00:00Do you think on the win piece, so just hearing that deal from Ted Scott, are there times when it's
00:07not windy, at least via the forecast or what you can feel, but that almost makes it trickier because there
00:12are certain holes like 12 where it plays tricks on your mind?
00:15Well, I'm pretty certain that in this wind direction is that 11 and 12 will actually play downwind. So they're
00:22actually going to be like nine irons, eight irons into 11, which make that hole so much more scorable. And
00:2912 would be just wedges and gap wedges, pitching wedges and nine irons at most.
00:35I think when it comes the other way is when, like when it comes out of the South, I think
00:40that's when it plays back in the breeze. You're hitting six, six and five irons into 11. But I think
00:45you're fully going to expect a masters this year. That's going to have firm greens, fast greens and crispy back.
00:53I cannot wait. So I think there's going to be a high value on, on really having height in the
00:59greens, apex height in the greens, being able to control just your numbers. You know, it's, it's just playing in
01:06for guys who, who bombing off the tee, who are good with their wedges and their short irons right now.
01:12That's the way I see it.
01:13That's, that's a profile that fits a number of people on the list that we're going to talk about. Although
01:17I do see that.
01:18What you got, Sally? Let's see. What's, what's Jackson got?
01:20The 12th hole at Augusta generally plays in a Southeasterly direction.
01:25Okay.
01:26So does that mean the wind would become an opposite?
01:28Okay. Hold on. Can you go look at the, you know, our compass thing?
01:31Hold on. I sent these pictures to Charlie. I can get these real quick.
01:35Okay. Here we go. We're going to, oh, we're looking at the yardage book compass.
01:38Yeah. I want to look at the compass.
01:39We'll do it live. We are doing it live.
01:42Here we go. I got it.
01:43Okay. He's got it.
01:44So the 11th hole is going to play.
01:50It's going to play. All right. See, what'd you say the wind was?
01:53Which day? Cause it's, it's so Thursday, East, Northeast, Friday, East, Saturday, Northeast,
01:59shifting East, Sunday, East, shifting Southeast.
02:02It's playing downwind at 11 and 12.
02:04Wow. So it's not going to play difficult on those holes where 13 is, you know, 13 is going
02:10to play a little bit more like in and off the right, but that doesn't really matter for
02:15guys. Okay.
02:16I think this golf course is going to play fairly, you know, you're going to need the firmness
02:22of the greens and the speeds of the greens to really challenge these players, which this
02:27golf course is, is plenty challenging when you talk about how precise you have to be with
02:31irons. But when you don't have these crazy wins and then of course, some of the most important
02:38shots on this golf course kind of revolt, there's like five or six of them that you just got
02:41to be able to hit. Jack Nicholas always talked about it. Like you got, you got to hit, you
02:46know, the shot at the top of the hill at 15. Well, the second shot at 13, 11, 12. But
02:51if you get favorable wins in those, it's like, all right, that's, you know, it's, it's going
02:56to be prime for maybe some pretty good scoring this week.
