00:02I got a few reasons.
00:03I almost want to hang on to them and see if any listeners agree.
00:09But the fact is they've proven what they can prove in the regular season.
00:13They got Cade back.
00:14He looked fine last night.
00:15There were a couple of plays early in that game.
00:19Blew past a defender, went to the hole and finished over.
00:21I think it was Green, A.J. Green.
00:23And I was like, okay, that looks like normal Cade.
00:25And then at one point in the second quarter, he took the whole Bucs team to the rack and laid
00:29it up.
00:29And I'm like, he's fine.
00:31Okay.
00:34There was the good news that came out of the injury.
00:36It's like his injury was the best injury you could have.
00:39It sucks that you're gone for three weeks.
00:41But at the same time, it's one that when you heal from, when your lung reinflates, if you will,
00:47and heals up the spot that they had an issue with, you're back to normal.
00:52It's not like you have this lingering, oh, crap, my ankle is still this tweak.
00:56I got to just wrap it tightly and be careful about that.
00:59It's going to be a little loose.

01:02And he's good to go.
01:03And he looked great.
01:04Stewart came in.
01:05He looked great.
01:06The whole team looked great, frankly.
01:08I mean, they had, what, eight guys play 20 minutes or more.
01:13They had seven guys in double figures.
01:15They had 38 assists on 48 made shots.

01:19My God, that was a complete team effort.
01:22It really felt good just to see him back out there and to see him look like Cade Cunningham.
01:28And so now, you know, it's just there.
01:32So the evaluation of him today is a big thing.
01:35They're going to see how he feels today.
01:36And if he feels fine, they'll make a call on Charlotte.
01:39And I suspect if they feel like they wouldn't, JB after the game wouldn't commit to Cade playing in the
01:44Charlotte game, but did say, you know, we'll check in on him tomorrow as they should.

01:49There's no reason to rush him back if he's feeling any ill effects from the collapsed lung, then, you know,
01:59they can have him chill.

02:38With Cade being out for, what was that, I don't know, 10, 12 games or something, and Stu as well,
02:45the other guys played exceptionally well.
02:49And I think a lot of the controversy or why the Pistons didn't do something,
02:55because we know that Cade's going to get double teamed a lot in the playoffs.
03:00And it gives the coach now so much more options with guys that he can trust to come in there
03:07and knock them down.

03:12And there's a story put together by CBS Sports about how Cade's 11-game absence allowed specifically three guys to
03:24really blossom into assets for the postseason.
03:30I absolutely agree with Jenkins and Asar and Tobias.
03:38I mean, they don't just have to rely on a starting five anymore.
03:42It gives the Bickerstaffs so much more options to do things to keep them.
03:48I'm not making no predictions how far they're going to go, but they are a sound team with depth that
03:54they never had in the past.
03:56Well, again, you touched on something that people are writing about nationally and noticing,
04:01and we were hoping that this might be the case.
04:03Perhaps you've learned that we tend to be glass half full.
