Ooh!
52:49All right, get ready.
52:51Imagine having another team like...
52:53That would be funny, that.
52:55It looks like a bus might come down here.
52:57I'm not waiting for a bus.
52:59All right, ready?
53:00Let's go.
53:06We need a taxi.
53:07How much to the platform?
53:08There's a park there.
53:09Oh, a taxi?
53:11No.
53:11To there.
53:13Oh, I hate this.
53:15This is so awful.
53:19Let's do this.
53:20No!
53:22What place do you reckon we're going to be?
53:23I guess, yeah.
53:25All right.
53:26It's a nice sprint, lad.
53:28You in gallery.
53:29Molly, come on.
53:30Yeah, yeah.
53:32Ah, here we are.
53:33There's the bus.
53:35This way.
53:43Oh, my God!
53:49Okay.
53:50This is the moment.
53:51Okay.
53:51Okay.
53:52Congratulations.
53:53Success of each.
53:53Third checkpoint.
53:55Wait, wait, wait, wait.
53:56Where do you think we're going to be?
53:57Third.
54:00Oh, yes!
54:02Second!
54:03Second!
54:03Oh, brilliant!
54:05Oh, brilliant!
54:06Oh, brilliant!
54:06It's under ten hours between us and Katie and Harrison.
54:09We won't like that, will we?
54:12And what a place to be.
54:13Oh, my goodness.
54:15Stunning.
54:16Absolutely beautiful.
54:19Over the moon.
54:20Absolutely delighted.
54:21Fantastic.
54:22Avoiding illumination is just absolutely fantastic.
54:25We've done it!
54:26We've done it!
54:26I think by the end of the whole race, we'll be different people and we don't know what that's going
54:32to be.
54:32Hopefully our friendship can survive that.
54:35We've done it.
54:35Put it there, man.
54:39Aw, mate.
54:40I feel sick.
54:42You ready?
54:45F***, lad!
54:46Oh, my God!
54:49It worked!
54:51We caught up so much time!
54:53I can't believe that!
54:55It's stale!
54:56I can't believe that, lad.
54:58We've learnt our lesson now.
55:00We've had that kick up the arse that maybe the other teams haven't had.
55:02We've got the motivation drive and the realisation of what it feels like to be last and what it feels
55:07like to be so afraid of going home that I know that we're going to pull through for the rest
55:11of the race.
55:12Oh, my God!
55:14I'm amazed!
55:15I can't believe that!
55:19You ready?
55:28You said it!
55:30Sorry!
55:31Yeah.
55:32Oh, my God!
55:33You don't know how to see your panic and all those emotions coming in our heads.
55:37So, absolutely thrilled to be here.
55:39It is what it is.
55:39I'm amazed and I can't believe it.
55:41I'm a bit lost for words but so thrilled.
55:45So, so thrilled.
55:46Well done.
55:46Well done.
55:47Yeah, well done.
55:48Oh, I'm so sorry for the girls.
55:49Oh, bless him.
56:13Ready?
56:14One.
56:15Two.
56:16Three.
56:20Congratulations.
56:22You've successfully reached your third checkpoint.
56:24Please sign in at Overleaf.
56:26Oh, my God.
56:29Oh.
56:34I'm gutted.
56:37I genuinely thought we were in the four.
56:40I didn't think we were at risk.
56:42They zoomed through this bit of the race.
56:47It's okay, Posh.
56:50It's okay.
56:53We've had so many funny memories.
56:55We had a great time on this leg.
56:56I think we were obsessed with the turtles there.
56:58It's just finding that balance.
57:00Like, when it's the elimination leg,
57:01maybe we should have just been moving faster.
57:04To be eliminated against four other brilliant groups of people,
57:07I think, it's not so bad.
57:10Like, it is what it is.
57:11Someone has to go.
57:13We've got through it together.
57:15It's been a great laugh.
57:20You and your revolving doors.
57:22I love revolving doors.
57:23I know you do.
57:25The elimination's out of the way.
57:26The shackles are off.
57:28Bah!
57:29We need money.
57:30You don't just get given wins.
57:32You have to work for them.
57:33Oh, this is sick.
57:35No bus, no bus.
57:36No buses anywhere.
57:38Uh...
57:38Still exhaust our leader.
57:39It's okay.
57:40It's not okay.
57:42Wow.
57:42Look at this.
57:43Beautiful, isn't it?
57:45This way.
57:46Let's go.
57:47I'm not for YouTube, baby.
57:48I must admit.
57:49Cheers.
57:50Well, here we are.
58:06Two awesome heroes.
58:08żyemic, appreciate it.
58:08You will tell them that...
58:13you're worth it.
58:13You haven't seen them coming right after.
58:14Through her.
58:14Everybody cannot bad...
58:14Ur ode not to make sure it is.
58:19I said.
