00:00Way, way up where the planets do the hula. Spin and shot till you find yourself on Zoola. Let's take
00:07off, we're all ready to roll. It's fun to learn with the Zoola Patrol.
00:13Wake up, Gorgah, it's time to play. Come on, Captain Bula, let's welcome the day.
00:18Where's that cedar? Ready to go. Whizzy and wig are good to glow. Beakers bubbling, turning blue. Molto's making something
00:31new.
00:32Way, way up where the planets do the hula. Spin and shot till you find yourself on Zoola. See your
00:39round poles at Mission Control. It's fun to learn with the Zoola Patrol.
00:44Way, way up where the planets do the hula. Spin and shot till you find yourself on Zoola. See your
00:52round poles at Mission Control. It's fun to learn with the Zoola Patrol.
01:06Space. You can find a lot of things out here. Like planets that are made mostly of rock. And planets
01:13that are mostly liquid and gas. I wish I could find a planet that's mostly chocolate.
01:21By this time tomorrow, you can chalk up another win for the old Zedermeister.
01:27What makes you so sure you're going to win again? Because when it comes to hide and seek, I'm the
01:32best. And since I'm it this year, it'll be a trench.
01:36Don't be so sure. You may be good at hiding, but we'll see how good you are at seeking. I've
01:42got a new plan that's foolproof. Are you three teaming up again?
01:47Nah. We're not going to play. Everybody plays.
01:52What's the use? Every year, Cedar wins. And we're always the first ones to get tagged out.
01:58Yeah. We never find any good hiding places. Don't give up. This is a job for the Zoola Patrol.
02:05Maybe this is the year you'll do better. Maybe even beat Cedar.
02:11Bula's got a point. When I first competed, I wasn't very good. But I kept trying. And now I know
02:17great hiding places all over the solar system. On every planet. Except for on Jupiter, of course.
02:23Why not Jupiter? No one's ever hidden there.
02:28Ah!
02:29So, how can I help you?
02:31Oh, uh, we were just wondering about planets. Like, for instance, say... Jupiter!
02:40What's Jupiter like?
02:43Jupiter's a fascinating planet. There's an entire chapter on it in the Multopedia.
02:50Jupiter is a very big planet in the solar system. It's so big that around 1,400 planets the size
02:58of Earth could easily fit into it.
03:01A planet that big must have lots of places to hide. And Jupiter has many moons. Oodles and oodles of
03:09them. One of the most famous is called Io.
03:13Maybe it's so popular because it's so much fun to say.
03:17Io!
03:19Io!
03:21From far away, Jupiter looks like it has stripes and a few spots. The biggest one is called the Great
03:28Red Spot.
03:29The Great Red Spot? Why?
03:33Because it's really big and red. It's more than twice as big as the entire planet Earth. And the weather
03:40in the Great Red Spot, in fact, the weather all over Jupiter, is very different from Earth's weather.
03:47Thanks, Molto.
03:48Yeah, thanks a lot.
03:50Oh, well, you're welcome.
03:55My, they're in such a hurry.
03:58Jupiter sounds like the perfect place to hide.
04:01But remember what Molto said. The weather on Jupiter is different than on Earth. I wonder how it's different.
04:08We'll find out when we get there. But just in case, let's bring an umbrella.
04:12Mm-hmm.
04:15Welcome, contestants, to the interplanetary hide-and-seek game. This is your play-by-play announcer speaking. And what a
04:24game this is going to be. Returning champion Zeta will be it.
04:31And you know the rules. Hiders have to stay inside the solar system. And try to tag the tree before
04:40Zeta tags you.
04:41Ready to lose again, zoo lemons?
04:44No. We've got a great hiding place picked out. And it's...it's a secret.
04:52On your mark...get that...go!
04:58One, two, three...
05:08Let's hide on one of the moons.
05:10Good idea. There's Io.
05:12Whoa. Look at all the volcanoes on Io.
05:16Cool.
05:18But maybe we ought to hide on Jupiter. These volcanoes look a little dangerous.
05:23Uh-huh.
05:28Apple, Peaches, Zork, and Pie! If you're not ready, holler right!
05:32Here I go! Ready or not! Let's get this game started!
05:38Uh, what?
05:42How'd you know it was me?
05:44The old rule, wear a disguise and act like you're not hiding, Trick.
05:48Been there, done that. Better luck next year.
05:52The game has just started, and Zeta has already made her first tag!
05:57At least Wizzy, Wig, and Gorga weren't tagged first again this year.
06:02Wonder where they're hiding.
06:08It sure is windy here today. You see any place to hide?
06:12Not yet.
