00:00The Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, announced on Wednesday that it has exceeded its target of 150,000 new voter

00:07registrants for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, or BARM.

00:12According to data from the poll body, a total of 161,429 applications were processed from February 9 to March

00:2131, which marked the deadline for voter registration ahead of BARM's first parliamentary elections scheduled on the second Monday of

00:30September.

00:31Among the provinces, Lanao del Sur recorded the highest number of applications with 50,918, followed by Maguindanao del Norte

00:40with 31,666, Maguindanao del Sur with 26,175, and Basilan with 21,734.
