00:00The Securities and Exchange Commissioner, SEC, announced on Tuesday that it has extended the reduced registration fees for micro, small
00:07and medium enterprises, or MSMEs, from the end of March to the end of December of this year.
00:12In a statement, the SEC explained that the extension is intended to encourage more MSMEs to formally incorporate.
00:19The agency also reported that MSMEs have saved approximately 54.77 million pesos as of March 26, following the fee
00:28reduction implemented on July 16, 2025.
00:32In the meantime, the 50% discount on securities registration for MSMEs will continue to be available until June 30.
