00:00Sabita Basdell is finally a physically free woman as of Saturday night.
00:05According to reports, Basdell was held against a will by a woman and her teenage son,
00:10enduring abuse spanning from September 2025 to this month.
00:14She was allegedly forced to perform domestic duties at the Barakpur home of the suspects.
00:20Basdell's family, including her son, is said to have made attempts to contact her.
00:24As he recalls, in one video posted online where his identity is concealed due to being underage.
00:50The timeline of Basdell's abuse is uncertain based on what her son recalls.
01:16Her husband, Christian Dale Basdell, states that he tried making numerous reports to the police but was turned away.