06:14I'm gonna keep a record of where we go, so we'll know great hiding places for next year.
06:20Howdy, neighbor. Wanna wrestle?
06:23No, thank you. We're just...
06:29Let's play again!
06:32How about we go somewhere else?
06:35Oh-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho! My stars! This is the most exciting hide-and-seek game I've seen in
06:43quite a while!
06:44Zeta makes another tag!
06:47No, pee-hee!
06:58Hey, no fair, Zulu Lemon!
07:07The Dormat!
07:10This Dormy here has all the other places we've been to!
07:14Do you think this is what Marco meant when he said the weather on Ukraine was...
07:19Ukraine!
07:21Let's find the Great Red Spot!
07:23Maybe the weather will be better!
07:26Zeta's positively amazing!
07:29She's found almost everyone!
07:34Oh.
07:36A tragedy, I don't...
07:38Oh, lassie.
07:40Only one team left in the game!
07:43Wizzy, Wig, and Gorga!
07:45Yeah!
07:46Yeah!
07:48Woo-hoo!
07:49Woo-hoo!
07:50But where could they be?
07:54Jupiter!
07:55Nah, no way!
08:00Welcome to the Great Red Spot!
08:04You came to see how I blow winds over 400 miles per hour?
08:09Huh?
08:09Yes?
08:14I have lots of room to play!
08:17We know!
08:18You're more than twice as big as Earth!
08:20And my storms are greater than anything on that planet!
08:27Let's get out of here!
08:29We can't!
08:30The wind's too strong!
08:31We have to find a place to land!
08:34A place to land?
08:36Right over here, pal!
08:37Best spot in all of Jupiter!
08:39Thanks!
08:41This isn't land!
08:42It's...
08:43liquid!
08:45And...
08:46cold!
08:47The ship's giving in from the pressure!
08:50Give it full thrusters!
08:52Ah!
08:56Jupiter!
08:57There's no solid place to land!
08:59Sure there is!
09:01Go down thousands of miles to my center!
09:04It's solid and it's a fabulous spot!
09:07We want to land on you!
09:09Not in you!
09:10You can't land on me!
09:12Where do you think you are, Earth?
09:17Great Red, what are you doing?
09:20I'm doing what I do!
09:22My winds are unstoppable!
09:23I'm a hurricane that's been going on a very long time!
09:31Can't fight the wind!
09:33Instead of fighting against the wind, why don't we get it to work for us?
09:40With this sail, we'll use the power of the wind to push us out of the Great Red Spot!
09:48Thinking scientifically, if I've looked everywhere but one place, then that one place is where they must be!
09:56Aha!
10:00She sees us!
10:02Go!
10:03We have to beat Theta to home base!
10:07Theta's found them!
10:10But she hasn't tagged them!
10:12Yeah!
10:14Oh, my stars!
10:16Wizzy and Wig are ahead!
10:18But Theta's moving in!
10:19They're almost home!
10:21Theta's trying to tag them!
10:23It's going to be cool!
10:25I can't walk!
10:28Come on, Wizzy!
10:30Go, Wig!
10:38Wizzy, Wig, and Gorgia win!
10:40Yeah!
10:44Congratulations!
10:45Great game!
10:46You three must have found a great place to hide!
10:50Yes!
10:50Jupiter was a great place to hide!
10:53But everywhere we went on Jupiter, it was all stormy, and there was nowhere to land on the surface.
10:59Just lots of gas, and then liquid!
11:03That's Jupiter, all right!
11:04That's why no one ever hides there!
11:07Next year, we're going to hide someplace else!
11:10Like, why?
11:13And next year, I'm going to play the game, too!
11:17I wonder what the weather is like on Venus.
11:25Welcome to our Molto Moment!
11:27Are you ready to talk about Jupiter and the Great Red Spot?
11:32Um, Testy?
11:34What are you doing?
11:36I'm going to help clean up the Great Red Spot!
11:40Testy, the Great Red Spot is on the planet Jupiter!
11:43And it's 24,000 miles wide!
11:47Uh-oh!
11:48I better get a bigger towel!
11:52The Great Red Spot isn't the same!
11:55It's a storm on Jupiter that's been going on for a long, long time!
12:02Now, can you tell me what makes Jupiter different from Earth?
12:06Uh, it's made of peanut butter and jelly?
12:10No!
12:11Jupiter is a different kind of planet than Earth!
12:14Earth is made of some metal, but mostly rock!
12:18That's why there's lots of land for people to stand on!
12:21While Jupiter is a huge ball, made of mostly liquid and gas!
12:26And you can't stand on liquid and gas, can you?
12:30Well, I never have!
12:31Until next time, buh-bye!
