00:00The government is moving to ensure that the effects of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East will not impact

00:20This was assured by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. amid the effects on the country of the tensions in the
00:25Middle East.
00:26During the Uplift Committee meeting led by the President, the government laid out measures one by one to address the
00:32effects of the war and ensure that it will not impact food prices.
00:35The President said that the government will issue an executive order to implement a P50 price cap per kilo of
00:41well-milled rice.
00:42Kapag tumas kasi ang presyo ng langis, sumusunod ang presyo ng pagkain, yun ang ayaw naming mangyari.
00:49Nag-recommend na ng National Price Coordinating Council na price cap na P50 pesos pawat kilo sa imported na well

01:05He also said that the P20 Peso Rice Program has been expanded to 627 centers nationwide.
